Chapter 136 - 7-8

Chapter 7: Constellation (Legacy)

When looking into the night sky, one may see shapes and pictures made up of individual stars. Constellations, while always being fun to look for, serve their purpose for those on our planet. Ursa Major and Minor show us the positioning of Polaris, revealing which way is cardinal North, and thus providing a compass to travelers of the night. Constellations also help us to track the seasons, with the zodiac rotating through the night sky…

It is interesting to know that these constellations, made up of stars that are separated by miles and miles of space, still work together to make up this ancient map. Perhaps they have touched briefly, passing on their light and heat for the slimmest of moments. Perhaps there is a reason they fall into their positions…

It is a wonder to think about, even as few as three stars can serve to be a guiding light.

Nine should be like a second sun…

->*<-

Loud bangs echoed around the newly restored Musutafu city street. While it wasn't uncommon for construction to happen in the city, it was normally during repairs from villain attacks.

But Jakuu Street had been finished a week prior. What could someone be building?

The answer, of course, happened to be plain if anyone walked over to Miss Kitayama's Preschool. There, they could catch glimpses of several people rapidly putting up different pieces of metal and quirk resistant plastics.

Among the five, a young man with green hair and a young woman with brunette hair kept a little quieter than normal, only listening to instructions and carrying out tasks, sharing whispers when they got a break.

Ochako Uraraka's mind had cooled down pretty quickly after All Mi- Mr. Yagi said he wanted Midoriya to be the next symbol of peace. It seemed so out of reach for anyone, and for Izuku to be told it would be him?

Mind blown.

Mind you, Uraraka had no qualms with Midoriya being the next number one hero. It was cool to know that he was picked specifically. But it would no doubt be difficult to get there.

Then All Might dropped the next bomb…

*Flashback*

"I deem you worthy of my power. My quirk will be yours to inherit."

Ochako shakily sipped on a cup of iced peach tea as Izuku stared at his neighbor. They were sitting in the back room of Mr. Yagi's shop, where the man was looking upon Midoriya with a mirthful spark in his eye.

"I-inherit?"

The blonde man nodded. "People always ask, what quirk does the symbol of peace have? It's always super strength or invulnerability. I tend to avoid the question, because I need the public to believe I am a natural-born hero. If they knew the truth, well…"

Ochako blinked as the man bowed his head.

"I wasn't born with this power. It is a torch, passed from hero to hero. A stockpile of their strengths, hopes, and dreams. The true name of my quirk, is One For All."

"One… For All…"

There was a buzzing in her head as the name struck her heart, as if many eyes were looking her up and down, measuring her future for themselves.

"Mr. Ya- All Might. I don't want to be a downer, but what happened to these other holders?" Ochako spoke hoarsely.

The blonde man bowed his head. "They passed this power on for the sake of defeating a ruthless villain. Only I remain."

"That means-"

Mr. Yagi nodded. "They were all killed."

Izuku gulped. "K-killed?"

The man sighed. "One For All has a complicated history. Primarily, it is the antithesis to All For One, a villain with the power to give and take quirks as he pleased. The war against him is a long one, spanning back to the dawn of quirks. I am the end of that story."

Ochako blinked. "You killed him…"

"I did. At least, I believe I did. He has been known to live through impossible odds… but in the end, it was my fist that was pulled out if his crushed skull…"

The two teens seemed horrified by the thought of a man having his head crushed by the number one hero.

"H-how-"

"How could I kill him? This was a man who had lived for hundreds of years. He killed tens of thousands, brainwashed those he wanted as obedient slaves… he milled the woman I saw as a second mother right before my eyes… it was either him, or the world." The man spoke, and his eyes held no regret for what he had done.

"Then… why me? Why do you need a successor?"

"My time as the symbol of peace is coming to an end. In the battle against All For One, I sustained massive injuries which left me like this. I can only do hero work for about three hours a day." The man raised the hem of his shirt, showing off a gnarled black and purple scar. "I grow more tired each day… but this world still needs a symbol. That symbol is you… Midoriya."

Midoriya sputtered. "But why? I mean, I'm a nobody, a useless piece of nothing that's just trying to get by! How could I-"

Mr. Yagi sighed. "My boy, you know that isn't true. I have watched you grow since I moved to this shop… You have dealt with bullies, threats, and physical abuse at the hands of your peers. Still, you have never lost your spark… even now, you ran into danger, to save a boy who made your life hell. That drive is what tells me that you are the one. That attitude is what proves you're the one."

"B-but I didn't… my feet just-"

Mr. Yagi placed a hand on the young man's shoulder. "Every great hero, young and old, can recall just how their story began. They saw others suffering. They watched as people were hurt, and even while knowing they too were in danger, their feet moved on their own. That, my boy, is what has happened to you."

Midoriya sniffed before choking out a sob and grabbing onto Yagi's shirt. Ochako watched the exchange and couldn't help cry a bit as well. Mr. Yagi knew how to prove a point…

"My boy… will you hear this old mans request? Will you be my successor?"

Izuku nodded. "I will. I will!"

"Good." Yagi smiled. "That's a relief…"

Ochako leapt to her feet. "You can't do that. You can't just pass your power on and leave it all behind for Izu- Midoriya to pick up!"

Toshinori raised his hands. "Now now, let's not get too angry please. I can't let go of this legacy even if i tried. My name is sunken into this stone, and it will not be erased until the day I die."

Ochako huffed, but relented and sat down. "Okay… Go on…"

Toshinori nodded. "The biggest reason that I was drawn to young Midoriya is because he reminded me of myself. But beyond that, he has seen the side of our society that people forget about. The drive that inspired me is one of a true hero, who never gives up so long as there is somebody to save. I will not pass on for some time, miss… but, I want to make sure that the time I have can go into training my successor."

The girl was silent, and Toshinori continued, taking one of her hands in his own.

"Miss Uraraka. There is a reason why you are here too. Despite only knowing young Midoriya for a few meager weeks… you have instantly jumped in to defend him. He needs friends like that. Friends like you."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that if you wish, you will share this burden. You will become a hero and fight along side Midoriya. You two may disagree in the future, but I know that your friendship will break through those issues when either of you are in trouble."

"I-I-I-" Ochako blinked, stunned by the mans sincere voice. "But why me?"

"You may not have grown up quirkless, but you have grown up with knowledge of poverty. Of property damage. Of repairs. If Young Midoriya is to stand as a barrier for the greatest villains of the future, he will need someone there to pull people out of the way. To pull him back when he leaps too far. I know that in your heart, you have always wanted to save people. Your Mother and Father told me that for a fact."

Ochako felt tears welling in her eyes as the man looked at her. "Would you help my successor become the number one hero? Would you stand next to him and give the support he needs when the world starts to crumble? Will you share his burden?"

"I-... Yes. I will."

Mr. Yagi smiled. "Good. Then I think you two should plan out some more times to meet. You'll be bound by more than a playground now."

Ochako sniffed as the man sat down before scooching over to Izuku's side. "Looks like we'll be meeting after the construction is done after all."

Izuku chuckled and wiped his face with one arm. "Yeah, guess so."

Mr. Yagi smiled. "You two will be great, I know it."

"Thank you Mr. Yagi."

The number one hero nodded. "If you want to get into UA, or any other hero school, you will need to train. We can start with basics, so from now until the playground construction is done, I want you to-"

*End Flashback*

Ochako had spent that night at the Midoriya apartment. They had both been pretty quiet as they ate dinner. Inko had to work night shift, so she bid goodbye and then left for the night.

And they had talked.

Ochako learned a lot about Izuku that night. They had talked and talked until they fell asleep in the sitting room. After she went home, she took one of the business notebooks from their stock and began to write down notes and plans.

Plans for the hero course. Costume designs- more than the one she had just thrown together. Notes on All Might's Quirk. Notes on Izuku.

Izuku.

Izuku had scars on his back, the result of quirk use from his classmates.

Izuku had a stutter, forced into his development from fear of speaking.

Izuku always felt cold—icy cold. He hated the winter and the summer just the same because the warmth of summer was a lie.

Izuku had scars on his wrists from where he tried to end everything when he was fifteen, after his mother found out about the bullying.

He never told anyone.

Izuku trusted nobody. Nobody except those he did trust. Those who earned his trust. Those who saved him.

Izuku trusted Ochako…

Izuku loved too much. He loved until it hurt him, and then he kept on loving. He couldn't help but want to save people. He couldn't help but always talk about being a hero.

Izuku had the sun in his eyes. When he spoke about his passions, it glowed brightly, making his emerald irises sparkle. When he spoke about what made him angry, it spat out fire, sparking and spitting and burning…

Izuku was something different. Something that Ochako had never seen…

It scared her and excited her at the same time.

She couldn't wait to grow with him.

->*<-

Izuku held his tongue between his lips as he tightened an adamantine crossbolt into position, finishing the first platform of the playground. Stepping back, he looked at his work, grinning from ear to ear as he thought of the reaction Miss Kitayama would give when she finally saw.

"Hey! Nice work there Midoriya!"

Izuku turned to see Asahi Uraraka standing with a water bottle.

"Why don't you come get a drink? You've been working pretty hard."

The green haired teen accepted the water with a smile. "Thank you sir. I didn't think it would be this straightforward."

"Playsets are pretty easy nowadays, especially with quirk that lighten the load." The man nodded. "Listen, I don't want to beat around the bush too much, but the thing is my little mochi has been quiet since your meeting a few weeks ago. What happened?"

Izuku bit his inner cheek. It wasn't like he could say the full truth now, right?

' Although I could…'

"Sir. There was a villain attack out on the street. The cleanup finished just last week. But we got caught in the middle of it."

Asahi frowned. "She didn't tell us…"

Izuku scratched the back of his head. "Well, she probably didn't want me to get in trouble. There was this slime guy who was trying to take over my classmates body, and so I ended up running in to save him…"

The man took a long drink from his water bottle, before shaking his head. "Stupid thing to do, kid."

Izuku blushed. "Yeah… I just- I couldn't stand there and do nothing…"

"That's pretty heroic of you, kid. Was it smart? No. But at the same time, I can't say that it wasn't brave."

Izuku nodded. "Yeah… I got an earful from my mom already…"

"I bet you did." The man chuckled. "Well, I'll talk to Ochako about it, see what happens. Maybe thats just what she needs."

Izuku nodded. "If it's okay Mr. Uraraka sir, I was wondering if I might erm…"

"Hm? If you might what?"

"Well… I was wondering if I could ask Ochako to get coffee again?"

The man narrowed his eyes. "My daughter is more than capable of making her own decisions now."

Izuku gave a squeak at the cold tone, feeling his heart stop as the man glared.

"But I appreciate that you took the time to ask me." The warm smile caused Izuku to finally breathe. "You should see the look on your face! That was priceless!"

"DAD! ARE YOU PICKING ON MIDORIYA AGAIN?"

The man froze up as Ochako walked over. "Erm, no sweetheart. We were just having a nice chat and-"

"Oh, a nice chat about what?"

"Well, you see… I was- well I was-" Ashahi stuttered as he found his eyes focused on his daughters frown.

' My baby's heart has been stolen!'

"Ugh… just save it." The girl huffed. "Midoriya, if he gives you trouble, you can come right to me, got it?"

"Oh! Er, he wasn't giving me any trouble Uraraka!" Izuku shook his head. "He was just letting me know that I was overworking myself and-"

"Midoriya, are you lying to me?" Ochako pursed her lips.

The green haired boy gave a squeak, before trying to say something, only to have no sound come out of his mouth.

The girl sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. "I appreciate you trying to defend my dad, but seriously. He's just doing all of this to give you a hard time!"

Izuku closed his mouth and looked down at the ground, his face heating up as he felt Ochako's hand on his shoulder.

"Midoriya… I know you want to be a hero. You're going to have to stand up for yourself one day."

"I know… just… ...."

"What was that?"

"People are scary…" Izuku frowned. "I just get… nervous…:

Ochako sighed. "Yeah… they can be… And I know you do." She looked up at her dad. "Some people should try to remember that."

The man gulped. "I'll em… go help your mother with the next part."

The man walked away, leaving Izuku and Ochako alone.

"Why do you do that?"

The girl blinked. "Do what?"

"Defend me like that. You got really closed off ever since our talk with All- Mr. Yagi… and I dunno. I feel like you're treating me differently because of it."

"Midoriya, I'm just trying to get to know you as well as I can. Sometimes, I have issues with people, since I'm always super bubbly and I can interrupt them a lot. I get quiet when I know I need to listen, and learn."

"But, it's just because of All- Mr. Yagi. I can't watch you get forced into being my friend…"

Ochako stared at the green haired teen, before giving a huff. "Is it- is it really so hard for you to actually think you're likeable?"

Izuku bit his lip. "I told you a lot that night…"

"That's one of the reasons I'm so serious about this." Uraraka spoke. "You've been through so much, and I really don't think it's healthy for you to take more on your shoulders."

Izuku sighed. "That's still just Mr. Yagi talking…"

"Izuku."

His head snapped up as she said his name. "Y-you-"

"I mean it. I'm going to be by your side, and it will be as your friend." Ochako spoke sternly. "I'm going to make sure that you don't just collapse. I'm going to make sure that you can heal. Do you understand?"

Izuku blinked, before nodding. "I-I understand…"

Ochako nodded. "Good. Now, you wanna start on the next part while my parents take a break?"

"They're already done?"

"My folks work fast, Izuku." Ochako smiled. "Come on. We can talk about coffee when we take our next break."

Izuku let out a grunt as he was pulled into the air, with Uraraka being so ready to work that she didn't even notice she was using her quirk on him.

' I like how this feels… being weightless…'

->*<-

From the depths of the void, they watched, staring out through the piercing blue windows of their host.

"Nine has picked a good successor."

"He is week."

"Come now second, he is a boy!"

"Exactly! Why are we entrusting the quirk to him when he is so… underdeveloped?"

A man with white hair spoke, silencing the chatter of the others that were present. "One For All pulls at its holder, showing them who will use it to soar to greater heights. I have no doubt that eight felt the same pull."

"But it is a child, first! A babe!"

"And what were we?"

"We were warriors!"

"YOU were warriors." FIrst spoke. "I was a captive. The rest of us were victims… Eight is the champion. If he sees something in this boy-"

"First, Eight's victory was brought about by sheer luck!"

"Quiet third." First spoke. "My point is that we have all had our time. We have all made our choices. It is Eights turn to decide. Is something bothering you, seventh?"

The only woman in the group frowned. "I neither agree or disagree. The boy is much like Toshinori, but… The side of me that has been a mother says that this is wrong."

"All For One was defeated." A bald man gritted out. "The boy is being handed fame on a silver platter. With what we've seen of his life, I say he deserves it!"

"Defeated, but not killed." A man wearing a high collared jacket spoke. "We never found a body…"

"I believe that we are at an impasse. Three of us say yes, three no, and one remains undecided."

"Then the choice is Eight's, and he has cast his vote already."

The first stood from his seat, a crumbling chair carved from stone, and looked up into the void. "Izuku Midoriya will be the Ninth holder of One For All. It has been decided."

The vestiges looked up into the void, only to squint as a massive shining orb of power appeared. First smiled.

"It does my memory well to see the power so happy… I believe that Eight has made a good choice."

The other vestiges nodded as they were swallowed by the orb.

"We'll just have to wait and see."

Stars live for thousands and thousands of years, burning and collapsing and fueling new stars. Onward and onward the cycle continues.

So it has been, so it shall be.

Chapter 8: Moonlight (Lantern)

Stars never stop growing. Not until they die, and even then… In those final moments, they are an explosion of light and beauty.

Stars truly… will never stop growing.

There is always more to learn.

->*<-

Izuku groaned as he leaned his head back. He already knew all of the course material, so why did he have to study for finals?

It was annoying.

Even more annoying was the fact that it wouldn't matter how much studying he did. The teachers would still mark his grades down below average, just because he was quirkless.

Stupid discriminatory quirkist idiodic-

Knock came from his door, causing him to snap from his mental hate spiral.

"Izuku! Sweetie, that friend of yours is here!"

Oh, right, Uraraka was visiting today.

Izuku looked down and realized he was still in his All Might pajamas. With a squeak, he ran to his dresser and leapt into a pair of pants. He was just about to put a shirt on when the door opened behind him.

"Hey Midoooooooooo-"

Izuku turned his head to see Ochako staring at his bare torso. Her eyes glazed over as her brain bluescreened.

"Uraraka I-"

"I'llclosethedoorsoyoucangetreadyokayjustletmeknow!"

The door quickly snapped shut, leaving both teens a mess as they struggled to go over what had just happened. After a minute, Izuku opened his door, fully clothed.

"Sorry about that…"

"It's okay." The girl mumbled. "Are you good to hang out?"

"That's what we had planned, right?"

The girl nodded. "I thought we could get coffee again and… talk about UA?"

Izuku scratched the back of his head. "Yeah. That sounds great!"

"Okay! Good! Are you good to go or-"

Izuku nodded. "Let me just tell my mom, and we can be on our way."

Ochako nodded and walked with Izuku to the front door of the apartment.

"Hey, Mom," the green-haired teen spoke. "We're going to get coffee, be back in an hour or so?"

Inko smiled from her place at the kitchen table. "You two take your time. Enjoy yourselves!"

"Thank you, Mrs. Midoriya. I'll be sure that he gets back safely." Ochako smiled.

"Someone has to." The woman chuckled. "Have a good time!"

The two teens smiled and walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind them. Inko stared at the door for a minute before her eyes began spraying tears.

"OHHHHH! MY IZUKU HAS A FRIEEEEND!"

->*<-

"So I was thinking."

Izuku blinked as Ochako fell into step beside him. "Hm?"

"Well, remember how we were talking about how you have to stand up for yourself more?"

Izuku blushed. "Oh… yeah?"

"Well, you stood up to that Bakugo kid at your school, right?"

Izuku shrugged. "Well… I knew he was going to say something about you."

"Mr. Yagi said you got a medal in boxing, and then broke a kid's nose."

"It was my nose that was broken, didn't feel too good…"

"A big kid. Yagi said that your mom called him to go to the school when she was stuck at work."

Izuku bit his lip. "That was… after my instructor told me to do it. Had me drill the moves until it was burned into my mind. That kid grabbed my wrists and-"

"You flipped him onto his back and broke his nose."

Izuku blushed. "Sensei said self-defense was the first step in learning how to box…"

Ochako grabbed his hands. "Don't you see though? You can stand up for yourself! You've already done it!"

Izuku grimaced. "Not really… every time that I've really stood up for myself has been… practised. It's typically stuff I know is coming. Stuff that I can prepare for."

"And when you stood up to that blonde guy?"

"I just really didn't want him to say anything to you…"

Ochako hummed as they finally made it to Mandalo street. "Well… I think we can still work with-"

"Hey hey you two! Got the time to give an old man a hand?"

Ochako and Izuku looked up to see Mr. Yagi standing next to a stack of boxes. "I might have overexerted myself on my morning run…"

Izuku smiled and walked over to help the man as Ochako followed up behind him, using her quirk to lighten each box.

"Thanks, Uraraka."

"No problem." The girl smiled. "What's in here Mr. Yagi?"

The blonde man smiled and ushered them into his shop. "Miss Kitayama brought her kids over last week to give a thank you for the playground. I have cards for you and your parents, and you as well young Midoriya."

Ochako's eyes sparkled as she was handed three oversized thank you cards with a lot of messy names printed on in different colors of crayon. "So cute!!!"

Mr. Yagi chuckled. "I thought so too. I put mine on the wall for them while they were here, see?"

He gestured to his trophy wall, where a card decorated with a lot of glitter was put up next to a picture of Izuku holding his boxing medal.

"ADORABLEEEEE!"

Mr. Yagi nodded. "Well, the kids also had some complaints. See, they liked all of the 'cartoons' I had, but were a bit bummed that there were no snacks. So, I put in a few orders and voila!"

"A candy counter Mr. Yagi?" Izuku blinked. "I mean… maybe it'll bring in some more middle schoolers and teens."

"Oh, but it's not just any kind of candy, young Midoriya. These candies are the oldest known kind on the planet! With recipes surviving hundreds of years! We've got lemon drops, root beer barrels, gummy sharks, gummy bears, chocolate-covered pretzels, Soda Bottles, bottle caps, and Necco Wafers. Even peach rings!"

"Peach rings?" Ochako perked up. "I used to love those when I was a kid!"

"Here, take a bag." Mr. Yagi smiled, opening one box. "And let me know if you ever need extras. Anything for you, young Midoriya?"

"I'll just share with Uraraka, thanks." Izuku chuckled. "Lot of sugar in these older candies."

"Ah… that sweet flavor of artificial peaches…" Uraraka giggled. "Brings back memories of when dad was still working on his certifications…"

Izuku tentatively took a candy and popped it in his mouth.

"Wow. That is sweet." He winced. "But… It's good. I dunno how many of these I could eat at a time…"

"Should we find out?" Uraraka smirked.

"Now, now you two, while I'm glad to give you some of these candies, please don't go overboard. You need to focus on your training!"

Izuku and Uraraka paused before letting out sighs in unison and putting the candy away. "Thank you for the gift, Mr. Yagi."

"Of course. I'll see you two at the gym tomorrow, correct?"

"You can count on it!" Izuku nodded.

"So long as work is dull, I'll be good to go!"

"Very well. The two of you enjoy your date." Mr. Yagi smiled.

"It's not a date!" Both spoke, blushes covering their faces.

"Of course. My apologies."

->*<-

"Maybe you should just practice?"

"Practice what?"

"Standing up for yourself." Ochako hummed, sipping on an iced green boba tea. "Shee, I fink dat you are better defending othersh… *Gulp* sorry. But as I was saying, you seem to be better at defending others on the spot. Maybe we just need to figure out how to get you in that headspace?"

Izuku sighed. "Uraraka, I'm really grateful for your help, but I'm just not a very confrontational person."

"Hmmmm…" Ochako sipped some more of her drink before blinking and snapping her fingers. "I got it! Okay, situation time. Someone tells you that you're a useless waste of space."

"I curl up tight and do my best to be as small as possible to give them a harder target?"

"WRONG!" Ochako yelled before giggling and shaking her head. "Okay. How about this one? Someone just told your mom that she was a useless waste of space."

"I hunt them down and feed their body to the migratory hammerhead sharks on the eastern coast."

Ochako grinned. "SEE? You just did it, Midoriya!"

"Nobody insults my mom." The green-haired boy frowned.

"Okay… let's try this one more time, but let me explain something to you first." Ochako sat down on a bench and gestured for Izuku to join her.

"Someone insults you, tells you that you're useless. That you're worthless. Now. You are your mother's child. By insulting you, this guy is insulting your mom too. What do you say to that?"

"At least my mother loves me enough to teach me that the shoes that guy is wearing went out of style thirty years ago?"

"..." Ochako blinked. "Well, it's a start."

Izuku slumped. "Sorry… I'm not good at this…"

"NO! Midoriya, you're doing fine. See, at least you got off a sort of burn?"

That just made the young man slump lower.

"Look, how about this? We'll talk about something else. About UA! Like I said earlier. Every so often, I'll give you something out of the blue, and you respond. Think of somebody you hold in a high regard and- well, just think that I'm insulting them too."

Izuku thought about it for a bit before nodding. "Alright then. UA."

Uraraka nodded. "So. I made a few potential costume designs if you wanted to look at them? The big one is mine, since I put more thought into it than just a simple spandex suit…"

Izuku blinked as the girl took out a notebook and flipped a few pages in.

In his opinion, the costume was really well designed. It looked like she had left a lot of room open for a designer's addons, and there were even some notes on her quirk.

"This is really good, Uraraka!"

"I thought you'd say that. You must like looking at such a skintight costume, huh, perv?"

Izuku blanched. "W-what? No! I was-"

Uraraka frowned. "Midoriya~ It was an act. What would you say in response?"

The greenette froze, before narrowing his eyes. "A perv? You know if you really wanted attention this bad, you could have let your latest bed buddy take the condom off before you started riding him."

Ochako's jaw dropped, and Izuku stared. "Was… that too much?"

"That was brilliant…" Ochako whispered. "Did-did you practice that?"

Izuku scratched the back of his head. "No… I just thought of Mr. Yagi. Well… he said I can become a great hero, right? And he's always said that my analysis was impressive on its own…"

"Midoriya. If you can say something like that in response to anything that gets thrown at you, you'll be as good as gold!"

Izuku blushed. "I dunno…"

"Come on! That was amazing! Here, we should start doing this to each other. Here, take a peach ring. Now hit me!"

"Erm… your cheeks are pretty chubby. Guess there's a reason your parents call you a mochi?"

Ochako froze, causing Izuku to gulp.

"How did you know that they call me 'mochi'?"

"Your dad said it when we were doing construction…" Izuku shook. "Did I go too far?"

Ochako shrugged. "I dunno! My baby face is one of my most endearing qualities~"

Izuku sighed. ' Thank the stars that she isn't mad at me…'

"Alright! My turn!"

"We're still going?"
