Chapter 262 - Resolving Akeno's Problem 1

Time and days passed with Austin training Rias to her limit never showing her mercy and making her feel like death was better than being whipped or treated like ragdoll all the time.

But deep inside, she admitted that her power and strength increased dramatically and that was all thanks to Austin's brutal way of training. She could feel her authority and control over the power of destruction was much finer that before that she could feel that she could defeat Raizer very easily like swatting a fly.

During those days, Rias got to know Austin more and figure that he wasn't someone that would force anything on anyone just because he had the power to do so. He was rather gentle and considerate, that if you could consider the mercy he showed her when she was at her final limit and let her rest.

Anything than that, he was gentle and calm explaining to her with so much patience she had never seen in anyone before. He simplified everything to her making it so easy to understand and between each training session he gave some pointers to her peerage members to better understand themselves and know the way to get stronger like Akeno's dual race issue, she couldn't accept he fallen angel side despite knowing that it would give her an incredible boost in her lightning magic creating a very powerful lightning called Holy Lightning affecting the races of the dark side becoming a dangerous foe to them.

Koneko who couldn't accept her identity as it reminded her of her past which caused a sever trauma to her, but if she did, her power would be great increasing the peerage's overall strength.

And just like, Austin gave them some advices to help them and even went to great lengths to tell them to come to him if they faced any difficulty in their own training or whatsoever.

He could see an incredible potential in any of them from Xenovia, Kiba, Akeno, Gasper, Koneko to Rias herself who began to understand what she was carrying since birth and what power could make her a very terrifying being in the supernatural world.

But there was only one person that didn't show any good potential to Austin, although he had a very powerful partner that could help him get stronger, he didn't have any talent, only his hard work which was barely enough if he wanted to impress Rias and make her fall in love with him.

Regardless, Issei didn't give up and with Ddraig's help, he trained harder building his body to be able to endure more boosts to unleash powerful strength.

However, Austin could only shake his head as his eyes could see everything, Issei was nearing his potential limit.

"Master, could you come and watch my match tomorrow?" In the ORC club, Austin was sipping the tea that his dutiful maid, Grayfia, had made for him before hearing Rias's sudden request remembering that she'd told him that she had a rating game match tomorrow against the most powerful individual of this generation, her cousin.

He smiled gently and put his cup on the elegant coffee table in front of him before saying in a tender yet deep magnetic voice.

"Of course, I can't miss my own student's chance to shine."

Those words made Rias's heart flutter and feel as if butterflies dancing in her stomach, she was happy that she smiled radiantly with slightly flushed cheeks.

The time she spent under Austin's training made her closer to him and feel a strange sense of attraction she couldn't explain. She couldn't get him out of her mind at all as she kept thinking about him that she even dreamt of him in her slumber.

And not only her, Akeno too was pleased that he was coming to watch their match. Due to his advices, she was able to get stronger than before though she still couldn't accept her other side and that what made Austin say the next words.

"Akeno, can I have a word with you?" He said his eyes looking at her deeper than usual making her blush but feel that there was something serious he wanted to say to her which made her calm down immediately and take a deep breath.

"Mhm." She nodded.

He then stood up and walked over to her as she was sitting on the couch opposite to him before he gestured for her to stand up.

Everyone felt that the atmosphere became slightly tense as Austin didn't have any of the gentle smile on his face at all and was rather very calm like an ocean.

Akeno stood up before Austin suddenly held her hand making her shudder in surprise then he teleport both of them disappearing completely from the club room.

Rias could only sigh as she could guess what he wanted to tell her friend.

'I just hope that everything will be alright.' she thought before starting sipping her tea while Grayfia stood at her place waiting for her master obediently while the others did the same.

Inside Avalon, Austin's own dimension.

The two appeared inside the deep forest in a flash.

Akeno looked stunned and surprised by the sudden scene chance, but she couldn't help and marvel at the sight around her. So many trees intertwined with each other with green light dots floating here and there. The air was rich with pure natural mana making her feel so calm and relaxed with each breath she took.

Admiring the scene for a moment, Akeno looked back at Austin and said. "Sensei, what did you want to talk about that you brought me here?"

"You already know, Akeno. If you continued this way, you wouldn't be able to get stronger further and rather limit your own potential." He said calmly explaining his reason for bringing her here.

"So you already know, about my other filthy side." She said with a self-depreciating smile.

This made him sigh as he already knew the reason why she couldn't accept her fallen angel side despite its incredible advantage to her.

"Look Akeno, no matter what happened in the past, the suffering and the tragedy you faced, all of that is not a reason to limit yourself, you are more than that." He said as he looked deeply at her in a deep encouraging tone.

"Do you know how much I suffered back then? When no one helped me and my mother!" She said with a pained expression as tears threatened to fall. She could still remember that day as if it was yesterday, it was the worst day of her life that she wanted to forget but couldn't.

The day she saw the death of her own mother in front of her own eyes by the people that should be considered family.

And the absent of the father that swore to protect her and her mother.

It was the tragedy of her life!
