Five days later
Shen Qinglan lifted the curtain and gazed at the green hills outside the window, remaining silent for a long time.
Upon returning to town, she went straight to the Guest House to tell Shen Shan she had business to attend to and would be away for a while, then she and Duan Yunfei, with Xuan Ying, headed directly to Yongning Manor.
In these two days, Duan Yunfei hadn't spoken much, and he looked somewhat downcast.
"Young Master, Miss Shen, we've arrived!"
Xuan Ying's voice came from outside the curtain.
Shen Qinglan glanced at Duan Yunfei and noticed he hadn't moved, seemingly lost in his own thoughts, not hearing Xuan Ying's words at all.
She gently nudged him, "Yunfei, we've arrived!"
"Hmm?" He suddenly snapped back to reality, looking at her somewhat confused.
After a moment, he suddenly realized, "Have we arrived?"
"Yes!" Shen Qinglan nodded, "We've arrived!"
"Alright!"
