Isabella Harrison was enthusiastically complaining to Ruth Wills when Joel Russo returned early.
Seeing Arabella Vanderbilt standing there with something in her hands, Joel reached out and took the bag from her.
"What are you doing standing here?"
A warm breath reached her ears, a magnetic, enticing voice whispered in her ear, making Arabella shrink her neck and slightly turn her head to look at Joel.
Joel quickly kissed her on her fair cheek before straightening up, extending his long arm to wrap around her waist.
Kissed unexpectedly in front of so many people, Arabella couldn't help but blush.
"You're back."
Joel curled his lips into a smile, glanced down at the bag in his hand, "Are you making dinner?"
"Mmhmm. For Isabella."
"Hmm?" Joel raised an eyebrow, looking down at her, his deep eyes carried a casual warning.
"I also ordered fresh seafood; it should be here soon."
