The man took out a letter from his pocket and respectfully handed it to Gu Changqing.
Gu Changqing opened the letter and scanned it in two or three glances, his eyes narrowing. However, he showed nothing on the outside and just asked, "Did anyone else see this letter?"
The man respectfully said, "This letter never left my side! I disguised myself along the way, and no one knew I'm someone from the master's side."
Gu Changqing nodded, "Did your master instruct you to stay in the Capital City after delivering the letter, or to head north to catch up with him?"
The man hesitated for a moment, "Our master told me to follow Lord Gu's orders!"
Gu Changqing turned and instructed the Chief Attendant beside him, "Take him away, arrange a separate courtyard for him, entertain him well, and if there's anything, I'll send someone to find you!"
