Chapter 237 - 5.2

"Ugh! These guys just don't quit!" Sen Kaibara snarled. His limbs were spinning like drills as he smacked another Villain away. He had to be careful not to hit any of them head-on, because he would really rather keep his lunch down and blood and guts all over him was not conducive to keeping that a reality. Even with the glancing blow he just hit that guy with, he could see shredded clothes and scratches all over his side. A kick to the man holding his sore ribs ended his day, this time with no Quirk. It was enough for a lights-out.

Things had gone well for the first few minutes. He had quickly been able to link up with Reiko Yanagi, who thankfully had a complimentary Quirk to his. He had wasted no time drilling a few holes in the concrete and kicking up a whole lot of debris for Reiko to use with Poltergeist. Her Quirk allowed her to telekinetically control nearby objects, up to the weight limit of a normal human. She had wasted no time in whipping the rocks and chunks of pavement around at speed and nearly braining several of the weak ass Villains trying to kill them. "If only Yui-chan was here with us." Reiko said softly. He could barely overhear her voice in the flames.

"Oi, oi, you're going to have to speak up, Reiko. I can hardly hear you," He replied, but knew what she was talking about. With Yui's Size, they definitely could have taken their assault to the next level. But this was fine. He and Reiko together could still form a badass back-to-back duo. He would crush em and she would fling them around. If need be, she could even pick one of their enemies up directly and use them as bludgeons.

Of course, all good things generally come to an end, and it's usually with a bang.

Or in this case, a shout, "WAAAAAHHHHH! SAVE ME!" They were distracted by the little midget boy in class 1-A. He was running as fast as his little legs could carry him with wide tear-streaks almost flailing off his cheeks as he ran. Of course, as Hero students, they couldn't just ignore a cry for help. It was a little irritating that it was coming from someone who frankly should have been able to handle himself at least a little bit, if he made it into the Hero Course.

The two of them quickly intercepted the Villains, with Sen kicking one of them so hard he flew through the window into one of the buildings with the loud sound of shattering glass – how was the glass still intact in this heat? – and Reiko took out five of the chasers in one go. They all panted, as even this tiny amount of exercise in this heat was enough to take it out of them. "You alright, little dude?"

"I'm saved!" Mineta cried out, "Thank you so much!" He dove for Reiko and hugged her. But Mineta was still Mineta, and his left hand unconsciously went for her chest, closing on her right breast.

Reiko froze, and a full body shudder ran through her frame as she almost started to hyperventilate. "EEEK! GET IT OFF!" she shoved him away, and unfortunately one of her hands hit one of the sticky balls on his head, which popped off and stuck. Now totally freaked out, the young woman who normally prided herself on keeping calm and collected had her composure totally shattered. "EWWWW!" She squealed and started shaking her hand rapidly, trying to get the purple ball off. It stuck, but it also warped and stretched.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Sen snarled, totally incensed. He grabbed Mineta by the cape and flung him away from Reiko, who was shivering in disgust and flapping her arm up and down trying to dislodge the giant, purple grape. Having a total stranger – especially one as weird and perverted as Mineta – grab her chest would totally freak a girl out even on a regular day. This was definitely not a regular day.

"I didn't mean to, I swear!" Mineta held his arms out in a warding motion fearfully.

"Tch, yeah right! I heard about you from Kaminari-san! You're a regular old pervert!" That was perhaps the wrong thing to say, because now Reiko felt even more violated.

"I'm serious!" Mineta wailed, "My Quirk is useless against large groups, and they're acting weird too right now! I think it may be the heat! I was a goner if you hadn't shown up!" He looked at the still-panicking Reiko, "Let me help! I can get it off-"

"Stay away!" Reiko backed away from him.

"Reiko-chan, I know you don't want him anywhere near you, but you need that stupid ball off your hand." Sen said softly. She shook her head rapidly, and he got in front of her, "Here, you don't even have to look at him. Just give me your hand." She hesitantly held it out, and he grabbed her wrist and gently held it out to Mineta while she hid behind him. Mineta did something when he touched it, and the ball detached. "Good, you keep away from Reiko or we're going to have problems!" He said, while Mineta glumly nodded and threw it at the wall where it stuck.

Reiko rapidly backed away as soon as her hand was free, wanting to be as far away from Mineta as possible. Unfortunately, the lot of them were still very distracted, which was a very bad thing while surrounded by Villains. "PUNCH CANNON!" A voice rang out, and before any of them had a chance to react, Reiko let out a hacking cough as a disembodied fist buried itself into her ribs with a sickening crack. She spat out a lot of saliva as she crashed to her knees, her hand going to her side as she fought to get air back into her lungs. They could barely hear her raspy huffs over the loudness of the zone.

"REIKO!" Sen yelled, rapidly getting in position to defend her.

Mineta predictably freaked out again, "NOOOOOO! We really are going to die!"

"Yes, you are, kiddies! We're not all so easy to take out!" The Villain who had shot his fist at Reiko had it reattached now, and was rearing back for another volley, "Looks like I get on the board fir-!"

"STAY AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS!" A female voice filled with fury fell right out of the sky. Itsuka's fist was the largest size even her classmates had ever seen; more than seven times bigger than her entire body. She was pushing her Quirk as hard as she could, inspired by the earlier One Piece discussion with Setsuna, Mina, and 1-A's reps. She landed on the guy and crushed him. He was totally cratered and pancaked into the pavement. Her fist shrank rapidly, and she rushed forward, "Reiko-chan! I'm here!"

"Inasa! You're here!" Mineta cried joyfully as he saw one of their tallest classmates land as well. A wave of cold air started enveloping them and they all – even Reiko – sighed in some relief.

"Are you okay?" Itsuka asked frantically, and Reiko shook her head, clutching her side. Her breaths were still pretty raspy, "What happened?" Itsuka almost spat at Sen, making a mental note to apologize to her friend later.

"Tch, he happened!" Sen snarled back, pointing at Mineta, "Me and Reiko were doing fine until we had to save his stupid perverted ass."

Inasa had an uncharacteristically cold look on his face, his eyes pinpricks, "Are you serious?! Let me guess, he touched her in some way?" He rounded on Mineta at Sen's nod and Itsuka had a look of sheer rage appear in her eyes, "Are you fucking kidding me, Mineta?! After all the warnings Aizawa-sensei has given you, you're still pulling stupid shit!?" He punched off to the side, knocking a trio of Villains through a building as they ran up holding metal pipes of all things. Again, his blast of air spiraled upwards against his will, putting an even deeper scowl on his face at yet another confirmation that the heat was making his Whirlwind act strange.

"I'm telling you; I didn't mean to!" Mineta kept protesting, "I was just so relieved that they saved me that I hugged her! I didn-"

"That isn't even the only problem!" Sen snarled at him, "I have no idea how you even made it in, but you're a Hero Course student for some reason! You shouldn't be panicking and crying and being a nuisance!"

Mineta was angry now and yelled back, "It's weirder that you're NOT afraid! Didn't you hear them?! They said they had a plan even if All Might showed up! We were just middle school students a few months ago!" He was practically showering the ground with his tears, which sizzled in the heat and evaporated, "We're gonna die man! I wish I could have touched Yaoyorozu's Yaoyoroppai before I died!"

"You're disgusting and a coward on top of it?!" Itsuka spat as she stood up, "Why are you even in the Hero Course if you're just going to cause problems for the rest of us?" Itsuka was normally a calm and happy person, but hearing what she had had sliced her fuse down and reignited it. She forced herself to calm down, "Be grateful the rest of us are taking this seriously, and you can be damn sure I'm going to report you when we get out of here! Because of you we have an injured comrade!" Mineta burst into renewed tears.

"I c-c-can still help-p-p." Reiko shakily got to her feet and let out a groan. She was sweaty and pale, but she got up all the same.

"Don't force yourself, Reiko." Itsuka replied gently, "You have a cracked rib at least. Don't worry. We'll get everyone out of here, and we'll get you healed up. Recovery Girl will have those ribs fixed in a jiffy." She took command, "Let's get out of here! Everyone protect Reiko! Inasa, anyone gets close you blow them away! Mineta, at least try to help as we move! Now let's go!"

Reiko shook her head but followed anyway, "I-It was my own fault for l-l-letting creepo get to me. I shouldn't have b-b-been distracted."

"Let's move people." Inasa called out, still forcing himself to be serious for once. Mineta's stupidity had obviously pissed him off. If Reiko hadn't gotten hurt it would have been one thing, but now they had to watch her back instead of simply blowing their enemies away. Kendō wasn't going to be the only one reporting the short boy. They walked quickly, with most of Inasa's attention being on keeping his group cool. It was hard, with the heat making his own powers fight him instead of eagerly responding. He was almost too distracted to notice things about to get worse. "HUDDLE!" He roared and jumped backwards. The students hurried to do as he instructed as he threw his palms up and started pushing out so much wind a visible barrier started howling around them in a dome like a Kaiten from Naruto.

A flaming girder crashed into the barrier and got flung to the side. Each impact and extremely loud groan of metal was accompanied by the fire coating it bursting outwards and lighting bits of the street up as well. It was as if the hunk of metal was expelling fuel to light other bits of the landscape on fire too. "Damn, the rest of these guys have been useless. All these men and the only thing we've accomplished are some bruised ribs." A Villain appeared directly out of the fire surrounding them, "You kids aren't getting out of this. We're not like those other saps."

"WAHOOO!" Another Villain – this one a muscular woman wearing a skintight leotard – landed and crushed the pavement with her weight, "Man, how long has it been since I got to cut loose?" She crowed as the fire seemed to warble before flowing towards her. All around them, the flames were being absorbed by the woman, until her hair was made of flames just like Endeavor, and she had bulked up even more. She exhaled steam as little tongues of flame raced on her exposed skin, "Don't disappoint me, boys. Make me feel alive!" She roared, punching forward and unleashing a huge blast of flame at the group.

"She's mine!" Inasa yelled out as he pushed forward with his hands and then performed a twisting motion. He knew he couldn't block the flame directly – he'd probably only fan them and make things worse – so he formed a dervish in front, spiraling up towards the dome. The flames smashed into the airstreams, and the heat spiked sharply making his classmates hiss in pain. But his blood was starting to pump in his veins, and even his anger at Mineta couldn't contain the almost-slasher smile that cropped up, "Sorry guys, but if we stay we might hurt one of you by accident. I gotta get her out of here." The firenado vanished as they stopped attacking, "Come on! I'll blow you evildoers away!"

He punched forward, creating yet another gale force wind that knocked the female Villain backwards, her feet grinding trenches into the pavement as he raced after her, "Is that all you got, big boy?!" She yelled as he chased after her.

"Inasa!" Itsuka yelled after him, before grimacing as the heat made a return, "Crap! Why does he have to be just as reckless as Tetsutetsu?" She groaned. On one hand she agreed with his reasoning. On the other, a moment's distraction would have been enough for Reiko to batter the woman telekinetically.

They all had to dodge out of the way as a very large Villain busted through a building like he was channeling his inner Juggernaut, roaring like a maniac. He pounded his hands into the asphalt as they all dodged away. The asphalt cracked as his arms sunk in up to his elbows. "Come on! I'll smash every last one of you!" He growled out before the asphalt seemed to almost liquify and crawled up his body. When he stood, his arms seemed to be made out of the material as if he had absorbed it.

Reiko hissed as her injuries throbbed, "This hurts!"

"Oh sweetie, that's the least of your worries." The woman with the flaming teleportation Quirk almost whispered in her ear as she popped out of the flames, still having them lick around her body. "Die!" She punched Reiko, just barely missing the silver-haired girl as she threw herself to the ground. "Tch, stay still!" Reiko was grinding her teeth in agony from her aggravated wound, but still managed to turn and fling her arm at the woman, shards of rock and metal around them flying towards the Villain, who let out a little squeak and vanished into the flames. She appeared a dozen feet away inside another blaze, growling at Reiko, "You fucking Hero kids are something else. You fucking piss me off!"

"That's my line!" Sen growled, throwing himself at the Villain, his limbs gyrating and looking to take her out in one move. She simply sank into the flames again and he barreled through them, groaning in pain. The flames may not be able to touch him due to his gyrations, but the heat still reached his other body parts fine.

She appeared facing his back in the same set of flames she had vanished from, "Burn!" She punched at him and howled in agony as he whipped around and backhanded her arm. Small but deep scratches were cut into her and started weeping blood as she warped away again. "Damn you! Damn you fucking kids! You're not making a fucking fool out of me!"

Those were her last words of the day. A hunk of metal bashed right into her shoulder. She had entirely forgotten about Reiko. "You underestimated us. Looks like it came back to haunt you." She eyed Sen, "Thanks for the save." She accepted his hand up.

Meanwhile, Mineta had been shivering like a leaf after they all scattered from the fusing-juggernaut guy. "We're going to die! We're all going to die, man! We can't figh-HOLY OPPAI!" He screamed as he bounced out of the way of a shapely pair of legs.

"Man, you're a real little perv, aren't you?" Another female Villain crashed into where he had been standing a moment ago. She was kangaroo-themed and had huge breasts, thick thighs, and all around had Mineta salivating despite the danger.

"I think I'd die happy between those thighs." The perv was drooling. He shook his head rapidly, "Wait, no! Please don't kill me!"

The Villainess sweatdropped, but her eye started to twitch, 'Seriously, Aizawa? What the fuck is a kid like this doing in your class? You never even gave me a chance!' She thought to herself in both disgust and anger, "Come on big boy, I thought you wanted your head between my thighs." She purred out, a sick smile starting to form on her face, "I'd hate to DISAPPOINT YOU!" She leapt high and front-flipped, coming down hard where Mineta was standing.

"AHHH!" He ran away as fast as his legs could carry him.

"What's wrong big boy? I thought you wanted to play!" She screamed after him when she landed, her powerful tail cracking the asphalt as she leapt after him. And she was much faster than the short boy. She caught up quickly and – while still in the air – whipped around like a tornado and just barely missed Mineta's head with her muscular tail.

"NOT LIKE THIS!" He screamed in fear, ripping off the balls on his head and using them to scale up the side of a building as fast as he could.

"You can run, but you'll just die tired~❤️" She sang playfully as she bounced in the opposite direction. Each small leap from her cleared a good ten feet, before she stopped and spun to face the building. She took one step forward and leapt, clearing over fifty feet diagonally like a missile aimed directly at Mineta.

"NONONONO!" Mineta let go of his balls and pushed off the wall, flinging himself away and to the right. The woman crashed feet-first into the building and Mineta swore he saw the damn thing start to tilt. An explosion of sound followed him as the side of the building cratered and shattered, with the Villainess vanishing into the flaming hole she had created. He grabbed his balls and started flinging them at the ground, creating a big trampoline area for him to land on. He bounced a couple times before coming to halt. "Bad idea. Very bad idea!" He wheezed to himself.

"Come on big boy, I just want to play!" The villainess landed behind him and raced after him.

"I don't like these games!" He cried, tearing more and more of his balls off his head and leaving behind a minefield. He got lucky.

"What the!" She stupidly stepped on one of them thinking her leg strength would be enough to rip them off. She was…half right. A large chunk of asphalt ripped straight out of the ground and lifted into the air with her on her next jump, totally throwing her off balance as she windmilled her arms in shock. She completely flipped in the air, so she was facing the opposite direction from Mineta. "Wahhh!" She landed and immediately faceplanted into more of the purple orbs. "Shit! Get these things off me!" She tried to get up but was completely stuck to the ground. She struggled, groaning in effort as she tried to free herself to no avail.

Mineta skidded to a halt as he watched her shapely ass struggle to get up. His eyes started to gleam, "Yippee-ki-yay!" He roared as he charged forward, leaping into the air and flipping. He landed hands-first on her ass and gave her cheeks a good squeeze before spring-boarding up off her rear and slamming both feet into the back of her head, knocking her out cold! He even held his arms in the air like he was a gymnast sticking the landing at a competition. "CALCULATED!" He screamed into the flaming air in triumph.

Kendō was distinctly not feeling triumphant as she scrambled to her feet. Her opponent was tough. His Quirk allowed him to fuse with solid objects, and his propensity for fusing with very hard materials turned him into a goddamn tank. The fight had gone okay in the beginning. Her Big Fist afforded her hands a lot of extra durability. Her hands didn't just enlarge. If they did her bones would have been brittle as hell. No, her bones were incredibly dense even in their default states and only got denser the bigger they went.

So when her opponent had simply been absorbing pavement, she had pounded away at him. Not doing any big damage, but still chipping away at his defenses. His Quirk also had an additional downside. He couldn't move his joints at all depending on the material he fused with. She had already easily busted up his nose and left a few bruises on his body exploiting that fact.

That had really only pissed him off. He had managed to get to metal and had absorbed and fused with that instead. His punches started hitting a lot harder, and he started fighting smarter by covering only his fists and legs up to his knees, while also shielding his body. Damn, but did she hate when Villains figured their shit out.

'Come on, he has to have a weakness! I have to end this quickly! Reiko is still hurt! We need to get her to safety!' She bit her bottom lip in worry for her classmate but was forced to refocus as the Villain punched at her, shattering the floor when his fist connected with the ground.

"Stay still you little bitch!" He roared before eating a pulverizing punch with his face. "I'm going to SMASH YOU!" He roared as her hand shrank again as she jumped backwards. Even with the protection afforded to him from his face being made out of steel, his jaw still felt a little warped after that punch. He leapt after her, throwing a kick that almost ripped a car clean in half. "ARGH!" He snarled as he grabbed the crushed car and lifted it over his head, before flinging it at Itsuka.

"Crap!" She expanded her fist again and punched the car away, letting out a pained warble when her hand shrunk and she shook it out, "Damn it!" Even with her extra durability, that was probably going to bruise.

"Itsuka!" She heard Reiko's voice and her eyes widened. A stream of shredded steel, bricks, and other bits of assorted debris shot past her head before smashing into the Villain.

"God fucking DAMIT IT! I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU!" He swatted them before the floating wreckage started whacking at him like a swarm of angry mosquitos.

"Not today, Villain!" Sen roared as he whipped past Itsuka, right arm gyrating like crazy ready to drill through his defenses.

"I'll stick him in place, Kaibara!" Mineta – high off his triumph – came in throwing his sticky purple orbs at the Villain.

"Mineta no wait!" Itsuka called out, but it was too late. His balls – rather than slipping through to his legs – instead started sticking to their Poltergeist-controlled distraction. And then the Villain grabbed the biggest piece and wrenched it out of Reiko's control. He whipped it around and gradually it grew bigger and bigger as more bits stuck to it. "Get away, Sen!" She screamed in panic.

Her classmate was only barely able to dodge out of the way of the massive improvised weapon. "Damn it! I had him, you idiot." He yelped as the Villain started whacking away with his goddamn pillar of garbage, charging at Sen and trying to knock his block off.

"Tch! Reiko can you yank it out of his hands?" Itsuka asked her classmate, worrying her bottom lip with her teeth in worry.

"I can't!" Reiko had a look of strain on her face, "I've been trying! I think it's stuck to his arm too!"

"Wahh! I'm sorry!" Mineta wailed in a panic, "I just wanted to help!"

"HELP THIS!" A furious voice roared as the Kangaroo Villain dropped behind him. Her eyes were bloodshot with rage and her muscles were bulging even more than they had been during her 'fight' with Mineta. She had various bits of rubble stuck to her along with more of Mineta's balls. She had been forced to rip away parts of her outfit and had even left her combat boots completely behind just to get free. It was because of the rubble still covering and preventing her full range of movement that Mineta's spine didn't completely shatter when she punted him as hard as she could.

Mineta's world exploded in pain as he felt his body creakfrom the impact. He flew, howling in agony. His ballistic body was so fast the big Villain didn't even have a chance to block him. He smashed right into the Villain's chest at full speed and actually knocked the guy over as he ricocheted and somersaulted in the air. Even Reiko winced, reaching out with Poltergeist and setting him down gently. The boy lay still, other than some minor twitching.

"Him?" The villainess snarled, "He's in the Hero Course? I got expelled and never even given a chance to prove myself, and that ass-grabbing perverted assfuck wasn't?!" She dodged a punch from Sen and managed a half-assed kick that knocked him aside and almost into Reiko, who dropped her Poltergeist to catch him.

"Sad thing is; I can't even say anything in response. He groped Reiko-chan too." Itsuka mumbled just loud enough for the villainess to hear. As the sentence was further enraging the woman, Itsuka burst into motion, taking advantage of the fact that the bigger Villain hadn't managed to get to his feet yet. She could hear his wheezing, so luck appeared to be on their side. Mineta must have smacked him straight in the solar plexus. Her right hand enlarged, and she grabbed the Villain's leg, whipping him into the air with a grunt of exertion, before slamming him into the pavement. The Villain hacked out a bit of blood but was still conscious, so Itsuka whipped him over her head again and then just started banging him across everything she could think of. Pavement cracked and crumbled under the impacts of the Villain's body, until finally he lost his hold on consciousness and his Quirk faded. She panted, but didn't release her hold on his leg, "I get it. I don't like it, but I get it." She told the villainess, "But the fact you're here attacking us instead of learning from your mistakes and trying elsewhere or trying to make the world a better place proves you were expelled for a reason! Surrender, Villain!"

"No! I'm not going to jail!" Kangaroo-chan screamed and jumped at Itsuka, feet first and ready to knock her block off.

"Sorry girl, I feel bad, but you brought this on yourself." She wasn't even remotely sorry for what she did next. She raised the Villain with the fusion Quirk over her head and brought him down like a hammer on an exposed nail. He smashed into the last Villain that was still conscious in the area – other than Inasa's opponent, perhaps – and buried the both of them into the cracked pavement. Neither of them got up, their eyes pits of white and mouths open and bloody.

Itsuka panted and grabbed her shoulder. That had been a workout and she almost felt like she dislocated her shoulder. "Are you okay, Kendō-san?" Sen ran up to her.

"I'll be fine." She ground her teeth and jerked her arm, sighing in relief as the pain sharpened for an instant and then dulled, leaving her arm tingling a bit, "Let's go find Inasa and help him. Hopefully he's already done, and we can just get out of here." She made to take a step, before pausing and turning to glare at Mineta's insensate form, "Someone please… grab him. Even if he's scum, we can't leave him behind."

"Got it." Sen did not look happy but did so anyway. They all started running as fast as Reiko felt comfortable with – which was not full speed, but she was still pushing herself despite her injury – towards where they had heard the last big explosion. As they ran, Sen couldn't help but ask, "Hey, is it just me or is it getting cooler and darker in here?"

"YEEEES!" The flaming Villain roared passionately, "This is it! This is what I needed! A fucking fight!" She raised her arms over her head, the flames around her twisting and warping as they were sucked up into a blazingly hot white ball above her. Her body was steaming as she sweat, each droplet evaporating almost instantly, "Make me feel ALIVE!" She hurled the attack towards Inasa.

He knew his winds weren't up to the task of blocking something that concentrated. Not with the ever-increasing heat constantly throwing his control off. Instead, he started compressing some wind as tight as he could, the gales whipping his costume around, before throwing it at the pavement. It wasn't a Detroit Smash. Few things could come even close to that kind of attack from All Might. But it was enough to blow the street apart as if a bomb had gone off underneath the pavement.

Plumes of dirt erupted in front of him, tanking the fire blast. Even through his impromptu barrier, he could practically feel the hairs on his arm sizzling, 'Maybe I need to get a fireproof bodysuit.' He thought to himself even as the widest grin imaginable split his face. His blood was thundering in his veins and his heart hammering in his chest. This was it. This was the passion he thought Endeavor had. He vanished in a blur of motion, carried by his winds.

When he had started training with Izuku and All Might, he had already long since learned how to float with his Quirk and had utilized it for flight. When All Might unofficially took him under his wing as a training partner for his buddy, he thought All Might would have focused on helping him to make his winds stronger. Maybe even help him emulate one of his Smashes. And at first, that was exactly what had happened.

And then Izuku had gotten involved and practically torn Inasa's training plans to shreds. While praising his Quirk and its versatility, Izuku had unintentionally made Inasa realize how… boring he'd made his own Quirk. He focused on all flash and bang, and completely disregarded the other ways it could be used.

For example,… physical enhancement.

Inasa almost materialized in front of the villainess, making her eyes open wide in shock at his sheer speed. His grin was almost at the level of a slasher smile, "Tornado FIST!" He roared, plunging his hand into her midsection so hard she lifted a foot off the ground just from the impact. And then the dervish that had surrounded his arm exploded forward, shredding much of her tank top and pants, leaving small cuts all over her.

She blew backwards, crashing into a car and damn near overturning it before she landed on her ass in front of it, the car still rocking behind her. For a moment, Inasa thought he had won. It was a bit anticlimactic to win in one hit, which disappointed him a bit. And then she started to giggle, "Ahaha!" And then her laughter went almost maniacal, "AHAHAHAHA! YES. FUCKING YES!" She leapt to her feet, gripping her bruised stomach, "I think I'm in love kid! After we kill each other wanna fuck?!"

"Grrk!" Inasa choked as his cheeks reddened behind his high collar, "S-so forward!" That had caught even him off guard.

"AHAHAH! Blushing virgin are we?! I won't be gentle you know!" She howled in amusement, "What's your name, kid?"

Now that had him back in action, "I~na~SA! Yoarashi!" He chanted as he got back in his ready stance, "And you, Blazing-chan?"

"Blazing-chan?!" She grinned widely, "I like that! Call me Blazing-chan then! You ready for round two, hot stuff?!"

"Always ready!" He clenched his fist, "But what the hell are you doing with the rest of these morons! Your Quirk is amazing! You're the real hot stuff, not that bastard Endeavor!"

Her smile dimmed, "Heh, you think so?" She spat on the ground, "My Quirk doesn't produce fire. It only lets me absorb and control existing fire! Can't exactly be a Hero when I'm the one starting them, can I?" A mad glint overtook her visage as she started pulling in more and more of the flames around them. Inasa's eyes widened when he felt the temperature around them start to noticeably drop. "And of course, I'm always freezing when there ain't any fire around, but no one cares about that!" She snarled, "All I did was burn a little building to warm up, and then they had me freezing my tits off in a jail cell!" The fire started changing color, with her skin darkening until it looked bronzed. The flames licking around her body went from warm orange to a haunting blue. Her muscles bulked up even more and her blue eyes started to shine like floodlights in the shadow her face was in. Even her teeth started sharpening into fangs, "SO FUCK EM!" She roared, and Inasa was damn near blown away by the shockwave created from her roar. "I'LL DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT, AND NO ONE'S STOPPING ME!"

"Holy shit!" Inasa cursed as he slid back onto his knees and one hand. "I love being hot-blooded and passionate, but damn!" The heat had intensified. Or at least the waves coming from her had.

"EAT THIS, HERO!" She cupped her hands together like she was firing a- HOLY FUCK A KAMEHAMEHA!

Inasa threw himself out of the way as the blazing blue blast of what had to be plasma at this point cut straight through the pavement like a lightsaber through butter. It continued on as she adjusted herself to aim at him as he flew out of the way. The bright blue – almost white really – beam cut straight through one of the buildings he flew by in a zig-zagging pattern as he desperately dodged out of the way.

Finally, the beam petered out as she panted, dropping her hands. The buildings she'd vaporized bits of started to collapse. The groaning of straining metal and breaking of concrete rang loud and clear even in the background noise of the conflagration. It started listing to the side and sagging before collapsing with a thunderous roar. Dust and grit flew everywhere, some of it even fine enough to catch flames anew with loud explosions and shockwaves when it came in contact with the surrounding flames. The dust explosions were powerful enough to rock several other buildings and shatter windows all around them.

Honestly, Inasa was thanking his lucky stars that this was a training facility. He heard the emergency systems kick into high gear and start sucking away the clouds of black smoke. It didn't do anything for the heat, but at least they didn't have to worry about suffocating in here. U.A. may be preparing them for the worst, but a domed city wasn't a thing anywhere in the world.

He wasn't even having fun anymore either. He could see her skin continue to blacken, 'She's killing herself… she's absorbing too much fire!' He realized in shock as she cackled like a maniac at the new blazes around them and started absorbing even more, "You have to stop!" He yelled, "I'm all about being hot blooded but you're going to turn into a firework at this rate!"

"NEVER!" She howled, drunk on power and not even feeling the pain anymore. Never in her life had she been able to use her Quirk like this! Lighters and even sitting inside a campfire did nothing for her! She felt more alive than she ever had!

"STOP IT!" Inasa roared, charging forward with a scream of wind and breaking the sound barrier. He slugged her as hard as he could across the jaw, not even calling out the name of his technique. She jerked back and started to slide. She dug her boots into the ground and etched trenches into the pavement as he forced her backwards.

"WHAT'S WRONG!" She howled in utter delirious joy, "THOSE PUNCHES DON'T HURT A BIT ANYMORE!" She flexed her legs and they almost stopped dead. Inasa let out a choked gasp as she reared a fist back and launched it forward. Inasa dodged backwards, but not anywhere near quick enough.

"GAHHHH!" He spat a little bit of blood mixed with saliva out as he was hurled backwards, his costume on fire and almost melting onto him. The only thing that saved him was the multiple layers hiding the piping that helped a little with his control. He crashed into the pavement which practically exploded from the impact, sending screaming pain through his body as he tumbled. His skin was almost sizzling, the intense heat around her causing all exposed bits of his body to feel sunburned at best. His skin was hot to the touch now, no doubt.

"COME ON HERO! I WAS HAVING SO MUCH FUN! THIS ISN'T ALL YOU'VE GOT, RIGHT?! THIS CAN'T BE ALL YOU GOT!" That cutesy name she'd accepted from him was both totally wrong and totally appropriate at the same time. She had absorbed so much flame and heat now that her very veins were glowing under her skin, and small bits off her had started to chip off.

Inasa shakily got to his feet, trembling like a newborn calf as his legs wobbled in agony, 'I've got to end this!' He panted heavily as he tried to take a step and stumbled instead, 'Before one of us dies!' He thanked his luck profusely for his amazing Quirk as he shot into the air to avoid rapid-fire fire balls coming from the villainess. He grit his teeth, 'But I can't get close anymore! She's way too tough and her nerves are probably fried! She's not even feeling the pain anymore!' He dodged another fireball, wincing as his body ached, 'But the fire is making it hard to use range! Damn it! I have to try!' He raised his right arm, and the winds started to howl around his arm, spinning tightly faster and faster as he tried to compress his attack, "Tornado Fist EXPLOSION!" He roared, punching forward as hard as he could.

The attack flew true, the winds howling their rage as they barreled toward her. But the closer it got to her, the hotter it got as well. The attack started to wobble a bit, but it continued on a collision path. But roughly ten feet from her, it got so hot that the attack veered totally off course, angling up and to the left. It passed wide over her right shoulder and crashed into a building instead, cutting through it just as her beam attack had, albeit with more difficulty and leaving behind far more damage. "AHAHAHAHA! YOU CAN'T EVEN TOUCH ME! THIS IS DISAPPOINTING, INASA-KUN!"

"Damn!" He cursed, "Damn, damn, damn! Can't get close. Can't hit her from far either!" He blanched as he saw a large chunk of her forearm break off and crumble revealing what looked like living fire rather than flesh beneath her, "I have to stop her! She's really going to kill herself! Or maybe even explode and take all of us out!" He growled, "Come on wind! You've never failed me before!"

"HIT ME WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT!" She roared up at him.

"You got it, Blazing-chan!" He shot back bravely, and tried something he'd never even considered before, 'Compress it! Make it as dense as possible, so the hot air can't affect it! It's got to be as fast as a bullet! I have to Go Beyond!' The winds began rushing to him, compressing into a gigantic ball above his head, "MORE!" He roared, straining to make a tighter shell, "MOOOOOREEEE!" The ball above his head kept shrinking, the sphere getting tighter and tighter, but by the time it was double his size in diameter, it had already gone as small as he could make it. So, he positioned it in front of him, "STOP THIS ONE! PLUS! ULTRA!"

The giant ball of compressed wind shot forward, racing towards his opponent in the blink of an eye. The villainess didn't even have a second to think before it struck her head on, ignoring the effects of her heat entirely. She was entirely engulfed, and then a tremendous BANG ripped through the cityscape. The winds howled at speeds more approximating storms on Saturn at double CAT 5. The explosion's shockwave turned the area she had been standing in into a crater, the same as if a meteor had struck the ground at full speed. Additionally, it finished the job on the already-structurally-weak buildings, knocking them over as though they had been Jenga towers next to a powerful firework. Bits of steel, concrete, and glass shot away from the epicenter and crashed into other areas of the zone.

And finally, every single fire in a two-hundred-fifty-meter radius had been extinguished.

Blazing-chan wasn't blazing anymore. She laid spreadeagle inside the deep crater he'd created with his attack. Heat escaped from her open mouth and rose into the air in streams of first blue, and then gradually shifting to orange and red. Her eyes were white and bloodshot.

But what caught his attention was the crumbling ash that was what was left of her right arm. Her power trip had left her permanently dismembered. It put a sour taste in his mouth. This didn't feel like a victory… "D-Damn it, Blazing-chan." His voice warbled, "W-why did you have to go and make me do that?" He fell out of the sky, totally unconscious.

"INASA!" Itsuka screamed as she raced to him, just barely managing to catch him before he hit the ground. She grunted from the effort, and then panted when she put him down gently and fell on her behind. She was sweating heavily and had to wipe her forehead as she sucked down air, listening as their classmates caught up. She straightened up and looked at the crater, "That's…" She had no words for what she was seeing. It was like a bomb had gone off, "…Your opponent must have been super scary, huh?"

She didn't get an answer as she hauled him over her shoulder with a grunt of exertion. They still had an escape to make.

"THIRTEEN!" Ochaco screamed in anguished fury as she rushed over to her favorite Hero, "WHY!" She screamed at Kurogiri, who merely chuckled.

"Ahh, now there's the agony Tomura Shigaraki wanted to see." The gaseous Villain replied to her, "My apologies Miss Hero, but this was a necessary step for my master's plan to succeed."

She fell to her knees next to Thirteen, bringing her head close and listening for anything to indicate the Hero was still alive. She was utterly relieved to hear raspy breathing coming from the suit, "S-sorry, Uraraka-chan. I… I never meant to cause you pain." She almost cried when Thirteen's weak voice whispered to her.

But she held it in. There was a Villain to take out. If Thirteen was still alive, then she could save her, "You'll pay for this." She clenched her fists in anger but didn't rush forward. She knew Izuku would have stopped her if she did. He was the commander now. She glanced at him and their eyes met. His gaze promised retribution for this senseless attack.

'Don't react! I'm speaking to you telepathically! Don't say a word! Just think and I'll hear it! We're all connected right now.' He reached out with his mind and grabbed all of his classmates, as well as Setsuna and her classmates with his telepathy. Despite his warning, several of the 1-B students left jerked a little, drawing Kurogiri's interest momentarily. 'Camie-chan, I need you to use Glamour to hide Iida-kun. Make it seem like he's standing there looking worried. Obscure his actual actions.' She did so much to Iida's confusion,'Iida-kun, get into a running position. When I tell you to, you get the hell out of here and back to campus! We need to contact the teachers!'

'What?!' Iida gasped in shock, 'Midoriya-kun, you can teleport there and be back in moments! I can't abandon you a-'

'You have to, Iida-kun!' Izuku's voice snapped in their heads, causing some of them to flinch. The golden eyes inside Kurogiri's fog narrowed, 'I can't teleport out.' He admitted much to the shock of his class, 'Every cell in my body is screaming at me not to even try it. I think Kurogiri is messing with that aspect of my power. I think that was what caused my headache earlier. He's a Warp Gate. I think his Quirk is causing interference passively. It has to be you!'

'Listen to your Class President!' Momo shot out at them, her thoughts carried by Izuku, 'Trust Izuku's plan! Remember what Aizawa-sensei said!'

Iida clenched his jaw, 'Right!'

"Are you all just going to stand there?" Kurogiri drawled at them, before leering at Ochaco, "I thought you were going to make me pay, girl."

'Everyone else, stay safe and subdue Kurogiri!' Izuku yelled mentally before shooting forward, instantly engulfed by his emerald aura. His takeoff cracked the tiles beneath them. Kurogiri gasped as his sword erupted in light.

The Villain dodged out of the way as the much larger Psycho Slice ripped through the air and bricks that made up the steps, "You missed, brat." Kurogiri chuckled darkly at him.

Izuku smirked, "Did I?"

"What?" Kurogiri's eyes widened again as a loud crash rang out behind him. He turned his head and watched as the emergency shutters rent apart and crashed to the ground, leaving a gaping hole even a giant could have slipped through. And then a harsh wind buffeted him as Iida sped past at full First Gear speed. "No!" He raced after Iida but was forced to abort as Izuku proved his speed and cut him off before he'd even moved three feet.

"You're not going anywhere!" He yelled as he unleashed another Psycho Slice, targeting Kurogiri's main body.

Iida cleared the main doors and leapt as hard as he could, his costume shifting as he moved his pipes and grew others on his arms. They blazed with flame as he rocketed into the air.

The students didn't have a moment to celebrate as Izuku kept on Kurogiri like white on rice. The Villain was put on the back foot immediately, barely being able to stay ahead of the psychic's blade. The other students had heard his orders, but Izuku's style of fighting meant they didn't dare get close. Most of them would get sliced apart just as easily as the bricks they stood on.

Ochaco – fury still in her eyes – grabbed a small rock that Izuku's actions had thoughtfully provided for her and used her Quirk, standing. She took careful aim and pitched it like a baseball, increasing gravity on it to her limit at the last second, completely ignoring the way her stomach started feeling queasy. The rock – which now weighed more like a small vehicle than a rock – blew through the air in a blur of motion and smashed right into the metal brace that was Kurogiri's main body.

The Villain shot to the side like a man three times his weight had mule kicked him. He crashed into the bricks with a pained groan, his brace dented. Izuku raced after him to finish the job, but Ochaco had inadvertently given him a moment to breathe despite the pain. A warp gate opened underneath Setsuna and closed halfway, drawing a shocked scream from her. The girl split in two and her legs dropped in front of Izuku as a distraction. Her disembodied appendages splattered on the floor, blood pouring all over the bricks. Several of their classmates screamed.

He had to stop short to avoid bashing into her legs, and that gave Kurogiri a moment to back away and catch his breath, "You bastard." Izuku's eyes were glowing in anger.

"Did you think this was a game, boy?" Kurogiri spat, "Now one of your classmates is dead, and the rest are next!"

Izuku smirked mirthlessly, stopping Kurogiri short, "You morons thought you were going to waltz right in and kill any of us you wanted, didn't you?" His body blazed with green, "You should have stolen more than just the schedules!" He shot forward as if fired from a gun.

Kurogiri tried to dodge upwards but found he couldn't move, "WHAT!" He yelped, seeing Setsuna's decapitated head sticking her tongue out at him, while disembodied arms held him in place. His head turned to her splattered legs, which were standing of their own accord. All the blood and gore was gone, courtesy of Camie's illusion. "NO!" It had been so realistic even some of her own classmates had thought her Quirk had failed. It had been mere luck that Camie had known what her Quirk was from a glance while on the bus and had been quick enough to put her horror movie love to good use.

Izuku's foot impacted square in Kurogiri's 'chest,' leaving a solid imprint of his boot in the metal. He flew backwards with a pained groan, right towards Momo who had Createda metal bat with a look of intense anger on her face. She wound up and smashed him into the ground with it, denting both Kurogiri and the bat. She growled at him furiously, "Anyone else and you would have killed them, you scum!"

Kurogiri was 'face'-down on the ground now and groaning in pain. Mina got over him and placed a hand on his brace. The other she made sure was being looked at by the Villain and she started secreting her acid. Droplets of it fell onto the bricks and sizzled right in front of Kurogiri's eyes, rapidly melting a hole into the stone and disappearing into the earth. "Give me a reason." She purred at him, "You so much as flicker, and I'll melt you."

Setsuna plopped down next to them with a savage grin, "And don't think we're bluffing either. You almost killed Thirteen and would have killed me if my Quirk wasn't what it was. Heroes are allowed to use lethal force if we think there's no other option." Her voice was dark and angry, "And someone with a Quirk like yours constitutes 'no other option' pretty damn well, I'd say."

"Well done. Looks like you've beaten me." Kurogiri agreed in begrudging anger.

"Not just you." Setsuna declared, her sharp teeth in full display, "Our classmate has escaped and is getting help as we speak. You've lost."

"Ahahaha…" Despite the audible pain in his tone, Kurogiri sounded darkly amused at her words. His chuckle sent ice down several of their backs. "Oh?" His voice was definitely as smug as it could have been, "Have we?"

"What the hell are these things?" Midnight yelled as yet another of the white abominations with its brain exposed completely ignored the effects of her Quirk. She whipped her arm and her weapon of choice cracked the air as she cut off a limb. Her whip wrapped around its neck and pulled its head off.

"I don't know!" Snipe replied grimly as he effortlessly executed the moaning – and very clearly inhuman – monster in front of him. "Where did they even come from?"

"AND STAY DOWN!" Mic's Quirk ripped through the air, making them wince even when not being targeted. The blonde dropped in next to them, "How did they even hide in this town? Right under U.A.'s noses too! The Villains I can understand!" He referred to the pile of insensate bodies with bloody eardrums with a jerk of his head, "But these things would have stood out like a sore thumb!"

"Whatever they are and wherever they came from, we have to take every one of them down!" Ectoplasm told them as he arrived, "We cannot let such a brazen attack right under U.A.'s shadow go unpunished." Indeed, their school stood proudly at the top of the mountain this town was built near. "Do not let a single enemy close to the facility."

"YOU GOT IT! YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Present Mic roared at another grayish-white skinned monster.
