"How long will it take to get to Marine Ford?" Adonis inquired.
As soon as this question came out, Nami lowered her head in embarrassment and anxiety, then replied, "At least one day."
Adonis observed the slowly rising sun on the horizon and remarked, "Judging from your expression, it seems like time is of the essence."
Nami nodded vigorously. "We must arrive at Marine Ford before noon today, otherwise...," she trailed off. After a moment of hesitation, she mustered the courage to look at Adonis again. "I wonder if Lord Guardian has a way to travel quickly?"
Nami considered Adonis's words. 'Well, true… The continuous quantum shuttle can be used to rush to Marine Ford in a short time. But it's still early in the day, so there's no need to be in such a hurry,' Adonis mused inwardly, there was still time afterall, and he personally wasn't in a rush or anything.
He leaned on the mast, feeling the cool sea breeze on his face, and added softly, "Cast your thoughts away, and leave the rest to the miracle."
Nami couldn't help but feel puzzled by this statement. "Leave the rest to a miracle?" She was uncertain. If it weren't for the fact that only the Great Guardian could help Luffy, she might have gone alone by now.
However, she forced herself to calm down and consider Adonis's words seriously.
The person before her was the most mysterious member of the group, known for their incredible luck.
Their daily check-in points remained consistently at 120, never changing. Moreover, they held the title of the Great Guardian. Could someone with such an extraordinary track record really spout useless nonsense?
Nami pondered this for a moment but decided to trust Adonis. If he believed in the power of miracles, perhaps it could work in her world as well.
With determination, she walked to the bow of the boat, closed her eyes, and whispered, "Wind, carry me to Marine Ford before noon."
Almost immediately after her request, Nami sensed a change in the wind's direction, a mere three seconds later.
FWISH!!!
Suddenly, the ship surged forward, its speed quadrupling in an instant. It was as though the wind and sea themselves were collaborating to propel the boat towards Marine Ford at an astonishing rate.
Nami couldn't believe her eyes, but it was as if the sea breeze itself was shielding the delicate ship from the dangers of such incredible speed. Even the water seemed to be guiding and protecting them.
Under normal circumstances, a small ship moving at such breakneck speed would have been impossible to control.
However, at this moment, the vessel glided smoothly through the water without the need for any steering. Nami watched in astonishment as Adonis, the Great Guardian, calmly enjoyed the sea breeze.
Had he used his extraordinary powers to make this happen? Nami wondered in amazement.
Could miracles truly exist? The very thought left her in awe, and she found herself rubbing her eyes to confirm that this was indeed happening.
Nami stared in astonishment at Adonis's right shoulder, where a white fruit was slowly materializing with a peculiar texture. She was no longer the little girl from the East Sea and was well aware of what this was – a Devil Fruit.
Devil Fruits were known to reappear in the sea when a user of these fruits passed away. Nami had only heard stories about it but had never witnessed it firsthand. And here, right next to the Great Guardian, she was seeing the rebirth of a Devil Fruit.
This was an incredibly rare occurrence, and Nami's mind was racing to comprehend it all. The odds of witnessing such an event were astronomically low.
And then, the Devil Fruit was fully formed. Adonis turned his head, spotted the fruit descending from the air, and casually reached out to catch it. "Huh?"
Adonis turned his gaze towards Nami and inquired, "Is this a surprise you prepared for me?"
Nami shook her head slowly, still in a state of shock. She replied, "Lord Guardian, that Devil Fruit was reborn right beside you."
Adonis picked up the Devil Fruit, examining it closely. Its shape was indeed peculiar, with two leaves resembling shields and a white, swirling texture. He casually tossed it into his quantum space, claiming it as his own since it had been reborn so close to him.
Nami observed Adonis and then glanced at the healing crack behind his shoulder. She was at a loss for words, unsure of where to begin with the questions swirling in her mind.
After giving it some thought, Nami finally mustered the courage to ask, "Lord Guardian, I wanted to inquire about the crack in the air that appeared beside you just now."
Adonis clarified, "You mean that? It's a quantum space, a power from my world that allows me to store things."
Nami nodded, although still somewhat puzzled by this explanation, no she didn't understand, 'it store's things.' She left it at that.
