Chapter 112 - 6-

Chapter 6: Trouble

Izuku and Uraraka stood outside Tetrax's cloaked ship, waiting for him to emerge. Both teens were sweaty and out of breath, having barely escaped Bakugo's wrath after school. They had managed to break into a nearby alleyway, where Izuku transformed into StinkFly to fly them out of trouble. Now back in his human form, he winced at the soreness lingering from yesterday's training. His bruised body wasn't doing him any favors—and he was still reeling from his mother's reaction last night.

Yesterday night

"Izuku! Oh my god, what happened?!" Inko cried as she rushed toward him, her eyes wide with panic. Her hands trembled as she touched the bruises and small cuts that marred his face. Tears welled up in the corners of her eyes, her fear palpable.

Izuku's chest tightened with guilt. He hadn't meant to worry her this much. "M-Mom, it's okay! It's just... training! Yeah, training!" His words stumbled out before he could think. Why did I say that?!

Inko's brow furrowed. "Training? For what? Who were you training with?" Her voice was shaky, her concern growing by the second.

Izuku's mind raced. Crap, how do I explain this? He fumbled for something that wouldn't sound suspicious. "Uh... training for U.A.!" He stammered, avoiding her gaze. "I... I met a friend, and she's training to be a hero too, so we've been helping each other—WHOA!"

Before he could finish, his mother pulled him into a crushing bear hug.

"Oh, a girl!" Inko squealed, her tears forgotten, her tone suddenly full of excitement. "My baby boy is growing up so fast! I have to call Mitsuki!"

"Izuku's face turned beet red. "It's not like that!" he yelped, flailing awkwardly in her embrace.

Inko pulled back, her grin mischievous. "Oh, sweetie, I remember when I met your father. He was such a charmer." She leaned on her hand, momentarily lost in nostalgia. Then, snapping back to the present, she looked at Izuku warmly.

"Whatever she is to you, I'm just happy you have another friend besides Katsuki."

Izuku forced a smile, but inside, he flinched. His mother and Kacchan's parents still believed the two of them were friends. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Y-yeah, it's... it's nice to have someone else to talk to."

Inko's expression softened, but her eyes filled with worry. "Izuku... are you sure you want to go to U.A.?" Her voice was hesitant, a mix of concern and fear. "I mean, I know you can do it. It's just... I don't want you to get hurt."

She reached out to brush a stray lock of hair from his face, her hand trembling slightly.

Izuku's heart ached. He knew his mother was scared for him, understandably, especially after everything he'd been through in just a few days. But he couldn't back down. Not now.

"I'll be fine, Mom, I promise," he said, giving her his best reassuring smile. "Uraraka and I are training really hard. And besides, I won't know if I can do it unless I try, right?"

Inko searched his eyes, her worry etched into every line of her face. After a moment, she sighed, pulling him into another hug—this one gentle, almost protective. "Right," she whispered. "I'll support you, no matter what."

Izuku smiled as he hugged her back, warmth spreading through his chest.

Inko pulled away, wiping the corner of her eye. "Now... tell me more about this Uraraka girl."

"Mom!"

Back to the present.

Izuku shook the memory from his head, smiling softly. His mother always worried too much, but he loved her for it.

"Jeez, does that Bakugo guy ever give up!?" Uraraka groaned, dragging her hands down her face in exaggerated frustration. "Don't tell me he's gonna chase us every single day!"

Izuku offered her a sheepish smile, feeling a bit guilty for dragging her into Kacchan's line of fire. "Well... it's kinda good training?" he said, shrugging helplessly.

Uraraka shot him a narrowed look, her brows furrowed, before letting out a long sigh. "I guueeesss."

SPFFFFFFF

The teens looked up as a familiar sound echoed above them—the ship uncloaking. The air shimmered briefly before revealing Tetrax's ship. The door opened with a soft hiss as Tetrax made his way toward them, his heavy boots crunching on the ground.

Izuku and Uraraka quickly let out big smiles excited for their first- well not first, but first professionalpatrol!

Izuku and Uraraka exchanged excited looks, their exhaustion momentarily forgotten. "Tetrax! We're ready for patrol!" Uraraka called out, her usual energy back as she pumped her fist in the air.

Tetrax tapped his chest with his fist, a gesture the two teens had come to recognize as his greeting. "Good to see you both made it," he said, his deep voice carrying a hint of approval. His gaze shifted over Izuku briefly before landing on Uraraka. His eyes narrowed.

Uraraka tensed immediately, breaking out in a nervous sweat. "W-what?" she stammered, glancing around nervously.

Tetrax folded his arms. "Your disguise. Where is it?"

Uraraka's eyes widened as she suddenly remembered. "Oh! My Lucky Girl costume! It's right here!" She quickly unzipped her school bag, pulling out the bundled costume with a sheepish grin.

Tetrax reached into the bag and pulled out the costume, inspecting it for a moment before giving a nod of approval. "Good. Get dressed," he said matter-of-factly, tossing the costume over her face.

"Hey!" Uraraka huffed, pulling the costume off her head as Tetrax opened the ship to let her change inside.

As Uraraka disappeared into the ship, Izuku stood off to the side, fidgeting with the Omnitrix. "Hmm, FourArms? No, maybe Feedback? Or should I go with Ditto...? What about—"

"What are you doing?" Tetrax's voice interrupted his internal debate.

Izuku blinked and looked up, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh! I'm just deciding which alien to use for patrol." His gaze drifted toward the familiar hourglass insignia on Tetrax's chest. "I know I shouldn't turn into DiamondHead while you're around, so I'm trying to figure out who'd be best."

Tetrax gave him a thoughtful nod. "Smart thinking. But remember—choosing the wrong form too early can leave you at a disadvantage. Always assess the situation first. The right alien for the right job."

Izuku nodded quickly, taking his mentor's advice to heart. "Got it!"

Just then, they heard footsteps approaching. Uraraka reappeared, now fully dressed in her Lucky Girl costume, her face lit up with a wide grin. "Ready to go!"

Izuku smiled back, but his expression shifted as a thought occurred to him. "Uh, wait a second... How exactly are we going to patrol without getting the police or heroes called on us? We're still technically vigilantes."

Uraraka paused, her brow furrowed in thought. "Oh yeah! We're kinda... criminals, aren't we?" She looked up at Tetrax and scratched her cheek bashfully. "No offense, but you're not exactly the most... subtle."

Tetrax chuckled, a low sound that made the hairs on the back of their necks stand up. He gave them a sly grin, his eyes glinting with a hint of mystery. "Don't worry," he said, his voice carrying a strange confidence.

"You'll see."

"My legs feel like jelly," Izuku panted, bending over with his hands on his knees.

"I think I'm gonna puke," Uraraka groaned, clutching her stomach, exhausted from using her quirk multiple times.

Tetrax glanced back at his students, who were struggling to catch their breath after leaping across rooftops. "This is great training," he said in his usual, matter-of-fact tone. "Not only will your human bodies adapt, but being able to traverse the city quickly is essential—whether you're trailing villains or escaping from heroes during patrol."

Uraraka pouted, wiping sweat from her forehead. "Hey! Why haven't you been making those bridges this whole time?" she asked, pointing to the crystal bridge he'd just created to cross to the next building.

Izuku took mental notes, already thinking about how useful DiamondHead would be for something like this. "I guess the training you had me do as Ditto is paying off…" he muttered, recalling the obstacle course.

Tetrax's expression didn't change, but there was a hint of approval in his eyes. "Exactly. I had you train as Ditto to improve your teamwork and adaptability. You're learning how to handle unexpected situations."

As they crossed the bridge, the teens watched curiously as Tetrax knelt down and pulled a small, disk-like device from his utility belt. He placed it on the crystal bridge and pressed down.

VRRRRRRRRVRRRRRRRVRRRRR

Izuku and Uraraka watched as the bridge vibrated intensely before shattering into dust.

"Whoa!" Izuku's eyes widened, and Uraraka flinched as the bridge crumbled away.

Tetrax stood and pocketed the device. "I don't want to leave any evidence of where we've been. But I figured I'd let you two recover a bit."

Izuku and Uraraka exchanged confused looks before turning back to Tetrax.

"Recover? Here?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, what do you mean?" Uraraka added, tilting her head.

Tetrax gave a small smile. "Gluto hacked into the local police radio. We know exactly where a crime is happening." He motioned for them to follow him to the edge of the rooftop, where they could look down at the street below.

Uraraka's breath hitched. "No way... Actual villains!"

Izuku leaned forward, his expression turning serious as he studied the scene below. A bank was surrounded by police, a crowd gathering outside, while two mutant-quirked men stood by the entrance.

The first villain was tall and muscular, with thick, gray skin and a horn protruding from his snout—a clear rhino mutation quirk. He wore gold-spiked shoulder pads, camo track pants, and a yellow tank top with a star strapped across his chest. His multiple ammo pouches hinted at the massive gun he was holding, which looked ready to fire.

Next to him was a lanky man with a warthog mutation quirk, his purple mohawk standing out among his brown fur. He wore a cropped jacket, leaving his purple-tattooed torso exposed, and his visor matched the purple, Tron-like lines running down to his gauntlets.

"Why aren't the police doing anything?" Uraraka asked, gripping the ledge.

"They can't," Izuku said, narrowing his eyes at the thugs. "Look at them. They're robbing the bank, but they haven't taken any money. They're just standing guard. That means there are probably hostages inside... and more criminals."

Uraraka blinked, impressed by his deduction. "Wow, Deku. That's… really smart. So, what do we do?"

Tetrax gave Izuku an approving nod. "Impressive analysis. Use the Omnitrix."

Izuku's gaze snapped up to Tetrax. "Who should I go with?"

Tetrax folded his arms, meeting Izuku's eyes. "You tell me. Who's best for the situation?"

Uraraka fidgeted nervously. "Is this really the best time for a test?" she asked, scratching her cheek.

Izuku stared down at the villains, his mind racing. "Okay, the rhino guy has a gun, so I need someone bulletproof. DiamondHead—no, I can't use him because of Tetrax. XLR8—no, I don't know if I'm fast enough… what about…? mutter mutter mutter…"

Uraraka's eyebrow twitched as she listened to Izuku's muttering, but she stayed quiet. Tetrax, on the other hand, watched with mild intrigue, clearly curious about the boy's thought process.

Suddenly, Izuku's eyes lit up. "I've got it! GhostFreak! They can't shoot what they can't see. And I might not even need to fight them—I'll sneak in, scout the situation, and rescue the hostages!"

Uraraka let out a sigh of relief, grinning. "That's a great plan, Deku! Those idiots won't even see it coming!" She pumped her fist excitedly.

Izuku's face flushed slightly, but he quickly regained his composure and popped the Omnitrix dial. He spun it to GhostFreak's silhouette and glanced at Tetrax for permission. Tetrax gave a single nod.

Izuku's grin widened as he raised his arm. "It's hero time!" He slammed his hand down on the watch.

FLASH

Uraraka let out a hiss, instinctively squeezing her eyes shut against the brilliant burst of green light. "Damn it! Every time!" she muttered, rubbing her eyes furiously. After a few seconds, she blinked rapidly, eager to see GhostFreak in action—only for her face to fall into confusion.

Tetrax stepped forward, his sharp gaze narrowing. "This isn't good."

Standing in front of him wasn't the eerie, ghastly form of GhostFreak, but instead the creature of the deep, scaled figure of RipJaws. His fish-like eyes gleamed under the dim rooftop lights, and his massive, sharp teeth glinted menacingly.

"RipJaws!? Ohh man, what a rip off," Izuku muttered, his voice deep and raspy in this form, clearly frustrated.

Uraraka squinted. Was that a pun? she thought, sighing internally at Izuku's bad joke.

Tetrax, ignoring the banter, quickly scanned the villains below before tapping his comms device. "Gluto, track me to the nearest source of water now," he ordered, his tone sharp. RipJaws and Uraraka could only hear the faint, garbled response from Gluto over the earpiece. Tetrax nodded at the reply before turning to Uraraka.

"Lucky Girl, follow me. I'll need your abilities to transport the water efficiently," he instructed.

"Right! …Wait, transport the water?" Uraraka asked, her brows knitting together in confusion.

Tetrax turned toward RipJaws. "Do not engage. You're barely trained, and I don't trust you alone against these two. Stay here and wait." His voice was firm, leaving no room for argument.

RipJaws' gills flared slightly in frustration as he watched Tetrax grab Uraraka by the arm and leap off the roof. Uraraka shrieked in surprise, "AHHH!" as they vanished over the edge, landing gracefully in the alley below.

RipJaws stared after them for a moment, his mind racing. 'Okay, Izuku. You can do this. Just wait. Don't mess up. That's all you've got to do.' He flexed his claws nervously, trying to calm himself down.

But then, his attention snapped back to the scene below. Through his fish-like vision, RipJaws watched in horror as the warthog-man grabbed a small, green-haired girl who had strayed too close to the action, trying to get a better view. The police immediately yelled warnings and demands, their voices urgent and desperate. RipJaws could hear it all clearly from his vantage point.

'Do not engage'

The words echoed in his head as he watched the warthog mutant hold the girl by her hair, a massive knife pressed dangerously close to her throat. The villain's large belly shook with laughter as he taunted the police, daring them to try something.

RipJaws' heart pounded in his chest. His fists clenched tightly as the pressure inside him built. He couldn't just stand there while an innocent girl was in danger. He knew what Tetrax had said... but this was too much.

'I can't just watch this happen'

His decision was made in an instant.

"Oh crud," RipJaws muttered under his breath, clenching his sharp teeth together as he crouched, muscles coiling.

This was going to be stupid.

 ________________________________________________

The pig-man, grinned wickedly as he dangled the small girl in front of him. "Heh heh heh... snort... Yo, Rocksteady, check this out!" The Warthog-man called, proudly showing off his new hostage, ignoring the frantic shouts from the police.

Rocksteady, the larger, rhino-mutant villain, glanced over with a wide, toothy grin. "Heh, nice catch, Bebop. Now the pigs won't dare take a shot at us." His thick Russian accent dripped with smug satisfaction.

"Ay watch how you use that word now suckuh" Bepop yapped, mad at the comparison.

"Eh, My bad"

Suddenly, the air shifted. Out of nowhere, another green-haired girl, much older and with striking agility, leapt over the crowd, landing in front of the two villains with a determined, yet composed expression. Her stance was firm, her body tense, but her eyes burned with controlled fury.

"Big sister!" the younger girl cried out, tears of relief streaming down her cheeks.

The older sister—Tsuyu Asui—stared back at the villains, her froglike demeanor calm but fierce. "Let Satsuki go... ribbit."

Bebop and Rocksteady exchanged glances before breaking into loud, obnoxious laughter. Rocksteady wiped away fake tears, chuckling. "Or what, little girl?"

Without wasting a second, Tsuyu's mouth shot open, and her long tongue lashed out, wrapping tightly around Bebop's arm—the one holding her sister. With a swift jerk, she propelled herself forward at blinding speed, slamming her feet into Bebop's face with a resounding crack.

"Gahh!" Bebop's grip faltered, his snout stinging with pain as he staggered backward, releasing his hold on Satsuki.

Seeing her chance, Tsuyu's tongue shot out again, this time wrapping around Satsuki's small frame. In one fluid motion, she pulled her little sister toward her, catching her mid-air and landing on the ground with a soft thud. The two sisters embraced tightly, Tsuyu wrapping her arms protectively around the sobbing girl.

"It's okay now, Satsuki," Tsuyu whispered, her voice gentle but her eyes still locked on the villains. "I've got you."

Rocksteady's face twisted into rage as he saw Bebop holding his snout in pain. "Bebop, you idiot! Grr... that's it! You're done!" He snarled, lifting his massive gun and taking aim at the sisters. The crowd erupted into screams as the police raised their weapons.

"Freeze!"

"He's gonna kill them!"

"Where's the hero's!?"

CRUNCH

.

.

.

"Eh?" Rocksteady muttered, staring in confusion at his now mangled gun, the barrel snapped clean in half. All that remained was the handle and a jagged piece of the barrel. Around him, the crowd murmured in awe, their eyes locked on the figure that had just dashed out of nowhere, jaws wide open, and bit through the gun like it was nothing.

The two sisters, safely in the arms of police officers, gazed at their savior in astonishment. The older sister, having seen it all, watched as the figure—RipJaws—stood tall, his menacing teeth glinting as he spat out the shattered metal piece.

Turning toward the hulking Rhino man, RipJaws rasped, "Who needs a hero when you've got jaws that can rip through steel?"

The crowd let out a hushed murmur at his words.

Bebop, now recovered from Tsuyu's earlier attack, pressed his fingers to the visor of his glasses, which glowed with an ominous red light as he studied RipJaws. "Now who the heck are you supposed to be, snort?" Bebop asked, his eyes trailing over RipJaws' scaly form before stopping at the familiar green dial on his chest. His snout wrinkled in recognition. "Wait a minute... you're one of those goofy vigilantes all over the news!"

RipJaws tensed for a moment, trying to figure out the best way to act. He glanced briefly at the police, who were quickly escorting the two sisters to safety.

"Name's RipJaws," he growled. "And yeah, my friends are on their way. I suggest you leave now." His voice carried a clear threat, but internally, he was pleading. Please buy it!

Rocksteady growled in frustration and threw the broken gun to the ground, stomping toward the fish-like hero. "We ain't leaving the boss behind!"

RipJaws eyes narrowed. "Boss?"

Before he could react, a pair of massive arms suddenly wrapped around him from behind, squeezing him tight. Bebop, moving with surprising speed, had grabbed him, pinning RipJaws' arms against his sides as he pulled him back, pressing his back against Bebop's broad chest.

Rocksteady grinned, cracking his knuckles as he advanced toward RipJaws. "Heh, this'll be good. Keep him still, comrade Bebop."

Bebop's laughter rumbled through RipJaws' body. "He ain't goin' nowhere! Ahahaha!"

RipJaws gritted his teeth as his mind raced. He looked down at the thick arms restraining him, and an idea formed. 'Control, Izuku. Remember your training! Don't bite his arm off!'

Rocksteady aimed his fist towards the fish's head, intending to crush his skull here and now. Bepop seeing his partner taking his time to line up the shot rolled his eyes.

Rocksteady lined up his fist, aiming for RipJaws' head. But Bebop, growing impatient, rolled his eyes. "Will you just hit him already—SQUEEEEEEAL!"

Bebop's high-pitched scream echoed throughout the block as RipJaws sank his teeth into the villain's left forearm, blood instantly leaking from the wound. Bebop shook his arm violently, trying to fling RipJaws off, but the fish-man's grip only tightened.

Rocksteady lunged, fists raised to crush RipJaws, but in one swift motion, RipJaws whipped his tail upward and launched himself over Bebop's head. As he flipped, his tail caught Rocksteady under the chin with a devastating blow, sending the rhino mutant crashing to the ground with a loud THUD. Rocksteady's eyes rolled back, his enormous frame lying unconscious.

For a moment, everything went still. Bebop, RipJaws, and the entire crowd stared in stunned silence at Rocksteady's unmoving body. Then, the crowd erupted in loud cheers..

"Yeah! Haha"

"Go RipJaws!"

"Teach 'em a lesson!"

"Rocksteady? Hey, Rocksteady, wake up!" Bebop's breathing quickened as he realized he had no backup. RipJaws released his jaw from Bebop's bloody arm and faced the remaining villain, raising his fists. But before he could strike, Bebop dropped to the ground, scooting back on his butt.

"Look, fishy, I don't want any problems! Don't hurt me—please!"

RipJaws tilted his head, confused. Well, that was easy... Now, where's the boss?

He stepped forward, grabbing Bebop by his jacket and lifting him up close to his sharp teeth. "Your boss—where is he? Who is he? What's his quirk?"

Bebop's whole body shook, his eyes wide as he stared at his own blood dripping from RipJaws' fangs. "I ain't no snitch! I'd rather rot in prison than rat out the boss!"

Before RipJaws could press him further, the sound of a loud bang echoed from the bank's entrance. The door slammed open, and a wave of terrified hostages poured out, fleeing toward the police.

RipJaws released Bebop, watching the last hostage sprint away before a dark shadow loomed in the doorway. The light inside the bank obscured the figure, but the villain's massive silhouette cast an intimidating shadow on the street.

"They'll do, pig," said a soft-spoken but sinister voice. "That'll do."

Bebop's eyes lit up. "Boss!"

RipJaws tensed, taking a step toward the doorway. A real villain boss, he thought, feeling a shiver run down his spine. What kind of monster are we dealing with? The figure stepped forward, slowly revealing more of his form, his shadow making him seem towering and imposing.

But as he stepped fully into the light, RipJaws' eyes widened in disbelief. Standing before him was a bear-like figure with yellowish fur and a bright red shirt. The creature barely stood 4 feet tall.

RipJaws blinked. "Wait... That's the boss?"

The little bear quirked an eyebrow. "I know when a job's gone south. Bebop, we're surrendering. We can't escape without Rocksteady." The bear then looked directly into RipJaws' glossy fish eyes. "But don't get too comfortable, fish. You've made a terrible enemy today—me! The mighty villain POOH!"

"That's not your villian name- Oooh, hehe, yeah, tell 'em, Boss!" Bebop snorted in agreement, clearly nervous.

RipJaws rightfully responded as any sane man would be when being threatened by a 3ft tall bear with no pants on.

RipJaws stared at the bear, struggling to process what was happening. Then, without warning, he burst into laughter, his deep voice echoing across the street. "PFFFAHAHA! You're the boss?! You're giving mutants a bad name, little guy!"

The crowd and police couldn't hold back their own chuckles, watching the scene unfold.

The bear—Pooh—didn't seem amused. His eyes narrowed dangerously. "I'd stop laughing if I were you, unless you want to be turned into fish chum."

But RipJaws just laughed harder. "PFFHAAH—Huff—HA!"

Then, suddenly, RipJaws' laughter turned into gasps for breath. "Huff... Can't... puff... breathe..." His hand instinctively flew to his throat as he staggered backward.

The crowd began to murmur in confusion.

"Woah what's happening?"

"Is that bear's quirk suffocation or something?"

"I thought it was a costume?"

"Does he need water? No that wouldn't make sense, why would he be out here without it"

Seizing the opportunity, Pooh raised his hands dramatically, as if controlling RipJaws' breathing. "That's right!" he declared. "My quirk lets me suffocate anyone!"

"Huh? Boss, that's not—" Bebop began to protest.

"Shut up!" Pooh snapped.

The crowd and police dispersed as RipJaws stumbled backward. Pooh, Bebop, and Rocksteady followed, with Bebop dragging Rocksteady along. Pooh kept up his charade, reveling in his deception.

RipJaws fell to his knees, struggling to breathe. The lack of water triggered his instincts. Desperate, he opened his jaw as wide as possible and bit into a nearby sewer lid, tearing it out of the ground before spitting it aside.

Realizing what RipJaws was about to do, Pooh acted quickly. "Bebop, stop him!"

Bebop dropped Rocksteady and leaped toward RipJaws, only for Pooh's smile to fade. Instead of capturing RipJaws, Bebop delivered a rapid spinning heel kick to the back of the fish man's skull.

Pooh watched in horror as RipJaws' dazed body fell limp, disappearing into the darkness and stench of the sewer system.

.

.

.

"You gotta forgive me, dawg!" Bebop pleaded.

"Shut up, pig..." Pooh's eyes remained fixed on the sewer hole as he realized his only escape plan had vanished. Sighing deeply, he turned to his bumbling companion. "Bebop, do you have your knife?"

"Yes, boss," Bebop confirmed, pulling out his massive blade. "I'll protect you, boss!"

The police aimed their guns, now that there were no hostages and they could close in. But their focus shifted when they heard distant screaming.

"AHHHHHHH"

SMASH

The ground shattered as Tetrax landed with Uraraka clinging to his back. In his arms was the Pro Hero Backdraft.

"R-release me! You're insane!" Backdraft shouted.

Ignoring the panicking hero, Tetrax's eyes narrowed, his anger palpable. "Where's Iz—RipJaws?" he demanded, his voice carrying over the chaos. He surveyed the trembling villains: Pooh hiding behind Bebop's thick leg, Bebop shaking and holding his knife defensively.

Tetrax stomped his foot forward, encasing Bebop in a thin layer of crystal up to his neck. "I'll ask one last time. Where is RipJaws?"

"H-he went down there!" Pooh stammered, pointing toward the sewer hole, his fear evident as he glanced at his encased bodyguard.

Tetrax grunted in acknowledgment and gently dropped Backdraft. "Your help is no longer needed. Thank you for your cooperation."

"Cooperation!?"

"P-please don't hurt us! Especially me!" Bebop begged. "Don't be mad I knocked him out!"

Pooh stared at Bepop in pure disbelief at his idiocety.

"You did what!?" Tetrax roared, stepping face-to-face with Bebop, who was now trembling uncontrollably.

Uraraka tapped Tetrax on the shoulder. "Ehh, RipJaws is hurt! We need to help him!" She glanced at the villains encased in crystal with disgust. "Besides, they're not going anywhere."

Tetrax sighed, knowing she was right. He headed toward the sewer hole, and everyone watched as he and Uraraka jumped in, disappearing into the darkness. The only sign they had been there was the crystal barrier sealing the hole and preventing any unwanted followers.

"What happened?" Rocksteady groaned, rubbing his head as he sat on the ground. He looked up to see his friends encased in crystal and multiple police officers aiming their guns at him.

Frustrated, Pooh decided to end the charade. "ENOUGH! NO MORE DISGUISES!" With a dramatic gesture, he ripped off his bear head, revealing a scarred face and balding blond hair. He wiped off his goofy purple glasses and glared at the crowd and police with piercing golden eyes.

"Look into my eyes, you are all now under control of the great SUBLIMINO!"

 _____________________________________________

"What happened?" Izuku asked groggily, his head pounding. "Gah, what is that smell?!" He pinched his nose, his eyes watering from the stench.

He looked around at the dark, damp environment and quickly realized where he was. "The sewer? Oh man…"

Spotting a faint light from a nearby water drain, Izuku noticed a ladder beside it. He waded through the shallow water to the ladder and climbed up with great effort. As he pushed the heavy steel lid aside, he peered out to see the orange sky as the sun neared the horizon.

Climbing up the ladder he made his way to a sewer lid, with a great amount of effort he forced the heavy steal lid up. His eyes slightly blurring from a possible concussion, peeping his head out of the hole he noticed the orange sky as the sun was close to setting.

"Good thing I woke up just now. It would have been pitch black down there," he muttered, relieved. "Where's Uraraka and Tetrax? Are they looking for me?"

He glanced back at the dark sewer system and shivered before emerging onto the streets. It seemed to be a quiet suburb with few people around.

BZZZ BZZZZ BZZZ

Izuku's phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, he saw it was Uraraka calling. He answered with relief. "Hello?"

"ARE YOU OKAY?!" Uraraka's loud voice shrieked in a panic, Izuku having to pull the phone away from his ear due to the volume.

"Y-yeah I'm fine Uraraka"

"oh thank god! Where are you?"

Looking around Izuku saw a street sign near a small playground area, getting there with a small jog he quickly gave her the street name.

"Alright, just wait there. We'll be there in a minute! Hey, what're you doin—"

"Do not move" Tetrax's deep voice came in, and boy did he sound mad.

"I won't! I'll stay right here!" Izuku yelped, hanging up before Tetrax could say more. "Phew…"

As he looked around the playground, he noticed a small child standing under a tree, crying.

"Mr. Mittens please come down!"

'A cat?' Izuku thought, bemused. Though he was tempted to ignore it, he felt guilty just standing by. How could a hero ignore a child in distress?

But hearing the child's loud cries once again, Izuku felt extremely guilty just standing by and doing nothing. After all, how can a hero just stand by while children cry?

Besides he still has a couple aliens that aren't public Vigilantes yet, popping up the dial and twisting until the familiar silhouette showed itself.

FLASHHH

"Feedback! Oh yeahh, feeling good" Feedback said as he admires his form, glancing up he made his way to the young child, a boy apon closer inspection. "Hey kid what's up?"

The boy turned, startled, but then looked at Feedback with awe. "Sniff… My cat! He disappeared a while ago, and I've been looking every day! I found him, but he's stuck up the tree!"

Looking up, Izuku saw the cat, 'Mr. Mittens,' lazily perched on a thick branch. With no clear way to climb up, Feedback squatted and then leapt high into the air, landing next to the cat on the branch.

"Here, kitty kitty," Feedback said, reaching for the confused and slightly scared cat. "Good boy, come here, oh ain't you just a lil' coochie coo—GAHH!"

Feedback yelped as the cat's claws attacked him. He jumped down and handed the cat to the boy.

"Mr. Mittens!" The boy hugged his cat tightly. "I missed you so much! Thank you, Mr.!"

"No problem, kid," Feedback said, trying to hide his pain. "You should go home now. It's getting late."

"Okay...wait who're you? Are you a hero?"

Feedback smirked. "Name's Feedback, kid. And yeah, I guess I kinda am a hero."

"Is that right?" A new feminine voice asked.

Izuku turned, and his heart sank as he took in the sight of the new arrival. Standing before him was one of Japan's top heroes...Mirko.

With her powerful build, rabbit-like ears, and a white leotard that showcased her muscular thighs and tan skin, she was a vision of strength and grace.

Izuku's eyes widened in awe and fear. Mirko's reputation as one of the top heroes made her a legendary figure. His heart raced, both from the residual fear of their situation and the thrill of meeting a hero he admired. He couldn't believe she was here, and his admiration was tinged with absolute fear.
