Ling Chen's perception was exceptionally sharp. The moment that evil gaze fixated on his back, he promptly turned around. However, when he looked back, he found nothing there.
"What's wrong?" Liu Feiyue was the closest to Ling Chen and, noticing his unusual behavior, asked in surprise.
"Nothing. It's probably just my imagination." Ling Chen shook his head. I've likely been cooped up for too long and become overly sensitive, he thought.
"Relax." Xue Wu Ya and Wei Qingyi also smiled. They didn't know Ling Chen well and assumed he was unfamiliar with such places and was thus being overly cautious.
Ling Chen didn't say much more, just nodded. He couldn't be bothered to explain further. Perhaps I really am overthinking things, he mused.
