Aurelia POV
After receiving the call from Dominic, I packed fast and called my assistant to track and find out where Dominic called me and to fly me out to him. Dixon asked me what I was doing. He was worried because I was pregnant. I didn´t pay much attention to him. I was waiting for my assistant to call me back and tell me that everything was ready. After short minutes that felt like ages, my phone rang. I picked up my phone fast, not even checking who was calling me. ´Hello? Suzie?´ I called out, hoping that it was her.
´Hello ma´am, yes, it´s me, and everything is ready for your trip. I made sure that there is a doctor with you on the trip. I also made sure that some of our men will go with you two. That is not for the discussion.´ She informed me firmly. I smiled softly. ´Thank you so much, Suzie. I will pay you well for all of this after I get my hands on my husband.´I told her as we walked to the front door with my bag in hand. ´No problem at all, ma´am. I hope your trip goes smoothly.´ She said before hanging up. I bid my goodbye to Dixon and my puppies before running out ot my car and driving off to the private airport. I´m pretty sure I broke a couple of laws, but I didn´t give a fuck about that.
I need to go to Dominic, before I knew I was in the parking lot of the airport. I made my way fast to the private plane with my bag in my hand after parking, turning off my car, and locking it up. I ran fast into the plane when I was a bodyguard. As soon as I ran into the plane and sat down, the door was closed and locked. The plane took off after a couple of minutes. After we were steady in the air, the doctor came to me and checked on my baby and me. After the doctor made sure that the baby and I were okay, I relaxed and closed my eyes. I fell asleep without even realizing it, and I woke up when I was shaken. I groaned but got up. I was the bodu guard giving me the apology look before I got up.
I smiled at the guard softly and went to the waiting car. After getting in and the bags were in, the car drove off. I can´t wait to see him again. It took another two hours to get to the house. It was almost evening when we finally arrived at the farmhouse.
Dominic POV
I didn't even realize when I fell asleep, but when I woke up, it was already noon. I got up with a groan; my muscles were incredibly sore. Slowly, I made my way to the bathroom to take a shower. After my shower, I finally took a look in the mirror. I spent some time examining my wounds and bruises. With a sigh, I carefully changed my bandages. I winced in pain, but I pushed through it. I didn't want to burden Kai; he was already doing so much for me. Once I had changed the bandages, I put on the clothes that Kai had laid out for me and slowly made my way to the kitchen. I prepared some food and looked around for Kai, but I didn't see his car, so he might have been gone for a while.
When it was almost dinner time, he came home. I stood up from the stool and quickly walked over to him. ´Where did you go?´ I asked him, and he smiled before showing me grocery bags. ´Your wife is coming right? So I went out and got some fresh groceries and cook some dinner. I do hope that she will come tonight.´ He informed me and chuckled. I tried to help him, but he SLAPPED my hand away! After a while, we heard cars pull up in front of the front door. I pushed Kai behind a counter and took a knife to protect us. The front door opened and.....
