The depths of the Silent Forest.
One o'clock in the morning.
Amidst the cracks of the fallen trees, a Blue Moonstone unknowingly grew at some point, already blooming splendidly. As a relatively rare type of monthly flower on Buji Island, this Blue Moonstone grows alone in this decayed, dark corner, appearing exceptionally out of place.
Past midnight, the moonlight should have been at its fullest.
But tonight, the moonlight is particularly sparse.
The Blue Moonstone blossoms as much as possible, trying to catch as much of the sparse moonlight falling through the canopy's gaps. Because of this, when a gust of wind blows by, its petals are swept away without resistance.
Only a bare flower stalk is left, swaying solitarily in the lingering wind.
The next second.
A huge shadow descends from the sky, bringing with it an even stronger gust of wind, crushing the deadwood she was resting on and grinding the remnants of the Blue Moonstone into the forest litter.
