Odin rolled his tall, broad frame out of the plush mattress, his heavy combat boots thudding loudly against the wooden floorboards of the bedroom. He stood up to his full height and stretched his powerful arms wide, letting out a sharp, deeply satisfied laugh. A wide, completely arrogant, and psychopathic grin locked onto his face, his slitted eyes dancing with a manic, unhinged energy. He was riding an absolute, god-tier high, his entire soul buzzing with the raw, volatile power of the Diamond-Rank Ghost and Dragon Affinities he had just dragged out of the underworld.
"Haha! Hell yeah!" Odin barked out, cracking his knuckles as he adjusted his stark black Officer coat. "Alright, pack the fuck up! It's time to leave this hole!"
Sitting right on the edge of the rumpled sheets, Lucy didn't share a single ounce of his obnobxiously cheerful mood. She glared up at him with an expression of pure, unadulterated disdain, her arms crossed tightly over her chest as her large breasts pushed prominently against the thin, unbuttoned fabric of her uniform jacket. Her face was still slightly flushed from her previous emotional breakdown, but her mind had already snapped back into a state of razor-sharp, furious suspicion.
"Sworn brothers, huh?" Lucy silently muttered to herself, her voice a low, venomous hiss that barely carried across the quiet bedroom. She watched him strut around the mattress like a king, her jaw tightening until her teeth actively ground together. "No fucking way... there is absolutely no fucking way this prick didn't just lie straight to my face."
The more her brain connected the dots, the more heavily suspicious she became. Her mind ran back through his entire dramatic, tear-jerking performance—his tragic, solemn tale about how he had selflessly sold his immortal soul to the Devil just to fish her out of the abyss, face an eternity of agonizing torment, and secure a private "sex breeding den" for the two of them. She had been so deeply broken by the tragedy that she had literally shed rivers of tears, slapped his face in a panic, and was seconds away from tearing her clothes off to ride his massive shaft into absolute submission.
"Fucker would have gotten away with it too," Lucy muttered under her breath, her eyes narrowing into deadly slits as she watched his smug profile. "He would have had me riding his cock right here on the blankets like an absolute whore, if it wasn't for that cockblocking Devil on the screen spilling the beans."
Odin, completely oblivious to the murderous wave of female suspicion radiating off her posture, lazily turned on his heel. His mind was too occupied basking in the pure joy of his three newly maxed-out Diamond Affinities to care about her glare. He swaggered across the bedroom floor, deciding to hit the adjoining bathroom first to handle his hygiene before the imminent battle on the surface.
He stepped up to the silver basin, reached down, and turned the heavy metal handle. To his mild surprise, the sink was working perfectly, a steady, high-velocity stream of clean, crystal-clear water rushing out of the faucet.
"Heh... courtesy of big bro Giratina, most likely," Odin muttered with an arrogant smirk, thoroughly enjoying the VIP perks of his new cosmic connection.
He cupped his hands beneath the cold stream, leaning down to splash the freezing water violently against his face. He scrubbed his skin with raw, heavy motions, systematically washing away the dried, crusted tracks of dark blood that had leaked from his eyes during the agonizing Diamond integration. Once his face was completely clean, he grabbed a towel, wiped his skin dry, and leaned forward to stare deeply at his own reflection in the silver mirror.
The image staring back at him was deeply unsettling. He locked his gaze onto his own pupils—they were a pair of completely dark, flat, and hollow black voids. There was absolutely no glint, no human reflection, and no trace of emotion left inside them.
"Since when have my eyes been this dead and lifeless...?" Odin muttered to himself, his voice dropping into a low, clinical whisper as he studied the frozen mask of his own features.
As if acting on pure, instinctual muscle memory, Odin focused the volatile elemental energy humming beneath his skin. In a single, silent snap, his black eyes violently transformed. His irises bled into a brilliant, glowing purple hue, centering around a pair of pitch-black, jagged, and heavily stylized skull-shaped pupils—the exact definitive mark of the Poison-type icon. He blinked a few times, expecting the brutal, burning pain from before, but this time there was absolutely nothing. It was smooth, effortless, and instantaneous.
He leaned closer to the glass, tilting his chin as he examined the demonic skull markings. He didn't even know what these eyes actually did yet; the system hadn't dropped a functional utility report, meaning they were likely just cosmetics for the time being. But staring at the stylized skulls immediately triggered a memory of his other girl back on the surface.
It looks a hell of a lot like Angel's snowflake pupils... Odin reasoned internally, his sharp mind analyzing the genetic anomaly. I wonder if it actually means anything in the grand scheme of things? Does Angel secretly have a natural Diamond-Rank Ice-Type Affinity locked under her soul? No way, right... that would mean the crazy bitch was literally born with a god-tier cheat code embedded in her soul from day one. Tsk... well, whatever. It doesn't matter right now.
Acting on instinct once more, Odin relaxed his focus. The brilliant purple hue and the black skull icons dissolved instantly, his eyes snapping right back into their original, dead black selves. He gave his reflection one last satisfying nod, running a hand through his messy black half-updo.
"Yeah... black fits the fit," Odin chuckled darkly to himself. "Matches my criminal drip a hell of a lot better."
The exact second he swaggered out of the bathroom and stepped back into the bedroom, he found Lucy standing right by the door frame. Her arms were still tightly crossed over her chest, her legs braced wide on the floorboards as she stared him down with an expression overflowing with pure disdain, heavy suspicion, and homicidal irritation.
Odin stopped, casually stuffing his hands into his uniform pants pockets as he looked down at her. "What?"
"Sworn brothers, huh?" Lucy sneered out, her voice dripping with an incredibly sharp, aggressive sarcasm as she took a step closer to his chest. "Sold your soul to the Devil, huh? From another world, facing an eternity of agonizing torment just to keep me safe? Is that right, Odin?"
Odin didn't even flinch. He played the fool flawlessly, putting on a completely blank, stupidly innocent expression as he shrugged his broad shoulders. He casually waved his hands at her face as if she had completely lost her mind and was spinning a scuffed web of absolute nonsense.
"No idea what the fuck you're talking about, princess," Odin lied shamelessly, his voice a lazy, carefree drawl. "Girl, you must be completely tripping right now. You're tripping on Parasect Spores or some high-grade sleep powder, I swear to God. You're hallucinating entire conversations."
Lucy's jaw practically tightened to the breaking point, a sharp, bitter laugh escaping her lips at his sheer, unmitigated audacity. "Rich! Wow, look at you, you actually learned a new word. You're so fucking full of shit, Odin!, don't even try to gaslight!"
She stepped right into his personal space, her crimson eyes burning with a furious, bickering energy. "Whatever! If you don't want to say shit, then don't! Keep your dumb, stupid secrets to yourself! Go get tortured in Hell for an eternity along with your stupid lies for all I care... see if I give a single fuck anymore!"
She violently snatched both of their Pokébags off the floorboards with a rough jerk, turning on her heel to march out of the bedroom. Odin followed closely behind her as she stomped toward the staircase, his dead black eyes instantly dropping to lock onto the view of her behind. As she walked down the narrow wooden steps, her tight, pencil skirt clung tightly to her curves, her juicy, fat ass jiggling and moving around with every heavy step while her hips swayed seductively in front of him.
Odin watched the entire movement with a thoroughly lecherous, predatory gaze, his shaft twitching slightly inside his trousers. In truth, he was still pretty fucking horny—and he would have been halfway through draining his warm semen deep inside her pussy if it hadn't been for the dumb devil itself. Fuck... Odin cursed internally, his tongue clicking against his teeth. I'd be buried balls-deep in that ass right now if it wasn't for that cockblocking, ghost-sucking, dragon-plowing Devil I just called my sworn brother.
Soon enough, the two of them reached the first floor of the café, the heavy atmosphere of their bickering carrying straight to the front counter. Odin and Lucy stopped near the wood, inspecting and discussing the strange, antique tea cup one final time. They stood side-by-side, their fingers tracing the silver patterns, but even with their combined intellect, they still couldn't figure out what was so special about the item. Other than it being ancient, bearing a literal Seal of Authenticity, being worth a massive fortune on the black market, and radiating a weird, deeply sinister aura that made the hair on their arms stand up, the object remained a complete mystery.
Remembering it was a sovereign gift from Big Bro Giratina, Odin reached down, unzipped his luxury Limited Edition Black Team Rocket Pokébag, and packed the ceramic cup securely into the padded lining, zipping the track shut with a clean click.
Then, it was time to lock down their frontline power before the transition. Odin reached down to his tactical belt, pulling out a pair of Super Premium Limited Edition Black and White Team Rocket Pokéballs—high-end, custom-cased gear that screamed absolute criminal dominance. With a sharp click of the button, a flash of red energy erupted across the floorboards, calling the Male Nidoran back from Rocky's arms and sealing him securely inside the custom sphere.
Lucy did the exact same, reaching for her belt to call her Female Nidoran back into her own Greatball. It was a high-grade, standard-issue ball that Lucy normally would have been exceptionally proud of under normal circumstances. If it fucking wasn't for this arrogant, narcissistic prick constantly bragging, showing off, and waving his cool-looking custom black-and-white Pokéballs right in her face!
"Damn it... I want one of those so fucking bad," Lucy muttered under her breath, her eyes burning with sheer envy as she watched him snap his premium gear back onto his belt.
She stood there for a split second, completely trapped in a dark, obsessive internal monologue. She decided right then and there with absolute certainty that she would definitely find a way to make this arrogant prick buy her a few of those premium black balls. I will make it happen, mark my fucking words, Lucy swore to herself, her eyes narrowing with a fanatical resolve. Even if it means I have to lock myself in his bedroom, suck his massive cock completely dry of any semen every single night, and act like a little obedient, obsessive slutty whore for his amusement... I am getting those custom black balls out of his wallet.
Odin's harsh voice instantly snapped her straight out of her provocative daydreaming.
"Wake the fuck up, bitch! Let's go!" Odin barked sharply, clapping his hands together to break her trance.
He quickly did a rapid, highly clinical triple-check of all his stuff, and custom items, ensuring everything was perfectly configured under the hood. Lucy shook her head, forcing her focus back online as she adjusted her uniform jacket and triple-checked her own backup slots. Once the preparation was fully finalized, the group pushed through the heavy front doors of the coffee café, stepping out onto the fractured road.
The moment their boots hit the cobblestones, they were confronted by a massive, translucent reality bubble hovering directly over the path. The image being broadcasted across the smooth glass surface was anything but pleasant. It was a vision of pure, unadulterated nightmare.
Inside the shifting sphere, they saw the real-time destruction of a burning mountain cave. A literal sea of raging, white-hot fire was consuming the subterranean veins, surrounded by the charred, mangled corpses of wild Pokémon and the lifeless, smoking bodies of human League trainers sprawling in the ash. The air inside the broadcast looked toxic, heavy, and completely choked with death.
"Creepy, ominous, and totally fucking safe in there, I'm sure!" Lucy commented with a heavy, deeply sarcastic roll of her crimson eyes.
Odin didn't answer with a joke. He simply stared into the center of the burning sea of fire, his posture going completely rigid as an uncomfortable, weirdly familiar fear and an unpleasant, suffocating sensation tightly gripped his heart. His intuition was screaming that the surface world had completely devolved into an absolute slaughterhouse while they were gone.
Suddenly, the swirling purple sky above the town buckled one last time, and the deep, rugged telepathic voice of Giratina violently boomed throughout their skulls, carrying the weight of grinding tectonic plates.
"This portal shall lead you both directly into the middle sections and levels of Mount Moon," the Pokémon Devil declared, its massive, golden-spiked presence radiating a cold, sovereign finality from the shadows. "In there, you shall find exactly what you seek... partially. The spatial exit is calibrated to deposit your bodies approximately 100 meters away from where your poison-type Pokémon is currently fighting for its life. That would be all. Go."
Lucy turned her head, tracking the rare, uncomfortable expression of dread locking onto Odin's pale features. Despite her lingering fury over his scuffed lies, her deep, protective love for the monster took complete control of her body. She stepped up against his flank, firmly locking her arms with his and hugging his forearm tightly against her chest, her large, soft breasts completely squishing against his uniform sleeve to offer him her warmth.
"I'm sure whatever the fuck happened in there... it will all turn out fine," Lucy whispered softly, her voice dropping into a serious, reassuring tone. She leaned up on her tiptoes, pressing her soft lips against his cheek to plant a firm kiss over his skin.
She pulled her head back, her eyes narrowing into a sharp, teasing, and beautifully mocking smirk as she delivered her final jab.
"Let's go... Sworn Brother," she said to Odin.
Odin let out a low, dangerous growl, his creepy, psychopathic smile slowly locking back onto his cheeks as his dead black eyes zeroed in on the flames. Without a single millisecond of further hesitation, the entire group stepped forward, plunging headfirst into the massive, translucent boundary of the portal. The reality bubble rippled with a flash of purple static electricity, and in a single, silent snap, their physical bodies completely vanished from the Distortion World.
"Just hope arceus didn't catch wind of this" Giratina said.
□■□
The reality bubble didn't just pop; it collapsed inward like a dying star, vacuuming Odin, Lucy, and their heavy cargo out of the quiet Distortion World and violently hurling them through a raw, ripping spatial rift.
CRACK!
A deafening thunderclap of tearing atmospheric pressure exploded within the dark cavern, and the entire squad crashed heavily against the solid, muddy stone floor of the real world. The physical transition hit their senses like a speeding freight train. All of them instantly lost their balance, their heavy leather combat boots skidding across the wet rock as they tumbled to the ground in a chaotic, tangled heap.
But before a single one of them could open their mouth to complain, the absolute, choking reality of the surface world violently slammed into their lungs. The thin, sterile air of the ghost town was gone, replaced by a suffocating, white-hot vacuum completely devoid of oxygen. The cavern crossroads were packed with a thick, rolling black smog and the utterly putrid, stomach-turning smell of hundreds of dead, charred Pokémon and human bodies roasting in a sea of raw fire.
"Cough! Cough! Fuck... what the hell?!" Lucy choked out frantically, her hands flying to her throat as she scrambled to her knees. Her tight pencil skirt twisted uncomfortably around her thighs as she manually clamped her legs together, trying to adjust to the blinding heat. It was ungodly, searingly hot inside the tunnel, the ambient temperature cooking the skin right off their faces. "Odin... cough... I can't breathe! The air is fucking toxic!"
Odin aggressively pushed himself off the stones, his combat coat covered in black ash as he forced his tall frame into a low, defensive stance. He coughed heavily, his throat burning from the sulfur, but his dead, hollow black eyes didn't waste a single millisecond on the environment. Before he could even scan the immediate darkness, a massive, rapid-fire swarm of glowing blue notification text violently detonated across his retinas, fracturing his vision with a barrage of electronic chimes.

Odin's features contorted, a jagged, completely psychotic and unhinged smile slicing across his blood-stained cheeks as he read the data block. "Heh... seems like you didn't disappoint at all, bro," Odin grinned like an absolute demon into the smoke, his heart pounding with a dark, predatory thrill. "I asked you to commit murder... and so you did. Look at those fucking numbers."
Without a fraction of delay, he barked out an internal directive to the system. 'System! Allocate the rest of the remaining IV Points to Weezing right now!'

Odin's brow furrowed into a sharp, deeply irritated knot as he listened to the flashing text boxes. 'Da fuck? Having him die on me right now is a terrible idea, and it definitely won't sit well with my plans. So fuck it, just do it. Put the stats in, since you apparently fucking know better anyways.'

[Thank you, host, for listening to my request. Poopie's existence is a rare delicacy to my mechanical soul.]
Odin's psychotic grin returned tenfold, his long black hair shading his lifeless eyes as he dropped a vulgar, completely unhinged retort back to the void. 'Tch, you love him that much? You might as well just turn into a real woman and let me fuck you then. I bet your little mechanical soul would be a rare, premium delicacy to my cock.'
"Heeelllooo!! Earth to Odin!! Hello, what the absolute fuck?!" Lucy yelled out frantically, her voice shattering his internal system monologue as she violently grabbed his shoulder and shook him. "Snap the fuck out of it, you idiot! We're breathing in a literal furnace and you're just standing there staring into space!"
"Aye, I hear ya... shut up," Odin complained, rubbing his ears as his senses fully calibrated to the subterranean roar of the flames. "Fuck my ears are ringing..."
The two of them rapidly observed their entire surroundings, their boots treading over the blackened gravel. Through the flickering crimson sheets of fire tearing up the path ahead, they suddenly spotted a flash of frantic movement. Two small Pokémon were running away in absolute, blind terror, scrambling over the rocky debris to escape the heat. It was a pair of wild Nidoran—one male, one female—their tiny paws kicking up ash as they fled the destruction.
The exact layout of the scene hit both Lucy and Odin with a sudden shock of recognition. They both froze, their eyes widening as the memory clicked.
"Wait a minute..." Lucy gasped, her wobbly legs stepping closer to Odin's side. "Those Nidorans... Odin, we saw this exact same scene inside one of those translucent bubbles while we were exploring the Distortion World."
Odin's slitted eyes narrowed as he analyzed the timeline. "Yo... Lucy... I think time is completely fucked in inside the Distortion world. Seems like being locked in the reverse world has both some serious pros and some massive cons under the hood."
"Thought we already established that.. anyways, Tell me about it," Lucy replied back, her voice tense as she scanned the smoke. "So does that mean that weird, robotic robotic-looking Tyranitar we saw actually exists? Is it running around in some weird alternative timeline... or some scuffed future? Could there also be some weird past loop as well?"
"Well, whatever the fuck it is, it doesn't matter right now," Odin sneered, his lazy, default malice instantly locking back onto his face as his eyes tracked the fleeing creatures. "I see two high-utility Poison-types right there. And according to your own self proclaimed info back at the base, these specific wild brackets are considered incredibly expensive, high-tier royalties within the Team Rocket black market or distribution for TR points."
He turned his head to look at her, his lips parting into a slow, demonic, and deeply predatory smile. "So don't mind me, boo boo... but I'm looking at walking, breathing money right now. Capital investment secured."
Odin snapped his head toward the granite enforcer waiting in the shadows. "Rocky! Crush them! Rock Slide!"
The massive Graveler let out a heavy, gravelly grunt, his body instantly curling into a tight, solid boulder as he rolled aggressively into the path of both the running Nidoran. Before the tiny creatures could even turn around, Rocky unleashed his continental weight, summoning a cascade of massive, jagged boulders that came crashing down from the cavern ceiling directly on top of their positions. The Graveler was completely, ridiculously overleveled for these wild beasts; the blunt force immediately crushed their defenses, knocking them flat into a fainted state. But Rocky had perfectly maintained his calculation, holding back his full power just enough to avoid killing them.
Odin swaggered forward over the smoking gravel, approaching the two unconscious forms. He extended his pale hands, leaning down to touch both of their bodies concurrently.
"Bless," Odin coldly murmured.
The mechanical Diamond cheat code exploded through his palms. Instantly, a blinding, celestial radiance erupted from his skin—the divine, translucent Light of Arceus washing over the two wild Pokémon. The blinding white phenomenon lasted for a mere fraction of a second, violently rewriting their natural Individual Values until the process concluded, instantly turning both Nidorans into high-tier Platinum-Potential assets. Odin didn't waste a breath; he casually unclipped two basic, standard-issue Pokéballs from his belt and chucked them downward. The spheres snapped open, vacuuming the upgraded targets inside with a clean click.
"Money secured!" Odin chuckled darkly, snapping the balls onto his tactical array. "Easiest profit of the week."
Lucy stared at him, her hands flying to her hips as her mouth practically dropped open in pure, irritated bewilderment. "Are you fucking serious right now, Odin?! I thought you actually cared about your partner Pokémon and your girl Angel! Aren't you being a bit too goddamn lax right now?! I don't know, maybe try setting your fucking priorities straight for once?!"
[Ding!]
[I highly agree with the female human! Host, your focus is entirely fucked!]
Odin's face went flat, a dark vein throbbing on his temple as he snarled internally. 'Shut the fuck up, system! Money always comes first, bitches come later! That is the baseline rule of the streets!'
He cut a sharp, irritated glare back at Lucy, waving his hand to dismiss her complaints. "Aye, we are going right now, shut up. I already assure you the girl is perfectly fine... Big Brother Giratina personally verified her status before we left. Weezing is the main issue here, so get off my back."
Lucy blinked, her brow furrowing into a tight knot of confusion as she stomped after him. "Weezing? What the fuck do you mean, Weezing? Wasn't it a Koffing when we left for Mt.Moon?"
Odin let out a loud, mocking laugh, completely utilizing the opportunity to switch the topic and deflect from his system notification about telling him that Koffing evolved. "Well, my little purple blob is just so incredibly talented and built so entirely different compared to you and your lowborn Arbok, that even if I'm taking a long nap or sleeping in a bed, he will continue to level up, murder targets, and evolve under the fly. Don't get jealous, princess, and don't be envious of my superior training methods."
"Tch! Fuck you and your stupid, scuffed secrets!" Lucy hissed back aggressively, her face turning red as she walked right past him. She began stomping over the rocky debris, her hips swaying in pure, homicidal irritation. "If you don't want to say shit, then don't fucking say it! See if I care!"
They continued marching deeper into the burning vein of the cavern, the air growing progressively thicker with the heavy stench of roasted flesh. After only a few minutes of navigation through the smoke, Odin's boots suddenly paused.
Directly ahead of them lay a huge, sprawling sea of burned, mangled corpses—a literal meat grinder of charred bodies. Right next to a jagged, black boulder, Odin spotted the remains of a wild, massive Golbat. The bat-type was horribly burned, its wings torn to shreds and its torso half-eaten by corrosive chemical reactions. But right beside its dead fangs, resting in the bloody ash, was a solitary, custom-painted sphere.
Despite the fact that most standard issue gear looked exactly the same to an untrained eye, Odin recognized the custom scratch marks on the casing in a single millisecond. This was Weezing's personal Pokéball.
"Tch... where the fuck are you, you purple blob," Odin muttered, his voice dropping into a tight, dangerous rasp.
He leaned down, picking up the dirty Pokéball and wiping the ash off the casing before storing it securely into his premium pocket belt. He cut his dead black eyes over toward his partner. "We are incredibly close, Lucy. Keep your eyes completely about. Dude is probably close by here somewhere."
Odin paused, turning his head to look back at Rocky, who was still faithfully cradling the glass incubator in his stone upper arms. Odin reached out, his hand touching the Graveler's rough, slate-like skin as his internal system ran the structural numbers under his gaze. 'Not enough IV points to get you to Platinum-Potential just yet, buddy... almost there, though. Guess I'll have to buy some of those Carbos, and the one that boost special attack, forgot its name, and maybe some other stat-booster out of the base shop later to force the breakthrough.'
"Let's go, Lucy," Odin commanded flatly
They began walking side-by-side through the graphic sea of fire and roasted corpses, coughing occasionally as the severe, bitter pockets of chemical gas penetrated their lungs. And then, as they rounded the final bend of the smoking rock formation, they finally saw exactly what they had come looking for.
It was Weezing.
But the sheer, catastrophic state the Pokémon was currently in sent a massive shockwave of pure horror straight through both Odin and Lucy's chests. The purple, two-headed sphere had completely, utterly lost its mind.
The graphic scene finally made Odin understand why the system text boxes had been warning him in panic inside his mind. Even Odin—as heartless as he considers himself, a self proclaimed villain wannabe, and a thug life envisionary—felt a sudden, tight lump form in his throat as his slitted eyes locked onto his partner. He had explicitly wished for him to kill, to slaughter, and to massacre everything in sight... but he had never wanted this. Not this. Whatever the fuck this psychological nightmare was, it was deeply unsettling.
Weezing was moving purely like a brainless, dead zombie, his biological matrix operating on raw, primitive survival instinct. His cartoonish eyes were completely milky white, devoid of any focus or sentience. He was floating mere inches off the ground, entirely exhausted, his vents sputtering weak, uncoordinated pops of gas as he frantically and mindlessly slammed his own massive purple heads against the jagged cave rock, repeatedly bashing his own skull because his broken mind hallucinated that the stone was an enemy Pokémon. He was a shell. A hollow, traumatized weapon.
"I... I didn't want this..." Odin stuttered out, his voice cracking slightly for the second time in his life, his frozen composure wavering as he stared at the self-destructive behavior of his starter.
Lucy's breath caught in her throat, her face turning pale with a deep, crushing sorrow as she witnessed the blob's madness. She stepped forward, her hand trembling as she pointed past the rocks, gently nudging the heavy fabric of Odin's black uniform coat to draw his attention toward the center of the clearing.
There, standing under the flickering orange glare of the burning cave, they saw her. It was Executive Ariana.
And then, the exact tragic sequence of events transpired right before their eyes—the precise baseline scene that had been playing out before. The exhausted, broken Weezing had absolutely no move PP left inside his slots; driven by pure instinct, he used his own remaining lifeforce to execute a desperate, failing Struggle attack, his massive body lunging forward only to completely miss Ariana's position and crash heavily into the dirt, coughing up blood as his energy bottomed out.
Ariana looked down at him, her heart heavy. At this rate, the creature was going to die right in front of her, either from sheer exhaustion or by burning away the last of his own life force. "Sorry," she muttered, her voice shaking slightly. "But let me put you out of your misery. Sorry, Odin... I'll get you a new Koffing. I will personally force Petrel to breed a Platinum-Potential Koffing just for you."
She raised her hand, her eyes locking onto her airborne vanguard. "Honchkrow, Dark Pulse!"
"Shit, Odin! We need to do something right now!" Lucy panicked frantically, her hands flying to her backup balls as her legs shivered inside her skirt. "He's going to die!"
"Fuck, I know!" Odin roared back, his dead black eyes violently snapping into an expression of pure, unbridled murderous fury.
Her massive bird-type opened its beak, unleashing a devastating, spiraling wave of dark, concentrated energy straight at the collapsed Weezing. But just as the black beam was about to obliterate the broken shell—
"Graveler, Rock Throw!" an arrogant, cocky male voice echoed from the darkness of the lower tunnel.
"Arbok, Sludge Bomb!" a second voice cried out, a bit timid and sheepish, yet fierce.
A massive, jagged boulder rocketed out of the smoke, colliding violently with a high-velocity stream of toxic purple sludge. The two sudden attacks slammed directly into Honchkrow's Dark Pulse mid-air, detonating in a massive explosion of rock shards and acid that violently forced the trajectory of the beam wide, causing it to miss Weezing by mere inches and shatter the cavern wall behind him.
Ariana snapped her head toward the southern tunnel entrance, her hand instantly dropping to her holster as her Arbok coiled into a lethal, defensive spring.
"Sorry, but not sorry. I would prefer if you didn't kill my two-headed blob," the arrogant male voice jeered as the thick smog began to clear. "I have a serious bone to pick with him, so kindly fuck off, will ya?"
"Sorry... Ariana... it's been a while, huh?" the female voice added, sounding a bit sheepish as she stepped into the dim light of the sea of fire. "Kind of a long story..."
Ariana froze, her breath catching in her throat as the firelight illuminated the two figures stepping over the blackened corpses.
"It's you..." Ariana breathed, her cold mask completely fracturing as a look of total shock washed over her face. "You're alive... both of you."
