Chapter 10 - The End of One Journey, The Beginning of Another.

As I looked back on everything I had been through, I realized how much music had changed my life. The journey had not been easy. There were moments of joy, moments of failure, moments of doubt, and moments when I wanted to give up. Yet every challenge made me stronger.

From my first music theory lessons with Eric Taylor's ABRSM Grade 1 book to learning piano with John Thompson Grade 1, every lesson became a steppingstone. I learned pieces that once seemed impossible, performed before an audience for the first time, overcame the disappointment of failing my Grade 3 Theory examination, and found the courage to try again. I discovered that failure is not the end—it is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become stronger.

There were times when financial difficulties forced me to pause my studies, but God's faithfulness opened a way for me to continue. My parents stood by me, my teachers guided me, and my friends encouraged me. Their support reminded me that no one succeeds alone.

As I continued preparing for my Grade 5 Practical Piano examination at MUSON, I understood that I was still growing. Every practice session, every mistake, and every improvement brought me one step closer to becoming the musician I dreamed of being.

One truth stayed with me throughout this journey:

"Every great author starts with one chapter. Every great musician starts with one note."

Those words became a reminder that every dream begins with a single step. Success is built through patience, consistency, faith, and the determination to keep moving forward.

Although this chapter marks the end of this part of my story, it is not the end of my journey. A new season awaits me. Soon, I hope to begin my diploma studies at MUSON, where new lessons, new challenges, and new opportunities will help shape me into a better musician.

To everyone reading my story, thank you for walking this journey with me. If my experiences have taught you anything, I hope it is this:

Never give up on your dreams. Keep learning, keep practicing, keep believing, and trust God through every season of your life.

This is not goodbye.

It is simply the end of one journey and the beginning of another.
