Chapter 161 - 9-

Chapter 9: Into the Inferno! Part 1

Ochako, Hitoshi and Jirou blinked. "Uh, what was that?" Ochako tilted her head as she processed the jumbled words.

"I'm an alien, okay?" Mina stated, watching as her friend's reactions ranged from shock to absolute annoyance.

Hitoshi just sighed as he got up. "Ha-Ha. Very funny. I'm gonna go back to my nap. Seriously…"

Izumi grabbed his wrist, which he attempted to pull away. "Hitoshi-kun. We're serious. Just… Just look at this." Izumi fiddled with the omnitrix before transforming once again. This time, she reappeared in a form similar to Mina's, only with a purplish skin tone, without horns and with white sclera. That got Hitoshi to shut up. "The device on my wrist has a database of extraterrestrial DNA, and it allows me to transform into those I have unlocked. The reason I can transform into this one is because it scanned Mina's DNA when we met."

He just opened and closed his mouth, at a complete loss for words. ""W-wait. You're telling us that… all your forms are actually aliens?!" Ochako squealed. "What?"

Mina nodded. "My father was an alien that came to Earth and met my mom. I get my quirk from her, which is a skin mutation, horns and dark sclera, as well as producing acid. The rest, my resistance to heat, my ability to stretch, are a result of my alien species. All Kraaho have this ability."

"So, when you said that Midoriya's transformation resembled the villain who killed your father, and she told All Might that it was the same species… Oh God, Aliens really exist." Jirou interjected.

"Yeah, that monster's name is Vilgax. He's conquered many worlds and destroyed the ones he considered too dangerous. He took over my father's homeworld, and killed him and our clan when they fought back." Tooru hugged Mina, followed by Ochako.

"The name of his species is Chimaera Sui Generis, and as you saw, I can turn into the same species." The others then better understood Mina's earlier panic. "Tooru found out earlier, as did Jiro, I guess. So I got permission to tell you two as well."

Tooru decided to interject. "Again, from whom? Another alien?"

Izumi shook her head. "Okay, this might seem really weird, but hear me out." They looked at her expectantly. "There's a sort of interstellar peacekeeping organisation, actually founded on Earth, which regulates and monitors Extraterrestrial activity. They're called the Plumbers."

Aside from Mina, who knew of the Plumbers to some extent, her guests were completely blown away. Hitoshi, the first to recover, just looked at her nonplussed. "What the heck is up with that name?"

"It's a really long story. The plumbers were originally dedicated to monitoring supernatural events and preventing them from affecting regular people. 'Plumbing the leaks', so to say. After quirks became a thing, they became solely dedicated to monitoring Aliens, and the organisation soon spread across the galaxy."

"Holy shit, that's so weird." Jirou muttered.

"Wait, is your mom a plumber?!" Hagakure shouted, connecting the dots. Izumi only nodded.

"Y-yeah. She was actually supposed to receive the Omnitrix, that's the name of my watch. Due to its ability to transform the wearer into pretty much any alien species, it's highly sought after by people who want to use it for their own purposes, one of them being Vilgax himself." Her friends became worried as she explained. "However, it locked onto my genetic signature as a mistake, and now that it's bound to my DNA, I'm tasked with protecting it."

Ochako stammered. "W-what?! So you have some evil alien conqueror who's after the watch, and you're the one who has to fight him?"

Izumi nodded. "Not alone. The Plumbers are searching for him right now. We know he's close." That got the others to panic. "But he hasn't shown himself for months, and even then, the most he's done is send down drones after me. We believe he's been critically wounded after a battle to get the omnitrix, right before it fell to Earth."

"Wait, but then why does All Might know about aliens? Is he a Plumber too?" Tooru asked. Jirou nodded, as she was also wondering why that was.

Izumi shook her head. "He isn't, no." She hesitated, before coming up with a believable lie. "A year ago, I met him after he saved me from a villain. The villain got away, and got another person hostage. The heroes present weren't doing anything, so I ran in without thinking." They widened their eyes.

"Well, with your quirk, it must have been easy, right? It makes you super strong, doesn't it?" Jirou asked.

Izumi's gaze shot down. "Actually, back then, I hadn't gotten my quirk yet. My quirk is an energy stockpile, and I was diagnosed as quirkless, so I never reached the activation condition. It only actually came in this January." Everyone boggled. Even though she said she grew up quirkless, her friends had no idea she had only just gotten it. "Anyways, All Might found me after that, and I asked if I could still be a hero even though I was quirkless. After seeing me run in to save someone, he agreed to train me to be one."

"Wait, what?! You were actually trained by All Might?!" Mina shouted, completely surprised. The others nodded along with her outrage.

Izumi scratched the back of her neck. "Uh, yeah. Well, soon after that, we discovered I could indeed have a quirk, and as luck would have it, it was very similar to All Might's, which is also an energy stockpile." Once again, they were shocked. "In fact, All Might grew up thinking he was quirkless too, though he got his quirk earlier than I did."

Ochako was feeling dizzy at that point. "I think I'm gonna lie down." Izumi rolled her eyes at her theatrics.

"On my first day of training, the omnitrix fell from the sky. So he was there when I got it. That's why he knows." The others nodded, just accepting whatever she said at that point. "So, uh, yeah. I know it's hard to believe, but it's the truth. I can turn into aliens, and Mina's half alien. Now you know…" Izumi had to admit, she feared rejection now that it was out in the open.

"So… there really is life beyond the stars…" Ochako mumbled. "That's so cool!" Izumi blinked at her friend's sudden cheer.

"Yeah, it's pretty crazy, but stranger things have happened." Hitoshi hummed. "Still, why tell us this? You could have just kept it to Tooru and Jiro, since they kind of found out on their own."

Izumi nodded. "Yeah, I thought it would be risky to tell more people, but I trust you two." She blushed slightly, as did Ochako. "Also… there is another small reason. You see, the elective that my mother teaches here… It's actually the Plumber's academy." Just when they thought they wouldn't be surprised again, she pulled the rug out from under them.

Tooru nearly choked on air. "What?! Then Hado-senpai?" Izumi nodded. "And Kurose-san?" Another nod.

"Yup. The Plumbers here on Earth operate out of UA… and they scout new members from the student body. Not just the hero course, but support and general education as well." They were at a complete loss.

"Wait, does that mean?" Hitoshi mumbled.

Izumi nodded. "Yeah. You could be scouted. Especially since you know now. I got permission from the High Protector to tell you, though he did ask me to avoid giving away the names of our members who you wouldn't already know." They nodded, as it seemed reasonable enough. "So, there you have it. I guess that's everything for now."

"Wait, since your transformations are all actual species out there, do they all have their own planets or something?" Ochako asked.

Izumi nodded. "Some of them… They were destroyed by Vilgax or another warlord. The galaxy isn't really a peaceful place right now. The creator of the Omnitrix made it to be a tool of peace, allowing the user to feel what it's like to be another species. To 'walk a mile in another's shoes'. But it could also be a terrible weapon in the hands of people like Vilgax."

Ochako fidgeted. "Well, uh, can you tell us a bit about some of them? Like the one Ceres comes from?" Izumi smiled as the conversation turned a bit more casual.

"Oh, sure. Ceres is a Galilean. They're actually a bit of an outlier. Their homeworld is Keplorr, a very dense planet in a dual star system. But the thing is, The Galileans actually never set foot on the surface. They just orbit it." Her friends widened their eyes at the information. "Yeah, it's pretty crazy. So, their orbit, fuelled by their control over gravity, actually accumulates a lot of potential energy on Keplorr. When that energy reaches a critical point, The Galileans are thrown into the far reaches of space, until they are inevitably brought back by their connection to the planet's gravity." Ochako looked amazed at the story. "Galileans are actually well known throughout the galaxy for being even tempered and good diplomats, as they are quite impartial to conflicts."

"Wow… That's really strange." Hitoshi muttered. "That each and every transformation you have is a sample of a real species, with history and customs and society… it's a lot to take in."

Izumi smiled slightly. "I know, now imagine having to study all of it!" They all laughed, though Mina felt dread at the thought of that much studying.

"I don't know about you guys, but I don't think I can handle any more information for today." Jirou sighed as she got up, Hitoshi agreeing as he did the same. "Thanks for telling me, Green. And I'll keep it to myself. I overhear a lot, so you don't have to worry about me spilling or anything."

"Thank you, Jirou-san." Izumi nodded.

Jirou shook her head. "Just call me Kyouka, or whatever. After what you told me, there's no reason for formalities, Green."

"Sure, thanks Kyouka-san." Jirou just shrugged, exiting the dorm room.

The rest soon followed, though Ochako made Izumi promise to tell her more about alien species. Izumi felt a bit of weight lifted off her chest, though the fact that she wanted to tell Mei still bothered her slightly.

Izumi felt like she was floating. 'Where am I? I fell asleep…' She tried to speak, but felt that she had no mouth. No limbs, nothing below her eyes and nose. It was all very hazy, like a haze concentrated on her eyes.

Still, she could feel she wasn't alone. There was something in front of her. 'A structure?' And people. She felt their eyes fall on her. Their voices were muffled to her, but she knew in her heart they were talking about her. Yet she couldn't call out to them, and the lack of a tangible body began to panic her.

A figure approached her, a feminine face that she couldn't quite make out just yet. "You… See yet… One for All… vestiges… be safe, my…" Izumi couldn't make most of it out. She wanted to speak, to scream, to ask what she meant. Yet, as she struggled against her nonexistent body, her mind grew heavy, and everything went black once more.

Izumi went on a morning run. It was a daily ritual for her at that point, but this time around it also had the benefit of helping clear her mind. Iida had decided to join her, and they were making a sort of small talk, though mostly focusing on the running. The memory of that strange dream still echoed in her mind, and the ominous feeling she got from it was making her anxious. "Wow, there certainly are a lot of reporters outside the gate." She mumbled.

Iida nodded. "Well, they must be curious about All Might taking a position here. It was all over the news yesterday evening."

Izumi widened her eyes. 'Nezu was keeping a lid on that. How the hell did it leak?! Couldn't have been the teachers, but a student? What would they gain by telling the press?' Her thoughts were interrupted as she suddenly felt an incredible pressure on her head, pointing her to a point outside the barrier.

She looked in the direction of the source, and saw a pair of ominous red eyes staring back at her, before disappearing into the crowd of reporters, just as her headache subsided. She burned that figure into her mind, the sheer amount of dread he caused her telling her that whatever he was doing there couldn't be good. "Iida, we have to go. I have a bad feeling about this."

Iida looked at her strangely. "Midoriya? They're just reporters, we should tell them what they want to know."

Izumi was incredulous, and resorted to simply pulling him by the arm. "Don't you think it's weird that they learned about All Might teaching literally the day it was revealed to us? Do you think Nezu would have wanted all this commotion?" The blue haired boy paused for a moment, then nodded.

"It is rather strange. But still, the press is harmless, and the UA barrier would keep them out." For some reason, that argument made Izumi's stomach churn.

"L-let's just get ready for class." Izumi said as she began running back to the dorms.

Iida nodded. "Indeed, we must strive to arrive early. A hero must be above all punctual!" Izumi raised her eyebrow slightly, but didn't comment.

Back at the dorms, she contacted Nezu about what had happened. "Sir. I was jogging just now when I encountered the press outside the gates."

The mammal hummed, sipping his scalding tea. "Hmm, indeed, I'm trying to get to the bottom of our little leak. It's proving to be quite a hassle, but why did you call to inform me of this?"

Izumi hesitated, trying to find the right words. "Sir… when I got closer, I suddenly felt a strong headache, pointing me in a seemingly random direction." Nezu stopped drinking once he heard that. "When I looked where it was pointing me… I saw a man with a hood and red eyes. For some reason, he felt really dangerous."

Nezu clenched his teeth. "Thank you for informing me, Midoriya-chan. Hopefully it's just a feeling, and nothing more, but I will look into it." He said, just before cutting off the call. He had some investigating to do… after he dealt with the press.

1-A was gathered once again in their homeroom, waiting for Aizawa. Their casual conversations were quickly cut short once the tall man entered the room, looking tired as ever. His eyes combed over them, seeing them surprisingly orderly and silent. "Good, you're learning." He smirked. "Now, I've reviewed your performance in yesterday's exercise." The class shivered slightly at his tone. "Overall, it's passable, save for a few outliers." He distinctly glared at Kaminari and Todoroki.

"Komori, good use of your quirk and for taking the time to make sure your teammate wouldn't be affected." The girl yelped, but nodded as she realised she was being praised. "That being said, don't think you can neglect your physical training. You never know when you'll have to fight essentially quirkless." She once again nodded sheepishly.

"Same can be said for you, Jiro." The punk girl also nodded, not daring to say anything. "As for you two…" He turned back to the two boys. "Kaminari, that attack was completely irresponsible. A single strike to Iida while electrified would have done considerable damage. There was no need for such a self-destructive move." The blonde couldn't meet his gaze.

"And Todoroki." The heterochromatic boy maintained his usual cold glare. "If you had tried to pull the same thing you did out on the field, you and your teammate would have been dead. Nothing gets a hero killed like arrogance." Aizawa met his eyes with a glare several times stronger. "I expect to see some improvement, or you're next on the chopping block. I won't send out a student to die from their own stupidity." Todoroki simply huffed, but nodded.

"Well, that being taken care of, we can get on to the next order of business. Something that will determine your future for the next four years." The class held their breath, wondering what curveball would be thrown their way. "You need to select a class representative."

"That's just normal school stuff!" The class exclaimed, in a mixture of surprise and relief. Then each of them began clamouring as they asked to be the representative, save for a few outliers.

"I don't care how you do it, just get it done before next period." He droned, retreating to his yellow sleeping bag.

"Wait, sensei, what exactly are the duties of the class representatives?" Izumi raised her hand, causing Aizawa to sigh as he was kept from his much needed nap.

"For other courses, the class representatives handle the class budget, event organisations for the class, and coordinate with other class representatives to suggest things to the school administration. However, for the hero course, I will handle the first two duties, so you don't waste time that could be used for training." The class deadpanned. "However, you will have an additional responsibility. When out in the field, the representatives are second in command after the teachers. The representatives will be tasked with organising the class and keeping them safe in case anything happens."

The students nodded, some of the outstretched hands quickly going down. "I suggest we decide this democratically!" Iida shouted.

Tsu placed a finger on her chin. "But we barely know each other. Ribbit, won't everybody just vote for themselves?" She argued.

"Well, that just means that if someone gets any additional votes, they deserve the position!" He countered.

Izumi then raised her hand. "Maybe we could have everyone cast two votes, that way they can vote for themselves if they want, and still vote for another person they think is qualified." The other students seemed happy with her suggestion.

"Just do whatever, as long as it's done quickly." Aizawa said, settling into his sleeping bag.

Izumi looked at the two ballots in her hands. 'Iida seems to really want the position, and he is very orderly. But my first choice is Yaomomo. Not only is she really smart, she's also caring and strategic… yeah, she'd be a good choice.' She furrowed her brow slightly. 'I mean, I'd like the position, but who would vote for me of all people.'

Izumi stared in shock as the results were revealed and she found herself standing next to Momo on the front of the class. Somehow, she had gotten a whopping 12 votes. Momo herself got 10, and the runner up Itsuka got only 6, followed closely by Iida and Setsuna at 5 and 3 votes respectively. Iida hung his head in defeat, though ultimately accepted his loss.

The class cheered on their new representatives, and Izumi just had one question. "B-but why me?"

Setsuna laughed at the question. "You serious, Midori? You're super smart, and you totally kick ass!" Mina and Tooru cheered by her side.

"Plus, you're always willing to help out." Ochako blushed slightly, thinking of the pair of boots she had made her.

Izumi just stared at her, nonplussed. "Indeed, Izumi-san." Momo turned to her. "You gave me great advice on both my quirk and my costume. I feel you'll do well as a representative." Izumi blushed at their words.

"Ah, well, I look forward to working with you, then, Y-Yaomomo-san!" She extended a hand, which Momo shook.

"Likewise, Izumi-san." The class cheered once again for their new representatives.

Classes flew by in what seemed to be moments for Izumi, and she saw herself already heading to lunch, remembering to send a message to Mei reminding her to stop working and eat. She got no response, but she hoped the girl would eventually read it. Before they got to the cafeteria, Izumi once again turned into Mistral, hoping to avoid class 1-B, especially Bakugou, from harassing her again.

"I still can't believe so many people voted for me." Izumi mumbled as she sat down with her friends. After the first day, where they all tried to sit together, save a few outliers, it seemed they were a bit more split up this time around. Still, the table was rather full.

"What do you mean, I totally voted for you." Mina said as she shoved natto into her mouth. Tooru, Setsuna, Hitoshi and Ochako also nodded.

"As did I. I am also rather surprised I got twelve votes." Momo added, the plate in front of her filled to the brim with food.

"Ah, thank you, everyone. I voted for you too, Yaomomo-san." Izumi blushed. "And Iida-san too."

The stern boy looked surprised for a moment, then bowed deeply. "I thank you for the trust you have in me, Midoriya-san!"

Ochako hummed. "You're taking this really well, Iida-kun. You really wanted to be representative, right? You even look the part, with the glasses and all that."

Izumi raised her eyebrow a bit. 'I don't think that's how that works, Ochako…'

"Ah, yes, I feel that taking a leadership role would have done me well in the future, as a hero. I have learned that being a capable commander on the field is something one can only learn from experience. But alas, it seems I still have some work ahead of me before I can rise to the occasion." He spoke with fiery passion, even by his standards.

Ochako giggled. "Wow, Iida, you talk so prim and proper. You're totally a rich kid, aren't you?"

The boy choked slightly as the table chuckled at his expense, save, notably, for Momo, who just stared in innocent confusion. "Uraraka-san! I… uh, indeed. I come from a family of heroes, since my grandfather first took the mantle."

Izumi nodded her head. "I figured as much, Iida, you have a really similar quirk to Ingenium, and that's not even counting the fact that you have the same family name. Wait… Idaten… do all his family members' names begin with Ten as well?" She thought the last part out loud.

Iida once again sputtered. "Ah, you're right, Midoriya… I had hoped to not disclose my status so I wouldn't be treated differently… but he is indeed my brother. He is my hero, and I hope to live up to him one day as the second son." His voice swelled with pride for a moment. "But… now that I think about it… we do all have names starting with Ten… That's odd. I don't think it's on purpose."

The table chuckled at his sudden confusion. Then, before they could continue on with their conversation, Izumi felt that strange headache once again, though thankfully, with three brains, Mistral was less affected than Izumi had been. "Wait, something's wrong…" Just as her classmates turned to look at her, the alarm suddenly started blaring. Izumi widened her eyes. It was a stage three alarm. Someone had broken in.

"What is this?!" Jirou clutched her ears. Izumi looked around as the students began running in a panic.

An upperclassman passed by the table and yelled. "That's a stage three alarm! That means an intruder is in UA! Every man for himself!"

Tooru, who sat at the corner of the table, was bumped into and thrown into the stampede, which began trampling her. Izumi spotted several students in the same predicament. Iida looked briefly out the window, where he saw the press being confronted by the teachers. "It's the press!" He shouted. "The press is out in the courtyard! They got through the barrier somehow!"

They all saw as Izumi's expression shifted into rage. Her skin crackling with teal lightning as her eyes began to glow and released what seemed like flames. 'The PRESS?! These idiots are hurting each other… Hurting Tooru in a panic because of the FUCKING PRESS?!' Immediately, a green glow encompassed the entire cafeteria as Izumi pushed her telekinesis to its absolute limit, enhanced by One for All's energy.

The students collectively froze in place, unable to move their bodies, as they were turned around to see a large being floating in the air. " What the HELL do you think you're doing?! Are you UA students or a bunch of children? " The bodies of the students being trampled were lifted and placed into safety. " You nearly killed these students because of those fucking vultures! Get your heads out of your asses and calm down! "

The green glow dimmed as the students regained their ability to move, some staring angrily at the girl, but most having been sufficiently calmed down. Then, as if on cue, Izumi felt her danger sense ping once more, in the direction of the faculty lounge. 'That can't be good. Fuck!' She turned to her friends. "Yaomomo, Iida, help get our classmates out of here." She turned to fly away towards the source of her headache.

"Wait, Midori, where are you going?" Mina protested.

Izumi turned towards her briefly. "I'm going to get to the bottom of this." With a boom, she shot out of the cafeteria, towards certain danger. Once she was clear of the most occupied areas, she shifted to Kinesis. The headache was still there, so the source of the danger hadn't left yet. Boosted by One for All, it seemed time stood still as Izumi raced across the building, hoping to all gods that she could be fast enough.

She burst into the faculty lounge to see the same pair of red eyes she had encountered at the gate. He was already half sunk into a swirling dark portal, disappearing into it with a folder in his hands. She could just barely read the small letters at her distance. It was the class schedule. 'His finger's lifted…' She noted immediately. She saw his eyes widen in slow motion. Furrowing her brow, she ran to grab him by the throat.

However, as she did, he immediately went to grab her arm with his free hand. The headache that struck her at the sight of the hand nearly burst her head. It was like staring at certain death. She let go out of reflex, and he growled at her as he was pulled into the portal. Kinesis was alone in the lounge, clenching her fist in frustration.

"Give us All Might!" A reporter yelled at the courtyard.

"Why did you decide to hire him now?" Another shouted.

"The people have the right to know!" Aizawa was just about done with their bullshit.

"Damn press." Present Mic huffed. "Hey, Sho, they're trespassing, aren't they? Can't we just kick their asses and arrest them? They're breaking the law."

Eraserhead sighed. "No, Zashi. Not unless you want the vultures to sue your loud ass."

"Drats." Yamada pouted at the rejection.

"All Might isn't here today! You're wasting both our time. If you want a proper interview, wait for the next press conference!" Aizawa yelled, seeing the reporters only getting more insistent. "Damn vultures."

Nezu then appeared between them, adjusting his tie as he addressed the trespassers. "I do not take kindly to such an invasion into our school, nor putting our students in danger by the panic you caused. I'm sure your employers would just love to hear from our legal team." That got them to vacate immediately, leaving the teachers to inspect the UA barrier. It was nothing but dust. "Hmm, curious, most curious."

"Are the reporters that desperate to get a scoop that they would resort to destroying the barrier?" Midnight hummed as they looked at the destroyed barrier.

"I fear that it may be something much more sinister." Nezu said, none of the usual mirth in his voice. Just then, his phone rang, which he picked up immediately. "Midoriya-chan? I trust that your classmates are alright?" Aizawa could already feel his eyebags growing.

"Nezu, sir, I'm at the teachers lounge… After I calmed everyone down, I felt another headache. I ran here from the cafeteria… I pushed it too far… but I saw a villain here. He took the first year heroics course schedule!" Nezu widened his eyes.

"How did he escape?" Nezu asked, the teachers raising their brows at the conversation.

Izumi panted. "He went into a portal."

"A long range warp quirk… that's certainly not good news." Nezu stated, watching as fear set in on the teachers.

"I think the warper is another villain, sir. The villain I found had a five point contact quirk, very dangerous." Izumi explained.

Nezu looked at the decayed gate, the information slotting in perfectly with his current theory. "Very well, Midoriya-chan. Thank you for informing us. Now, return to your class." He commanded.

"Yes, sir." Izumi acknowledged before the call disconnected.

Nezu looked at his staff and frowned. "Seems like this was a declaration of war."

Aizawa stared him dead in the eye. "From whom?"

Nezu shook his head. "That, my dear Eraserhead, I do not know." He hummed. "Call All Might and Orbit to the teacher's lounge. We need to address what this could mean."

Izumi checked in on her class before heading to the workshops. Thankfully Momo and Iida had followed her commands, and they were all mostly fine, save for Hagakure, who had already gone to Recovery Girl. "Midori, what the hell were you thinking? Where did you even go?" Mina asked.

Izumi stared at her for a second and thought of an explanation. "I felt something strange suddenly. I ran towards the source… and I found a villain."

"WHAT?!" The class shouted.

"He came in and stole our class schedule. I couldn't stop him before he was warped away." Her classmates looked completely awestruck. Warp quirks were incredibly rare. "I'm telling you this as your class representative: be safe. Don't leave campus if you can help it. Nezu's already on it." They quickly got their bearings and nodded.

Suddenly, the PA system sounded within their classroom. "Midoriya Izumi, to the faculty lounge. Midoriya Izumi, to the faculty lounge." She looked at her friends, nodded and left.

The air was tense as Izumi arrived at the lounge. She shivered at the memory of the villain's hand nearly grabbing her, but quickly shook it off. The first one to speak was her mother, an ominous aura dripping off of her. "Izumi." The girl's back straightened. "What were you thinking, running into danger like that?!"

Izumi tried to protest, but was cut off by Aizawa. "What you did was extremely reckless. If the villain you encountered was the one who destroyed the gate, you could have been inches away from death, Problem Child."

Yagi nodded. "We know you had the best of intentions, and I for one am proud of what you did, but you shouldn't have put yourself in harm's way. You're still a student, young Izumi." Izumi just nodded, giving up on justifying herself.

"But that leaves another question, Midoriya–chan." Nezu turned to her. "You mentioned you felt headaches that alerted you to danger. When did they start?" Yagi turned to look at her with wide eyes, as did Inko.

Izumi hesitated for a moment. "Just this morning, sir." She admitted. "I first felt it at the gate, when I saw the villain for the first time." Nezu simply nodded.

"You mentioned that your quirk stockpiles the energy generated by your DNA, is that right?" Izumi simply nodded. "Perhaps that is simply another manifestation of it. A kind of involuntary Danger Sense." He suggested, telling her the cover story she should use as a result.

Aizawa pinched the bridge of his nose. "That makes no damn sense… Just what is your quirk, Problem Child?" Izumi just shrugged.

"Hey, this was a surprise to me, too. Quirks are bullshit." Something told her Aizawa didn't accept her non-answer, but he decided to let it go for now.

"However, we still need to address this pattern of behaviour." Nezu stated. "No matter how useful your interference was, you, as a student, should not be facing villains yet, am I understood?" Izumi simply nodded. Nezu then produced a button from his pocket. "This is a panic button. Pressing it will alert all the faculty and send every hero in a ten kilometre radius a distress call. You are to wear this with your costume, and use it whenever you encounter any sort of danger, instead of running in yourself." He warned.

"We're giving you this because we know you won't abuse it." Inko said, her tone a bit softer.

Toshinori coughed slightly. "And, if for any reason you are pulled into the danger, then at least there will be help on the way."

Izumi bowed slightly. "I understand. Thank you for your trust. May I be dismissed?"

"Yes, Midoriya." Nezu smiled. "Head on to your next class. We have a bit more to discuss."

Once the door was shut, the teachers turned their minds to the missing folder. Snipe was the first to speak. "With these varmints crawlin' around earlier, I reckon these villains are plannin' something against All Might." Inko and Nezu nodded.

"But they stole the schedule for the whole semester. We can't possibly know when they'll strike." Mic pointed out.

Nezu hummed. "Indeed, though I do have a theory." The staff looked at him. "Most of All Might's lessons take place here, where our security is at its strongest. A villain, no matter how foolish, wouldn't attack the heart of UA." He mused, his eyes growing increasingly predatory. "No, they would attempt to attack us where we're weakest."

"Somewhere outside the main campus." Inko supplied.

"You can't mean…" Toshinori widened his eyes.

"Tomorrow's trip to the USJ." Thirteen concluded, clenching her fist.

"We need to cancel it now!" Aizawa protested.

"No, Aizawa-kun, we will not." Some teachers looked at him in disbelief. "Cancelling the trip would mean they would become more careful in the future. We must stay on schedule."

The tired hero slammed his fist on the coffee table. "You are not using my class as villain bait!" He growled.

"Now, now, Eraser, do you really think that little of me?" Aizawa didn't answer, but his expression showed that he had at least considered it a possibility. "We will double the number of teachers at any off site activity. The other faculty will also be on standby in case any attack happens." His gaze turned murderous as he looked at the open file cabinet. "No villain will harm my students."

Mei noticed that something was wrong with Izumi from the moment she stepped into the workshop. "Hey, there, Muscles! Ready to work on some babies?" Instead of the usual remark Izumi gave her, the girl instead met her gaze, locking onto it for a moment, before sighing.

"Something came up, Mei. I need to work on some other stuff for now." She simply said, before heading into her own corner of the workshop.

"Oh…" Mei pushed the sinking feeling from her mind and went back to her newest baby. She had realised her concept for autonomous assembling armour skipped several steps of development, so she first focused on creating a powered exosuit. It was slow progress, but she was determined to get it ready for the sports festival. The main source of her issues was power. She couldn't get a battery that lasted long enough for the suit to be useful, without also being extremely bulky.

Izumi was frustrated. She had been unable to stop the villain from taking the schedule. 'If only I'd grabbed onto it instead of the villain's neck.' She felt the urge to slam her fist on the table. Instead, she focused her anger and frustration with her failure on preparing. 'First Vilgax, and now this… An attack could come at any moment… I need to be ready… I need everyone to be safe.'

Mei looked at her friend in a mix of awe and worry. The rate that Juryrigg pumped out machine after machine was astounding. However, the nature of the gear she was producing was what worried her. Shields, quirk suppressant equipment, and so many kinds of lethal and capture weapons. 'Is she preparing for a war?'

"Hey… Muscles?" Jurryrigg was suddenly snapped from a trance, quickly turning back into Izumi.

"Huh? Mei? Did you need something? I'm kind of busy." Izumi's eyes were distant, and her voice seemed to be suppressing some form of anger. "Shoot! I still need to finish Yaomomo's costume. Agh! There's not enough time… She's counting on me."

Mei furrowed her brow. "Hey, hey, Izumi, slow down for a sec!" Izumi blinked as she felt Mei grab her arm. "What's got you so worked up? It's not like you."

Izumi hesitated, feeling her breathing quicken. "I… I just… I failed Mei. And because I failed, everyone's in danger now."

Mei looked at her confused. "Muscles, what the heck are you talking about?"

Izumi shook her head, clenching her fists. "The intrusion earlier today! It wasn't the press!" Mei widened her eyes. "It was a villain. He warped into the building and stole the heroics course schedule! They could attack at any moment, and I failed to stop him!" She slammed her fist onto a counter. "So I need to prepare… Mei, if I can save them with my gear… I need to try."

Mei felt her stomach drop. "Muscles… Remember what you told me the other day?" Izumi looked at her in confusion. "Overworking yourself like this, obsessing over this… you're gonna get yourself more hurt in the process."

Izumi sighed deeply. "But… I need to do something." She felt the tears start welling up before something warm collided with her. She looked down to see Mei hugging her. "Wh-what? Mei?!"

"You will do something, but creating all this gear… you can't be everywhere at once. You can't prepare for everything." Mei whispered. Izumi wanted to protest, but her voice failed her. "So just… breathe. Let's get Yaoyorozu's costume done, and if we have time, we can make some protective gear for your classmates, okay?"

Izumi just nodded, feeling weak as the adrenaline left her. "Okay… Thanks Mei."

Mei grinned. "Anytime, Muscles."

"It seems our luck has turned." A dark figure said to his two temporary companions.

The cyborg crustacean just huffed. "What is it, then?" The Sotoraggian just growled incomprehensibly.

The bounty hunter took out a small device to show them a recording. "Seems like some of these earthlings are planning an invasion of that fortress tomorrow, when our target will be in a relatively unguarded facility. We can swoop in and grab it in the commotion."

The crab took the device and appraised the recording. "Well, let's go hunt ourselves a fleshbag."

Izumi was once again back in the dark space, though the haze had subsided considerably. She still had no mouth, no body to speak of, only her eyes, her nose and her ears. Three figures appeared before her, two men and a woman. The first man was sickly and pale, with snow white hair and emerald green eyes, just like hers. The other man had a similar appearance, though his eyes were darker and his hair was a shade of off-white that Izumi couldn't quite name. Though the most notable difference was the scars that ran across his face. The woman, however, made Izumi's eyes widen. She looked like a carbon copy of her mother, save for having pitch black hair and purple eyes. 'Who are these people? Why am I here again.'

The scrawny man was the first to speak. "Don't be afraid, little Ninth. We will not hurt you." Izumi blinked. The man's voice was hoarse and weak, as if he'd been screaming for hours.

"We've come to tell you what's happening with One for All, Ninth." The other man said. "It's changing in ways we didn't expect after bonding with that watch of yours."

The woman smiled at her, though she could tell that the smile, no matter how caring, held a deep sadness behind it. "Ninth… Izumi… I'm so happy I can talk to you." Izumi raised an eyebrow, but the woman didn't elaborate further.

"Now, listen closely, little Ninth." The weak man stated. "I am Shigaraki Yoichi, the first wielder of One for All." Izumi desperately wanted to speak, and struggled with her inability to do so. "Ah, yes, it seems you're still not quite in tune with One for All yet. Let me explain. One for All, as it is passed on, doesn't simply accumulate strength and energy. It stockpiles quirks and the personality of its past users as well." Izumi widened her eyes in surprise. "We are the vestiges of the previous users. Until now, we were conscious, but could not communicate with the current user… until now."

The other man cut in. "I am Shinomori Hikage. I was the fourth wielder of One for All. My quirk was Danger Sense." Izumi blinked, in disbelief. "Aside from now being able to communicate with the vestiges, it seems One for All has reached a certain threshold of stockpiled power within you, allowing you to also access our quirks." Izumi looked at him incredulously.

"I am the seventh wielder of One for All, Shimura Nana. I was All Might's mentor… before I was killed by All for One. Also… I'm your grandmother." Izumi felt a bit dizzy. Just how much information would they dump on her. "I was forced to give up my son and my daughter after All for One found and killed my husband. I… Please, tell Inko I'm sorry, and tell Toshi I am so, so proud of him."

Yoichi shook his head. "Little Ninth, we are nearly out of time. Just know this, you are the wielder of One for All and the Omnitrix. Whatever challenges arise, you will overcome." Izumi wanted to say something, anything.

"Rest now, Izumi." Nana said, her voice tender and melancholic. "I love you, my Granddaughter." The void took her once more, and Izumi bolted awake, cold sweat all over her body.

'I need to talk to Mom and Yagi-sensei.'

Aizawa once again entered his classroom to a surprisingly orderly class. "Hmm, perhaps there's hope for you." He huffed, watching as the students groaned. "No time to lose. Today we'll be having a special class." The students visibly cheered up, but he noticed Izumi tense. "We'll be inverting your schedule for a field trip. Tuesday you were tested on your combat ability. Today, you'll be training to use your abilities for rescue." The class cheered, while Izumi just felt the dread pooling in her stomach.

"Sir, is it wise to have an off-campus class right after a break-in?" Izumi asked, drawing her classmate's attention, who suddenly remembered her warning and nodded along with her.

"That has been accounted for, Midoriya." Aizawa said, in an even monotone. "We'll be checking in when we arrive and every twenty minutes after, and we'll have two more teachers with us than originally programmed." Izumi wanted to object, but instead just nodded her head. "Good, now put on your costumes and meet me at the bus in ten minutes."

The class then rushed to the locker rooms to put on their costumes. Momo's costume was finished, thankfully, so she would at least be protected if something happened. Kaminari and Iida also received some of the gear that Izumi made the prior day, whips that could be infused with electricity and more armour plating for Iida's costume. Setsuna also got a pair of brass knuckles, while Izumi upped the voltage of Tooru's stun batons, so on and so forth. She wanted them absolutely safe, if she could help it.

"Fellow classmates, please form lines of two and proceed based on seat numbering!" Iida shouted, directing them into the bus. However, before he could actually order them around, he felt Izumi place a hand on his shoulder.

"Iida, while I appreciate your enthusiasm, this bus has an open style of seating, and grouping people by seat number could also be rather problematic, okay?" Iida hung his head in defeat, before getting into the bus.

"Just get in already, you hellions." Aizawa grumbled, followed closely by Hound Dog and Snipe.

As they were riding the bus, Tsu eventually turned to Izumi, croaking slightly. "Midoriya-chan, don't take this the wrong way, ribbit. I tend to say whatever's on my mind, but some of your forms are really weird, ribbit. Like, they don't seem like anything we see on Earth."

The green haired girl choked on air, and she could see her friends who were in the know avoid looking at her. Mina having the gall to whistle innocently. "I, uh, what? What do you even mean? It's just my quirk."

Tsu placed a finger on her chin. "Yeah, but they have such vastly different abilities… it doesn't seem like just the work of a quirk."

Izumi stammered for a moment. "Well, ah, quirks are pretty weird, if you think about it…" Tsu just deadpanned at her non answer.

Thankfully, Eiko decided to shift the topic of conversation. "But, dude, your quirk is really cool, and totally flashy. It's totally pro material. Mine's just hardening, so I'll have to work really hard to stand out." She showed off her quirk, hardening her arm into jagged stone.

"No way, Kirishima. I already told you this before, but your quirk is great for hero work! Hardening quirks like yours are super rare, and they increase both offence and defence. You'd be great in any situation!" Izumi praised. "Also, it doesn't matter if a quirk is flashy or not, or even conventionally heroic. Any quirk can be used to save lives in one way or another! All that matters is how you use it."

Hitoshi felt that the comment was for his benefit, and he could see Aizawa slightly nodding with approval. It was a similar speech to the one he had given the lavender haired boy when they began training. "Yeah, a flashy quirk isn't what makes a hero!" Mina cheered, hugging Eiko with one arm.

"Yeah, what about that Bakugou guy from 1-B." Kaminari interjected. "Dude could make explosions, and even with one interaction we could tell that his personality was like sewer waste mixed with garbage." The class chuckled at the analogy.

"Yeah, he'll never be popular, ribbit, even with a flashy quirk." Tsu deadpanned.

'Huh, never thought I'd see the day when Bakugou's the one being made fun of.' Izumi smiled slightly.

"Wait, you said you knew that guy, right Midori?" Setsuna asked, bringing Izumi out of her pleasant mood.

"Y-yeah. We've known each other our whole lives, pretty much." She answered.

"Was he always such a prick?" Jirou asked nonchalantly.

Izumi gulped. "Uh… kinda? He was pretty hot headed when we were kids, but he didn't get like he is now until his quirk came in and everyone decided he was the best thing since fried rice." The others chuckled.

Hitoshi rolled his eyes. "Oh, he was one of those." He grumbled, drawing attention to himself. "Destined for greatness, with a flashy quirk suited for heroics. Top student at a shitty school." Izumi just nodded as the description fit Bakugou to a T. "Fucking dime a dozen." She snorted, not being able to keep in her laugh.

Aizawa suddenly turned and glared at them. "Enough chit-chat, problem children. We're here." The twenty students walked out to see a gigantic dome structure, with the letters USJ written in front.

"Whoa, it's Universal Studios Japan!" Mina cheered, receiving odd looks at her comment.

"Mina, that's in Tokyo." Tooru deadpanned, the others stifling a giggle before sobering up as Aizawa glared at them, leading them inside.

They suddenly heard a voice from the speakers. "Earthquakes, fires, floods, typhoons! Every disaster that could possibly happen!" A figure in a space suit came out from behind a wall. "Welcome, students, to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint!"

'It really is just like Universal Studios Japan!' The class thought collectively.

Ochako nearly screamed at the sight. "Oh my gosh! I love Thirteen!" Ochako grabbed onto Izumi's arm and shook it with excitement. "I can't believe I actually got to meet them! This is the best day ever."

Aizawa looked around and sighed. "Where the hell is All Might?" He asked, looking at Thirteen.

They held up three fingers, which Izumi immediately understood. "He ran into a few villain attacks on his way to UA, so he'll be running a bit late."

'I've got a really bad feeling about this.' Izumi was immediately on edge, her fingers ready to press the panic button as soon as she felt even the slightest headache from Danger Sense.

Thirteen immediately continued her previous explanation. "Well, before we begin, I have one thing to say. Wait, maybe two. Or three, or four… Many things!" The class chuckled a bit, not at all easing Izumi's nerves, something Kurose noticed. 'So it's not just me…'

"You see, many of you have learned to use your quirks for combat. Today, you'll learn to use them to save people. After all that's the primary duty of a hero." Thirteen explained.

Ochako once again vibrated with excitement, fully in fangirl mode. "Yeah! You've been a rescue hero for a decade! You use your black hole quirk to suck up debris like they were never there!"

Thirteen chuckled. "Right you are Uraraka-chan."

Ochako turned once again to Izumi. "Izumi, Thirteen knows my name!" If Izumi weren't so tense right now, she would be struggling to keep from laughing. Instead she just shot her friend a reassuring smile, which she put on to hide her own fear.

"Which leads me to my next point. My quirk, while used to save countless lives, could also be very easily used to take them. That is why I have not only dedicated myself to learning how to be an effective rescue hero, I have also trained extensively in combat. It's important to have balance between both sides of heroism, because they're not as separated as we are led to believe." The class simply nodded, though her speech reminded Ochako of Kurose's advice after the entrance exam. "With that being said…"

Izumi felt the telltale sign of Danger Sense activating. She immediately pressed the panic button and shouted. "Everyone! We need to get out!" The class took a moment to process what she said.

Kaminari looked at the central plaza, where a dark cloud sprung to existence, from which stepped out four villains. One made of the same dark mist. Two bulky ones with beaks and exposed brains, and the last one… the villain who stole the schedule. "Uuh, did the simulation start already?"

"Thirteen, get them out of here! Those are real villains!" A horde of villains appeared on the central plaza before they could even move. Eraserhead put on his goggles and made to run into the fray. Hound Dog and Snipe readied themselves to fight.

Izumi yelled in fear. "Sensei! You can't fight them all on your own!"

Eraserhead turned to her and smirked. "You of all people should know, Midoriya. No hero is a one trick pony!" The three heroes leapt into the fray as the villains charged them.

"Wait, my quirk won't activate, what the hell?" One villain with gatling hands shouted.

"That's Eraserhead, you idiots, he can erase any quirk he looks at!" Another yelled.

Aizawa grunted, keeping his eyes on the misty villain, who he assumed to be the teleporter. "Damn media…"

A large mutant began running towards Aizawa, while the other heroes were occupied. "Well, he can't do jack shit against mutant quirks like mine, can he?" The villain boasted, drawing in even more villains as the class just looked at the scene in horror. Aizawa, their homeroom teacher, was about to get swarmed, and the other heroes were too occupied with other villains to help.

However, before the villains could touch him, they were wrapped up in his scarf and thrown against each other like they were nothing. "You're right. I can't turn off mutant quirks, but I'd be a fool not to prepare for that eventuality!" The class' horror turned to relief as their professor began carving through the horde of villains with ruthless efficiency. However, during the fighting, he did have to blink, and in that split second, the mist villain teleported away. 'Shit!'

Thirteen, still with the class, tried to get their attention as quickly as possible. "Students, we must evacuate as soon as possible. Your professors have this handled!" However, just as they turned, a wall of shadowy mist formed in front of them. The mist villain stepped out and bowed cordially. Izumi's hand already neared her watch. "Greetings, UA students and Thirteen. I am Kurogiri of the League of Villains." The now named Kurogiri introduced himself. "And I'd like to welcome you all to witness the downfall of the Symbol of Peace!" The class bristled at his declaration. "Though I am yet to see him, and we were certainly not expecting the two other teachers." His glowing yellow eyes narrowed. "I wonder how many of you will have to die before he finally reveals himself."

At his threat, even the most hardened of the students faltered slightly. 'They plan to kill All Might?! Do they know of his injury? No, it can't be.' Izumi hesitated.

Thirteen, though, immediately placed herself between the villain and the class, glaring at him from underneath her costume. "You won't lay a single finger on them, villain." She quickly opened her fingers to begin sucking in all of the mist.

"Ah, Thirteen, the famous rescue hero. Such a powerful quirk, that has saved many lives, but you likely neglected to train in combat!" Kurogiri chuckled ominously as a portal suddenly opened right in front of Thirteen, with another opening behind her, forcing her to use her quirk on herself.

"THIRTEEN!" The students shouted as her costume's back was torn open and disintegrated. Izumi cursed herself for failing once again, letting her mom of all people be hurt by this villain. She pressed the dial and immediately transformed into a large black and white humanoid with ears that looked like long power cords.

"YOU BASTARD!" Kurogiri could barely react before a huge jolt of electricity hit him, making him spasm uncontrollably until he hit the ground, steaming.

The others looked at her in shock. "I-Is he… dead?" They then heard something like a hiss from the villain.

Izumi, rather Feedback, scowled with her singular eye. "Evidently not." She spat. She then turned to her classmates. "Get Thirteen and yourselves out, now! They need immediate medical attention!"

They then heard something shifting in Thirteen's costume as a figure arose, wearing a similar armour to Izumi's. "No need to worry, students." Her voice was softer without the modulator, and Ochako's jaw nearly hit the floor as she saw her favourite hero's true identity. Just then, Kurogiri also began getting up, clearly wounded. "You miscalculated, Kurogiri." She smirked. Pulling two futuristic pistols from her waist, with another gun mounted on her shoulder. She had him dead to rights. "I might focus on rescue in the daytime, but I'm more than capable of handling scum like you."

Kurogiri widened his eyes as the guns began to glow with blue plasma. "Such violence. From children and rescue heroes, even. How society has fallen under the Symbol of Peace." He was calling her bluff. In his mind, a rescue hero wouldn't simply execute him. In a way, he was right.

"You threatened my students. Shut the fuck up." Thirteen immediately shot him ten times with stun rounds from her blaster, causing him to fall to the ground, unconscious. She also used her shoulder mounted gun, a cutting edge Proto-Tool, to shoot multiple energy restraints at him.

"Thirteen's the second Mamadoriya?!" Tooru and Mina shouted. Ochako continued to stare in disbelief, especially as her mental image of Thirteen as a kind and harmless rescue hero crumbled to dust.

Kurose smiled softly. "I trust none of you will reveal this information to the public. I do enjoy my privacy." The students quickly nodded. "Now, let's get this guy in quirk suppressant cuffs and hightail it outta here!" The students felt relief wash over them, or at least Izumi did, before it was shattered once more by three signals from danger sense, two from above, and one from below.

Back at UA, Toshinori stood chastised in the Dean's office. "What the hell were you thinking, Yagi? Our students, my girlfriend, could get attacked at any moment, and you wasted all your time solving crimes that other heroes were already handling!" Inko fumed.

Nezu took a deep sip of his tea. "Now, Midoriya-kun. While I am quite cross with Yagi-kun here, as all but one of the crimes he stopped to solve could have been handled easily by the other heroes already there." Toshinori winced. "I do have to wonder why there just so happened to be so many crimes happening precisely along his commuting route from Tokyo to Musutafu."

The two heroes widened their eyes. "Could it be… some sort of trap, using my instinct to meddle against me… This was premeditated."

"I believe so. If that is indeed the case, then class 1-A is in quite a bit of danger, not that I don't trust our faculty to handle the situation." Nezu stated, his voice slightly uneven. Then their phones collectively rang. Izumi had pressed the panic button.

Toshinori stood up, fighting against the strain on his body. "I must go now! I can't just stand by and watch as they get hurt because of me!"

Inko, however, stopped him in his tracks. "You'll stay right here, Toshinori." She said, her voice dripping with anger. "You're already losing time fast enough as is. We don't need you losing any more." The man lowered his gaze. Inko then turned to Nezu. "Sir, may I request level 15 permission."

The mammal looked at his subordinate and nodded. "Give them hell, Midoriya-kun. I'll send the rest of the staff right behind you." The woman left in the secret elevator to the Plumbers' HQ.

Toshinori looked at the dean, slightly confused. "Sir? What's level fifteen permission?"

Nezu cackled madly for a moment, before answering All Might with a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes. "Level fifteen technology, Yagi-kun. The kind that can erase someone from reality." The hero shuddered, feeling a little sorry that the villains would be facing her instead of him.

The students watched in awe as two figures crashed through the glass ceiling of the USJ, while another appeared from underground, revealing what looked to be a metal crab. He took only a moment to locate the omnitrix, locking onto it immediately. "Listen up, you filthy mutated apes." The class looked at him completely confused about what he meant by 'mutated apes'. "You can leave this place alive as long as you hand over the Omnitrix."

Izumi could feel six eyes on her as she squared up to fight. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but we're kind of attached." The two other figures, one hovering in a jetpack who was clearly a sotoraggian, and another standing on a hoverboard, lowered themselves as they readied their weapons against her.

"If you think I'll let you put your filthy claws on her, you're in for a rude awakening." Kurose stated, also pointing her guns, now in lethal mode, at them.

The Omnitrix beeped as it registered the new genetic samples, and they took it as a cue to fight. The students all cleared the area except for Izumi. Two bolts of energy barreled towards them, from the Sotoraggian's guns. However, instead of dodging, she simply absorbed the energy through her ears, shooting it back out to hit her attacker square in the chest. "Never fought a Conductoid before, huh? I'm not surprised."

The figure in black simply huffed as he lobbed a grenade at her, which exploded into a sort of muck. When she went to absorb another blast of energy, she found she could not. "You're still green, evidently." His voice was a chilling baritone. A pink blur jumped up to reach him, her kick stretching to hit him like a whip. "A Kraaho? And a half breed, no less." He appraised. "What an interesting development."

"Shut your trap, triangle head!" The crustacean snarled. "And keep away from my prey." The turned to shoot his once allies in the back, before being shot by hot plasma.

Kurose stood in a lowered stance. "Don't forget about me, you seafood reject." They taunted.

As he went to engage them, Kurose stowed her pistols and took her shoulder mounted gun, which shifted into a pair of energy swords. "What the fuck is even happening?" Kaminari managed to mutter. Nobody really had an answer, as they were watching the same crazy scene.

Izumi shifted from her Conductoid form into Ceres, attempting to ground the two other bounty hunters, The Sotoraggian fell, cracking the concrete, while the black clad hunter merely activated a gravity modulator in his suit. 'Does this bastard have contingencies for everything?!'

However, as their attention was dragged to the current fight, none of them noticed Kurogiri recovered, snarling as he struggled in his restraints. "Scatter and die, heroes!" Suddenly, the air around them turned pitch black, and the students, the crab and the Sotoraggian fell, leaving the third bounty hunter to fly away on his board, towards another part of the building.

Before they fell, Thirteen barely managed to yell. "Students! Permission to use your quirks in self defence!" Before they too were swallowed by the dark mist.

The warper was now alone, smirking to himself, though something was bothering him. "Who the hell were they?" Kurogiri wondered, as he too disappeared into nothing, leaving behind his restraints.
