"Why is Teklin in such a bad mood today?"
The tall, thin wizard in the other portrait spun his pointed wizard hat on his finger, curiously looking at the irritable little dwarf. He was a portrait visitor from the next floor.
"Oh, him."
The plump woman with a small folding fan chuckled and explained, "This morning, some little rascal passed through the corridor with an invisibility charm and smeared Teklin with a booger... You know, we portraits can't physically interfere with the world outside the frames... so today, he's been particularly harsh on the invisible kids."
"Indeed, students pulling pranks while invisible are really troublesome."
The tall, thin wizard suddenly stopped spinning his pointed hat, revealing a look of empathy: "You'd think they're all university students, so why do they sometimes act like little kids?
