Mary Douglas's face was tense and struggled, but upon hearing Beau Reed's words, she suddenly lifted her head and looked at him angrily.
"Don't tell me you are going to forcefully take me away again!"
Beau Reed paused and then suddenly laughed, "Things that I understood before, why did I need that kid to remind me again today?"
At this point, Mary Douglas couldn't possibly not know what he meant.
After the moment of tension, she suddenly became calm.
She looked at him coldly, clutching her shawl with one hand, "Speaking of unwillingness, Beau Reed, asking me to pretend like nothing happened before and just be with you, I'm unwilling."
"Then stay by my side and spend the rest of your time revenging against me."
