CHAPTER 9: Ben Out of Shape

- Ben's Room -

-'Yet another day of school.' thought Ben as he looked up at the ceiling.

He lay there wide awake unable to go back to sleep despite his alarm clock telling him he had about 2 more hours before needing to wake up. he had been rolling around for the last few minutes trying to go back to sleep but just couldn't, so he settled with staring at the ceiling as the yellow light of the sun shone through the closed blinds of the nearby window.

The teenager stared blankly upwards, annoyed at his inability to sleep but not being able to stop thinking about the incidents that happened the day before.

He had a rising suspicion that that strange man he had seen at the gate of U.A. was the one who invaded. Or should he say, teen, 'cause if his memory served him correctly, the size of the stranger was almost the same as his, though he did look a bit taller than him. But while crusty his appearance wasn't what drew his attention the most.

It was the way he glared at the school. It looked like he hoped to turn it to ash just by looking at it. Ben was bothered by that glare. If another student had seen them they could've confused the anger as jealousy, maybe from failure being able to attend the school but he knew better. He had seen that kind of hatred before not just once but many, many times.

That was the look of pure utter disdain.

His mind drifted off into other thoughts, mostly wondering how his family and friends were doing back on his Earth. He knew that they were finding ways to reach him and bring him back, but the fact that it was taking so long worried him a lot.

Ben had traveled to different universes before, one time he even flew between them in his and Kevin's personal spaceship, the Rust Bucket 3. But even with all the ways to travel between timelines, neither the Plumbers nor Professor Paradox had even tried to message him through a portal or the Omnitrix.

The possibility of staying here for longer than he wanted was becoming more real. Hopefully, he could be of big help catching bad guys here while at it.

His racing thoughts and worries stopped when his alarm clock flared up. He hadn't even noticed that it was time to get up already. -'Well, better get ready soon.'

- Kitchen -

After taking a shower and getting dressed Ben entered the kitchen and like yesterday Naomosa was sitting at the table, a newspaper in one hand and a steaming cup of coffee in the other.

-"Morning." Came his simple response to Ben's entrance, the teen rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

-"Oh, hey." He said simply opening the fridge and fishing out his leftover takoyaki from the night before sitting down and silently eating, everything was quiet for a few minutes until Ben spoke again -"So, what's our first move to catch the infiltrator from yesterday?"

Naomasa knew that the teen would want that and mentally sighed to prepare to explain to him why it wouldn't happen -"I'll go to work and figure it out from there, but you'll go back to school like normal."

The alien teen couldn't believe what he was hearing right now -"Really?! I talked about chasing someone INSIDE the school and they just treated it like that that didn't deserve an entire investigation? Not even just having a day off to know more about it?!" Ben questioned the detective, annoyance radiating in his voice.

Sensing the teen's building anger, Naomosa sat his mug down and turned to directly face his guest, -"Look Ben, things like that are normal here and it's not like anyone was hurt. You were the only one who saw the culprit and by your own testimony, they just tried to flee without a fight." He spoke calmly trying to calm the hero down knowing full well what would happen if he didn't.

-"We should be out there searching for him!" angered, Ben slammed his hands into the table as he stood up -"It's clear he was the one to have destroyed the gate!" he exclaimed, raising his voice but Naomosa's face didn't change. Given his line of work, he was used to annoying heroes and fellow police officers and knew that trying to fight against their argument would only cause more annoyance.

-"Things work differently here, they can't just close the most prestigious hero school in the country for a reason that wasn't even announced to the public in the very first week of classes. The police will take care of it, you don't have to worry." He insisted on being careful with the words he'd use when addressing the situation.

-"This is not how heroes should be." Ben let out, sitting back down sensing that he wasn't getting much further from this conversation.

Naomosa sighed, -"Tell you what, after school and my work, we can figure out a way to find out who that was and go after them. I'll let you in on what I have as well." he suggested, wishing to go halfway with the teen hero in an attempt to prevent him from running off on his own to search for the figure he had seen.

-"Fine." he said, simply stuffing another ball of takoyaki into his mouth. The next few minutes were silent as the duo finished their coffee and food before heading to school, with Ben seriously debating if this whole school thing was as good of an idea as he thought. A few minutes later the duo were on their way to school which went off without a hitch. Ben couldn't help but be annoyed still but kept quiet.

- Class 1-A -

The school day started as usual for everyone, nobody paying any mind to what happened yesterday since nobody except the staff knew what really went down. And while most students were going by their day like normal, Ben still had his mind troubled.

Spending days, no- weeks here was starting to take a bit of a toll on his mind. Not because he was tired, far from it, but because he was impatient!

The only "hero" action he got since his first day here was during the trials yesterday, and even then, the teen had to hold back his full power more than usual so that he didn't hurt his classmates.

The hero truly hoped that things would start to get better and be more fun from now on. Lucky for him, Aizawa spoke to the class and pulled Ben out of his thoughts.

-"Today's training will be a little different. You'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you."

-'Three pros? Is that because of the break-in?' thought Midoriya.

-'I hope this is good.' Ben prayed.

Sero raised his hand to ask -"Sir, what kind of training is this?"

-"Rescue." Aizawa said while flashing a card with the same word. Though one would wonder why he was being so… flashy, with it. -"You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that."

The class cheered on the new exciting activity.

-"Disasters huh? Sounds like we're in for a big workout." said Kaminari.

-"Totally!" Ashido jumped.

-"Finally I'll get to show how good I am in water, ribbit." said Tsu.

Meanwhile all Ben could think about was the time he did a similar type of training while in the Plumber Academy. Sure, this is different, but the principle was the same: Saving people without beating bad guys.

-'It has been a while since I've done this kind of thing. I could improve.'

Aizawa again interrupted his thought process, -"I'm not finished yet."

The students all realize their mistake and immediately shut up and give him the room again.

-"What you wear in this exercise is up to you, I know you're excited about your costumes."

He clicked a button and the wall at his far right opened up to reveal a bunch of cases that contained said costumes of each individual in the class, with their number on it.

-"But keep in mind you haven't gotten used to them yet and they might limit your abilities. This special training is at an off-campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there. That's all, start getting ready."

Everyone started to get up to go change, except for Izuku, who looked determined.

-'Rescue training. I've been waiting for this. It'll bring me one step closer to being the kind of hero he is! I'll do my best!' the boy thought while tightening his fist.

Ben noticed he was the only one still seated, -"Hey Izuku, you okay?"

Midoriya realized that he was letting his mind go adrift and snapped back -"Oh! I-I'm sorry. I'm just thinking about the exercise a bit."

-"Have you ever done something like this before?"

-"Never, but I always admired heroes for that. It's not just about beating villains but making sure people are okay and safe. Heroes need to protect others who can't protect themselves."

Ben looked and smiled at the green-haired boy who had a determined look on his face. It was almost… inspiring just hearing him.

-"Then let's nail this thing." He put his fist up inviting a fist bump to Midoriya.

And the teen looked at it almost as if nobody had ever done that before with him. Smiling, Izuku reciprocated -"Yeah!"

- U.A. Entrance -

After a quick change of clothes, all the students of Class 1-A meet up at the parking lot at the side of the school, where a bus waits for them.

-"Deku?" Uraraka approached the boy -"Where's your mask? I remember you wearing one during the fight."

Indeed, Izuku was wearing his green hero costume from the trials, but without the signature green rabbit-like mask and hood.

The boy sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, -"Bakugou broke it yesterday at the battle, but at least I still got the rest of my uniform intact."

-"At least you have a uniform. Our American buddy here is still going in his jeans and jacket." said Kaminari while pointing at Ben, slightly poking fun at him.

-"Why do you not have a costume again Ben?" Ochaco questioned.

This got Ben thinking a little, -"To tell you the truth, I… never really thought about having one." he answered with honesty, -"Why waste time changing into a costume while fighting when my quirk already makes my clothes disappear, you know."

Mina questioned him -"Wouldn't you like to have a recognizable suit and brand?"

-"I mean…" he couldn't tell them that he ALREADY is a big celebrity and major hero, even if he wanted to boast a little, -"It could be cool to have a more practical costume of my own so I can fight without being transformed."

-"I can help you design one if you want!" said Midoriya with eyes larger than a saucer, and one could say almost sparkling, -"It needs to be practical and align with the themes of your abilities. I assume your favorite color is green too, so that's already a first step to…"

FWEEEEET!

His rambling was interrupted by a loud whistle. It was Iida.

-"Gather around Class 1-A!" the class president called out to the rest of the students.

Momo showed up by his side -"Following your student ID numbers, you shall form two lines and everyone will get in and immediately go to the further end!"

-"This is the most efficient way to distribute and fill in!"

-"Iida's kicking into high gear as our class rep, huh?" Izuku said, a little embarrassed by his friend's enthusiasm.

-"And Yaoyorozu is not far behind." Ochaco added, feeling the same thing.

-"We voted for them." Ben quipped, smiling.

- Streets of Musutafu -

While it was a calm day for the students, the same could not be said about the rest of the city. In the middle of the street, three pro heroes were tired and battered on the ground after a tiring fight.

One of these heroes was Kamui Woods, who came along with a crime-fighting partner of his, Mt. Lady.

She's a young woman with purple eyes and white pupils. She had long blonde hair reaching down to her waist with two shorter strands curled to frame her face, parted slightly to her right.

She was wearing a purple and pale tan-colored skin-tight bodysuit, which was accented with orange stripes. Alongside purple gloves and boots which are cut off at the thigh in a deep v-shape. Her face is ''concealed'' by a purple domino mask with horn-like protrusions on the sides.

They were dealing with a hostage situation at the moment.

-"Don't move!" The criminal called out to the hero while holding three people inside a headlock.

This was an enormous, muscular humanoid villain with an unusual extension from his shoulders that grows up and over his head, which unintentionally gives it a hood-like appearance.

His face was largely concealed within this hood, only showing round white eyes and a large mouth. He wore an armored half-vest with a chain over his right shoulder and cargo pants with additional plating.

-"One step closer and I'll kill this whole family! You don't want the blood of these damned yuppies on your hands now, do ya, heroes?"

He moved his hand closer to appear as though he was going to crush them.

Mt. Lady was extremely frustrated. She didn't know what to do to get the hostages free and she was afraid that using her Quirk would backfire.

Fortunately for her, the answer came from the sky.

-"Never fear, dear citizens!" exclaimed the booming voice of All Might, who turned his hand into a chopping motion, -"Missouri Smash!"

And knocked out the villain with a single chop at the back of the head, making sure the civilians were safe in the process as well.

-"I'm here to keep you safe even on my morning commute!"

-"A hit-and-run!" he heard a woman call out.

-"I shouldn't be late for school, but I can't ignore someone in need!"

He jumped into the air as fast as he could.

-"All Might."

Not even noticing that Kamui had called out his name quietly.

He wanted to talk to the hero but didn't know when he would get another chance, so he sprinted toward the general direction the Number 1 hero was going.

-"W-Wait, Nishiya?!" Mt. Lady tried to stop him.

-"I'll be back soon, I promise!" He tried to reassure her.

-"Dammit… Now I have to clean this up all by myself." She sighed.

Jumping around the city, All Might finally noticed something that should have been obvious but worried him greatly.

-'I've clearly gotten slower. My powers have been weakening even faster since I gave One For All to Young Midoriya. I'm pushing my hero form too far past the limits.'

He remembered the day about ten months ago when he met Midoriya. On the very same day, after witnessing the heroic attitude the boy had, the Symbol of Peace himself became inspired and transformed to defeat a villain, while also deciding that Izuku was to be the one to carry One For All and his legacy forward.

-'Fighting that Sludge Villain even though I was exhausted shortened the time I can spend as the Symbol of Peace.'

His thoughts drifted back to another green student of his.

Ben's situation was almost the exact opposite of Midoriya's. He was born in a world where almost nobody has powers and the ones that do are unknown. In all of their talks, the teen exhibited confidence and charisma that Midoriya severely lacked.

So how come when All Might heard Ben's desire to continue being a hero even if not in his world, all he could hear was the same kind of heroic determination his successor showed?

He was still a bit skeptical of Ben since nobody had truly seen what he was capable of, but he couldn't deny the boy had a lot of potential, especially since from what All Might had seen of him in battle, he was extremely versatile.

Coming down to the ground again, All Might stopped a car from crashing into civilians by punching the hood.

-'While the two may have great potential, they are still young. And it was clear that Young Tennyson never received the amount of training we give at U.A. It is up to me and the teacher to shape that potential into great heroes.'

-"ALL MIGHT!"

-"Huh?" The number 1 turned around and saw Kamui Woods landing beside him, clearly out of breath from following him. -"Oh, Kamui, what can I help you with? I'm a little late for school right now."

-"I…" he stopped trying to catch his breath -"...wanted to talk to you about that red four-armed villain that we chased a couple of weeks ago."

-"Uhh, why exactly?" All Might tried to dismiss it as if it was just some common villain.

-"I wasn't fast enough to catch him that day, but I saw that you were chasing him as well. When I finally thought I had caught up to you both, all I saw was you jumping off to another place with someone small on your back."

Toshinori was starting to get worried. If Kamui had seen Ben and whom he interacted with, it would have been one more person to add to the secret, which was hard enough to keep.

-"Then I went to the police station to give my statement about the incident, but after that, no news on the whole thing. No reports, no news broadcast, and not even a call back to see if I wanted to help with the investigation. I just want to know what happened to that villain, if you need any help or… if he hurt anyone."

-'Can't have him looking too deep into this. I hate to do this to a fellow hero but… in cases such as this, I have to lie.'

All Might looked at his fellow hero, put on the nicest face he could, and lied to the man.

-"You don't have anything to worry about! The villain had simply shrunken down into his normal tiny form after I punched him hard enough, so I put him in my pocket. The person you saw was just scared about the whole thing and I took him close to his home to compensate. That Four-armed guy is behind the cells now, maybe even on Tartarus."

For All Might's luck, Kamui looked really relieved about it, even releasing a sigh. -"That's good. I was afraid I had let a villain escape on my watch."

-"Nonsense!" The man tried to dismiss it with a hand motion, -"Now if that's all, I'm afraid I have to go, I'm already pretty late to school. Take care!"

With that, the number 1 hero jumped out in the direction of U.A. without giving Kamui a chance to speak.

-'That was a close one. I hope I don't have to do this much more.'

Meanwhile, Kamui just stood there, thinking about this encounter. Relieved that his mistake hadn't caused any major trouble and thankful that All Might was there. -'Now I have to go back to the others…' he sighed in annoyance -'I just know Takeyama will throw a fit about this.'

- Bus -

Turns out that the bus they were using had a completely different layout than a normal one would. It was open in the middle with seats being faced in front of each other rather than in line, like a subway.

-"The bus' open layout ruined our boarding strategy." said an overly dramatic Iida in defeat.

-"It was the perfect way." said an equally dramatic Yaoyorozu by his right side. On her side, there was Mina and Aoyama.

-"Iida, you need to chill," said Mina.

-"She's right. But this is better. We can form strategies and talk about theories regarding this next exercise a lot easier." Ben pointed out. He was sitting facing Iida, with Midoriya, Tsu, and Kirishima by his left side.

-"What's there to theorize? It's a rescue exercise, what do you think we're going to do?" Kirishima rhetorically asked.

-"Rescuing people for sure." he said smirking while leaning on his seat.

-"If we're pointing out the obvious, then there's something I gotta say…" Tsu turned to Izuku -"... about you."

-"About me?" Midoriya got nervous -"What is it, Asui?"

-"I told you to call me ''Tsu''."

-"Oh. Yeah, right." He got a little embarrassed by that.

-"That power of yours. Isn't it a lot like All Might's?" she questioned.

Izuku yelped and got scared that Tsu had maybe figured out his secret, -"What? Really? You think so, huh? I never really thought about that. I guess it's kinda similar."

-"What is your power, Izuku?" Ben asked, curious about it.

-"Oh yeah, you never saw what his quirk was during the battles or the entrance exam." Mina realized.

-"You wouldn't believe it! Deku jumped really high and SMASHED that giant robot's face with a single punch!" Uraraka, who was hearing the conversation from one of the seats in the back, enthusiastically mentioned.

-"Uoi! Moname Midoriya was shining bright that day." Aoyama commented.

-"It's okay guys, really." he tried to wave them off, -"You also forget I broke a lot of bones that day."

-"Wait, HOW?! I thought an entry test was supposed to be safe!" questioned the alien teen.

-"It was due to my Quirk: Super-power. I can store energy and transform it into strength. But… it does take a strain on my body."

-"That's an understatement." Kaminari butted in.

-"He literally breaks his bones every time he uses it." Jirou also joined in.

Ben was perplexed -"But then how come your arms seem fine now?!"

-"That's thanks to Recovery Girl, the head nurse at U.A. Her Quirk can heal someone after she plants a kiss on them." Iida explained.

-"Yeah, but it's not entirely my fault either, I was just a late bloomer. My Quirk only kicked in a few months ago. Before then I lived basically quirkless."

-"Damn dude… you have a power you can't control and that hurts you but you still decided to become a hero." Ben looked at Midoriya differently now. He already had respect for the guy, but now it grew even more. Having such difficulty when it seems everyone else is better than you, and even being able to take years of bullying but still have the strength to stand up for himself… that's growth. -'It makes sense why he's so awkward around everyone else.'he thought -"I gotta give you my respect."

-"Thank you a lot, Ben." Midoriya flashed a great smile.

-"Yeah, give yourself some credit man. You have a simple augmenting-type a' Quirk. You could do a lot of flashy stuff with it." Kirishima complimented.

The boy moved his arm up and demonstrated his own Quirk by making his skin go super hard, almost looking like a rock.

-"My Hardening's super strong and can destroy bad guys in a fight, but it doesn't look all that impressive."

-"Oh, no way, I think it's awesome looking. You're pro material with a Quirk like that." Midoriya complimented the boy.

-"You think so? Seems like it'd be easier to be a popular hero if I had somethin' flashier."

-"My Naval Laser's got the perfect combination of panache and strength." said Aoyama, trying to make himself sound cooler.

-"But it's way lame if it gives you a stomachache, sweetie." But Mina brought him back to reality.

-"Well, if any of our classmates have pro Quirks, it's Todoroki, Bakugo, and Ben. One of the reasons I voted for Ben to be president." Kirishima revealed.

-"Wait… one of my votes was you?"

-"Yeah man! You were awesome during those fights and worked well enough with everyone. I'm not the type to plan stuff out before acting, I like to go in head first, so when you came up with that plan sold me on your ability."

-"It's true Ben, your Quirk is not the only thing going for you." Momo confirmed.

To say that Ben was touched would be an understatement. Sure, he got praise a lot of the time, but not like this, not the genuine calculated praise his classmates were giving him. Not for BEING a hero, but for actually doing a good job.

Even if he didn't this whole thing would make much of a difference, meeting such cool people that he could help and could help him was making him think it was 100% worth it.

-"Thanks a lot guys, I mean it." The alien boy was grateful for their words and thanked them with a slight head nod and a smile.

-"Since we're on the topic, how exactly does your Quirk work, Ben?" Tsu questioned again.

-"I remember we were confused during the battle when you switched to a bunch of completely different animals." said Jirou.

-"Yeah, and what is it called? Uraraka butted in.

Nobody noticed, but Aizawa started listening closely to the conversation now. He wanted to see how Tennyson would answer the question.

-"Oh, well…" Ben prepared to give the fake explanation that he and Naomasa wrote out, -"My Quirk is called 'DNAnimal'. I can take the traits of an animal as long as I have seen and touched them before. Then I just kinda… mesh my DNA with the one from the animals."

The reason Ben couldn't say anything about the Omnitrix is that if people thought his watch was the reason he could transform, it would be the first target anyone would try to go for to incapacitate him. It was safer to mask it as a simple digital watch than to try to explain it in a way that works in this world.

-"Oh! So that's why they have more humanoid forms right? Like how that Lizard one was bigger and stronger than any normal one." Izuku theorized.

-"Yeah, exactly! I call that one Chameleon." Ben added -'It's Chamalien, but that would raise questions.'

-"Why do you name your transformations?" Yaoyorozu questioned.

-"It's to give them an identity. Some of the DNA can cause personality shifts that affect behavior pretty heavily-"

-"Like with Rath." Iida concluded.

-"Exactly. Also, why not?" he said simply -"It's fun, easy to remember, and makes me feel like a bunch of superheroes."

-"That… is so cool!" said Kaminari.

-"Just don't let it get to your head or you'll end up like Bakugo, thinking you're better than everyone and having a trashy attitude." said Tsu.

Katsuki heard that and immediately got pissed! -"What'd you say you damn toad? I'll kick your ass!" he said while standing in his seat.

She just pointed at the boy, -"Ya see?"

-"Y'know, we just met you, so it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage." Kaminari taunted.

-"You're gonna regret the day you applied to this school you loser!" Bakugo screamed at the yellow and black-haired boy.

-"You do know you're only proving our point, right?" Ben started taunting as well, with a nice smirk on his face.

-"Shut up, Animal Boy!"

Meanwhile, Midoriya was having a crisis in his head, -'I can't believe what I'm hearing. Kacchan's the one in class who's getting teased. U.A. is so confusing!'

-"Want me to kick your ass as Rath again?" Ben wanted him to say yes.

-"That was luck! I can beat you any day!"

-"Oh really?" Ben almost got up from his seat in the face of the challenge.

Luckily, Aizawa stepped in right on time to give an announcement, -"Hey, hey, we're here. Stop messing around."

-"Yes, sir." almost the whole class answered.

-"Whatever" said Bakugo.

- Musutafu City Police Department -

Arriving at the station, the detective prepared himself for another long workday. But this wasn't just any work day, as today he would go back to Arara's apartment to see if the man had the missing alien metal. While he was confident, these last few weeks told him to always expect the unexpected.

-'And I thought I would be used to that by now.'

After getting some work done and quite a bit of free time, Naomasa felt curious about the man Ms. Kazumi mentioned yesterday. Entering the database of his district, he searched for the man's name in the files, Arata Chikara.

Nothing was major or concerning about him, just one thing that caught the detective's attention.

Chikara had been accused of stealing electronics from a store he had just been fired from. He was detained, but since none of the tech had been found in his apartment the charges were dropped and he walked away. That was years ago, but Naomasa's suspicion only grew. And the only way to be sure was to see it for himself.

Getting up and grabbing his coat, he called out to his friend at the next desk.

-"Sansa."

-"Yes, sir?" the man with the head of a cat answered.

-"Can you cover for me for a bit? I'm going out. Need some space to find clues about the incident yesterday.". It wasn't exactly a lie, it just wasn't about the incident Sansa was probably thinking about.

-"Don't worry sir. I'll contact you if anyone calls out for you." the man responded with a smile.

-"Thank you. Also, keep track of your phone, I may give you a call. In case I need backup." Naomasa wasn't a dummy. He was not about to question a suspect without at least SOME form of backup ready.

Sansa nodded in confidence. The officer trusted Naomasa with his life and had known him for years so the thought of doing something slightly off-the-books didn't even pass through his mind.

-'Good man.' thought Naomasa before flashing a smile and leaving the station.

- Unknown UA Facility -

After everyone got off the bus, they could see the giant structure in front of them. It was a giant purple and white dome-shaped building. Right in the front of the building, there was already someone waiting for them.

This person was wearing what appeared to be a white puffy jacket designed to resemble an actual space suit, a black helmet with two white markings denoting where their eyes were, which was hiding their head, and a pair of yellow boots to finish the ensemble.

-"Hello, everyone, I've been waiting for you!" said the person, in a modulated female voice.

The students all gasped at the sight.

-"It's the Space Hero, Thirteen!" said Midoriya, as enthusiastic as always. -"She's the chivalrous pro hero who's rescued a ton of people from disasters across the world."

-'Space Hero, huh? Naomasa said that nobody in the world has ever even gone to the moon yet. So what makes her have the title of the Space Hero?' Ben questioned.

-"Woo-hoo! Thirteen is one of my favorite heroes!" Uraraka excitedly said.

-"I can't wait to show you what's inside!" said Thirteen while pointing at the facility behind her.

-'This is gonna be awesome!' Everyone thought.

Entering the giant dome structure, everyone gasped at how detailed and big the place really was. There were six major zones that the students could see, all different from each other, to train them on different scenarios.

A destroyed city, a landslide, a mountain, a large lake with a ship in the middle, and two smaller domes, one with fire painted on the outside and another with a storm.

-"Holy crap! It looks like some kind of amusement park!" exclaimed Kirishima.

-"A shipwreck. A landslide. A fire. A windstorm. Etc." she then proudly spread her arms, -"I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters. I call it the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. But you can call it the USJ!" she said while pointing to the sign on the inside.

-'Just like Universal Studios Japan.' thought everyone, except one.

-'Catchy name.' thought Ben.

Aizawa approached Thirteen, -"Hey, shouldn't All Might be here already? Lemme guess, he booked an interview instead."

-"Actually, it's something else." Thirteen said the next part quietly -"Apparently he did too much hero work on the way to school this morning and used up all his power. He's resting in the teacher's lounge."

If Aizawa could facepalm without looking dumb, he would right now, -"That man is the height of irresponsibility." -'Well, we should just be okay with the two of us.' he turned to his students, -"The clock is ticking. We should get started."

-"Excellent. Before we begin, let me just say one thing. Well, maybe two things. Possibly three, four or five."

-'We get it!' The whole class thought.

-"Listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful Quirk. It's called Black Hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust."

-'She can create black holes?! Oh, what I wouldn't do to have an alien like that to use. Even if just to try. Trying something never hurts anyone, right?' Ben mistakenly thought.

-"Yeah, you've used Black Hole to save people from all kinds of disasters before, haven't you?" said Izuku, while Uraraka was just extremely excited simply to listen to her idol.

-"That's true, but my Quirk could also very easily be used to kill."

A couple of students gasped at that.

-"Some of you have powers that can be dangerous."

-"Oh." the class realized what the talk was about.

-"In our superhuman society, all Quirks are certified and strictly regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers can be deadly. Even if you're trying to do something virtuous like rescue someone."

That gave Ben a pause. He remembered how careless he acted at the beginning of his hero career. How much he used his powers for his gain without much care for collateral. How many times had he chosen an alien that was not suitable for the job and was only saved by the Omnitrix's giving him the right one? How many times had he hurt someone due to not taking the matter at the time seriously?

-"Thanks to Aizawa's fitness tests, you have a solid idea of your Quirk's potential. And because of All Might's combat training, you likely experienced how dangerous your powers can be when used against other people."

And of course… -'How many times have I killed someone by accident? Not even knowing that I did it? Forgetting to pull my punches or not caring about the face behind the mask?'

This was messing with his head. He didn't want to think about all the DNAliens or Forever Knights he killed or might have killed during his fight, without even going to check if the PEOPLE behind the helmets and mind control were okay, so he just decided to pull his head back into the present.

Thirteen continued while the whole class listened with more attention and determination than before, including Ben, -"Carry those lessons over to this class. Today, you're going to learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You won't be using your powers to attack enemies or each other, only to help. After all, that's what being a hero is all about. Ensuring the safety of others."

-'Thirteen is so cool!' thought Izuku.

-'Maybe this school can make things better for me.' Ben thought.

Thirteen bowed, -"That's all I have to say. Thank you so much for listening."

The students all cheer for her speech. How inspirational it was.

Aizawa retook the lead, -"Right. Now that that's over…"

Before he could continue though, suddenly the lights of the dome received an electrical charge and were all turned off.

The class noticed this and got confused.

In the middle of the facility, the Central Plaza that connects the simulation areas to the main entrance, the fountain in the center of it started to flicker between on and off.

And right in the front of it a purple and black smoky swirling portal that distorted the space around it was opening.

Aizawa noticed the change in atmosphere and looking back, he saw the portal enlarging. But it didn't stay that way, it transformed.

In its place now stood a giant mass of smoke, changing its form at every moment and with two yellow menacing eyes at its 'head'.

And from the center of it… came a pale hand. And later a face which was covered by a gray hand, showing only a single red eye. Pointed straight at the class.

Aizawa finally realized what was happening and called out to everyone -"Stay together and don't move!"

The students were left even more confused by that. They questioned what was happening.

-"Thirteen. Protect the students!" Aizawa mentioned it to her.

Kirishima squinted his eyes to look at what was happening in the Central Plaza -"Whoa, what is that thing?"

Everyone could now see that the purple mist had expanded with more and more people coming out of it. They had what you could describe as a ''scary look'' to them and some were even carrying weapons. They were clearly all real villains and criminals.

Kirishima moved his hand to his forehead to try to see it more clearly, -"Wait, has the training started already? I thought we were rescuing people."

-"I don't think so." Ben truly realized what was happening before them. He had years of experience with this sort of thing after all. Ben put up a determined face and was already preparing to transform, -"Those are real bad guys."

-"What?!" Izuku called out surprised.

-"Stay back!" Aizawa put up his goggles to fight -"He's right. They're villains."

The students gasped in surprise at their teacher confirming it. They were getting attacked by real villains!

From the portal, more and more villains started showing up, until the last one passed through. But it wasn't any normal villain. This one was different, he didn't even look like a human. He was a large, black humanoid monster with a very muscular body that had many scars on it. His brain was exposed on the top of his head, while his large eyes were around it. He had a beak-like mouth with an array of sharp teeth.

He only wore a pair of beige pants and metal knee pads that emulated skulls.

The purple mist spoke in a deep sophisticated voice, -"The only real heroes I see are Thirteen and Eraser Head." A sort of 'head' formed at the high center of the mist, with the two yellow eyes appearing in it, -"Perplexing. According to the schedule we retrieved from U.A., All Might should be here as well."

The villains all moved forward and spread out all across the facility, some even going towards the stairs that lead to the students.

Minus the large monster one and the guy with a hand in his face.

Speaking of said guy, he was a slim man with pale skin and a great deal of wrinkles around his eyes. He had messy, grayish-blue hair of varying lengths, left hanging over his face in uneven waves. One of his eyes and mouth are obscured by the gray hand.

He was wearing regular black pants and a shirt, with red tennis shoes. But the most disturbing aspect about him had to be the fourteen zombie-like grayish-blue embalmed hands, all positioned so they're holding onto him on different parts of his body.

They also had a golden box attached to their bases with two holes drilled into the bottom. The ones at his neck were connected by two red cords to the one that held his head from behind.

Contrary to the mist one, this villain spoke in a raspy voice, -"Where is he? I went to the trouble of bringing so many friends who were eager to meet him. They want All Might. The Great Symbol of Peace. I can't believe he's not here." He looked at the students from afar, -"Maybe if I kill a few kids, he'll come out to play."

Aizawa had heard what the purple mist villain said and came to a simple conclusion -"So you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus." At least he was relieved that that wasn't some mass elaborate plan by Tennyson.

Meanwhile Ben was thinking of a smart way to deal with this. He obviously had gone up against superpowered villains before, but not this many with such a variety of power sets at once. And not with this many people to look after either.

Eraser Head grabbed his scarf and activated his quirk, making sure the students wouldn't get targeted by any long-ranged villains.

Izuku was scared about the whole thing. It was his first week and his whole class was getting attacked! He stared at the villains and pure evil stared back.

Kirishima spoke first, -"What? Real villains? No way. How could so many of 'em get into a UA facility this secure?"

Yaoyorozu came to the front to ask -"Yeah, Thirteen. Why aren't the alarms going off?"

The pro hero sounded just as curious and confused, -"Good question. I'm not sure."

Todoroki came in to ask another important question -"Is the entire campus under attack? Or is this their only target? Either way, if the alarm sensors aren't being triggered, then one of these villains must have a Quirk that's masking their presence here."

Making sure nobody was looking at him, Ben tested that theory by instantly turning on the emergency distress signal on the Omnitrix.

Beep!

Him and Naomasa had talked about it yesterday after school and Ben was able to synchronize the signal the Omnitrix gave out to the detective's phone in case of an emergency. Like what was happening right now.

Unfortunately, the Omnitrix gave its user bad news -"SIGNAL BLOCKED."

-'Dammit! He's right. We're alone here.'

-"They carefully chose this isolated facility as an entry point at a time when a class was being taught. They're fools for trespassing here, but they've thought this out. Whatever their plan, they must have a concrete objective in mind. But what is it?"

Most of the students were more scared than ever. They questioned if THEY were the target of the villains and what they should do now.

Aizawa took steps forward to prepare to engage the enemies, -"Thirteen, get them outta here. And alert the main campus." he said to his fellow pro hero.

The class 1-A teacher thought about the situation they found themselves in a little bit more.

-"Actually, if they got the ability to block our sensors, then they might be jamming our regular communications, too." Without looking at the student, he spoke to Denki -"Kaminari, try using your Quirk to contact the school."

-"Yes, sir." The boy said.

Izuku tried to stop his teacher from going against the villains alone, -"What are you gonna do? You can't fight them on your own! There's too many of 'em. Even if you can nullify their Quirks, your fighting style is not suited for this. Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights. That's not gonna help with a group."

Ben decided it was the right time to act -"He's right."

The alien teen then stepped on to be at Aizawa's side

-"That's why I'm going with him."

The class gasped at Ben's choice.

-"Are you nuts?!" screamed Kirishima.

-"Do you WANT to die, dude?" Kaminari rhetorically asked.

-"Can't you see how many villains are down there?" Mineta tried to argue.

Without taking his eyes off his targets he said, -"Absolutely not, Thirteen will get you out of here."

-"You can't possibly be serious! Izuku is right, there are too many of them for you to fight and not get hurt. And those three in the middle look like trouble." Ben argued back.

-"I won't let any of my students get hurt if I can stop it. It's my final say in this."

Ben has never been a person who backed down from a fight, and this is no different -"I don't care. You won't stop me from fighting." He got ready to transform.

To make sure Ben followed his orders, Aizawa whispered the next part so that just Ben could hear it, -"I know who you really are Tennyson."

Said teen hero just stood there, his attention now at Aizawa just like the pro wanted it.

-"The principal told me who you really are, the whole truth."

Ben got over his initial surprise and responded, -"Then you know how powerful I am and how much help I can be."

-"Yes, but I won't let you fight. You may be from another world, but you're still my student."

The bearer of the Omnitrix almost got in front of the man to say this, -"I was a hero who saved my planet multiple times before I was your student. So if you want to stop me, you'll have to do it yourself."

The teacher said nothing to Ben, simply giving one command to his partner, -"Thirteen."

Said hero understood what he meant and grabbed Ben from behind, holding his arms in place and making sure he wouldn't try anything. The teen obviously protested -"Hey- What are you- Let me go!"

The students were left speechless by the action, but they knew their teachers were only trying to stop Ben from doing something dangerous.

-"I'll leave it to you to get them to safety, Thirteen." Aizawa said.

Said hero simply nodded, and with that confirmation, Aizawa jumped into action, holding his scarf tight.

The first line of attack from the villains saw Aizawa coming down onto them and smiling deviously.

-"Shooting squad. Take your aim!" said a guy with gun muzzles for fingertips, a white tank top, and a metal helmet.

-"Didn't our intel say it was just gonna be Thirteen and All Might out here? Who's that?" A girl with needle gray hair styled into dreadlocks and a dark purple bodysuit said next to him.

-"Don't recognize him…" said the hulking large man wearing a stitched green suit with a gray gas mask that had three bovine-like horns protruding out of it, -"...but if he thinks he can take us down easy, he's dead."

All three then moved to shoot and said -"Let's take him down!"

Unfortunately, they made a great mistake, because Eraser Head's quirk is literally to erase people's quirk while just looking at them, as long as he doesn't blink. One look at the three and all of their Quirks were instantly nullified.

The helmeted man tried shooting, but nothing came out of his fingertips -"Uh! My Quirk."

-"Where're my bullets?" The large man said.

The woman's hair also simply fell on her face.

Aizawa took the opportunity to wrap all three on his scarf, lift them all up, and make them crash their heads onto each other, rendering them unconscious.

Going back with the students, they were already moving to leave the facility, with Thirteen at the front. She had released Ben after Aizawa was far enough and surprisingly the boy didn't offer much resistance against running away.

But that doesn't mean he agreed with that choice. This was just to convince Thirteen and the class that he was with their decision. Now truly was the time to act.

Izuku, who was beside him, noticed the look on Ben's face, -"Hey, Ben are you okay?"

Without saying anything, Ben immediately turned around and started running back to where Aizawa had gone.

His green-haired friend tried to stop him -"Wait, BEN! Don't go!" he followed the alien teen.

-"Midoriya!" Iida called out.

But nothing was stopping the 16-year-old from fighting this battle. He ran as fast as he could, while bringing up the Omnitrix and already selecting the right alien for the job.

-"IT'S HERO TIME!"

And when he decided on it, the usual green light could be seen jumping down the giant set or stairs towards the fight.

…while being followed by a green costumed teenager.

The villains watching gasped as obviously they were surprised by such a technique from someone they didn't even know was going to be there.

One of the villains called out to the others -"Idiots. That's Eraser Head! A pro! He can cancel your Quirks just by looking at you."

-"Cancellation?" said a muscular man with a rocky grayish-blue body and two extra arms on his back. He wore a black mask with yellow lines, cargo pants, and black boots, -"Bet you can't erase the Quirk of a heteromorphic type like me, can you?"

He ran towards Aizawa and jumped to land a punch right in the pro's face.

That is… if he wasn't hit in his own face first. Making him fly away and hit three other villains on his way to the ground, on the other side of the facility.

Aizawa was just as surprised as the villains watching were to this new arrival. When he looked at who threw the punch, what he saw left him speechless.

It could only be described as a somewhat humanoid dinosaur standing about twelve feet tall with hard skin that is colored brown on its outer side and beige on its inner side. The plates on his chest ended in spikes and he had spikes above his eyes. He had gray fingernails, a big chin and green eyes of the same hue as the Omnitrix symbol that sat on his chest.

This was Ben's Vaxasaurian form… -"HUMUNGOUSAUR!"

The gigantic dinosaur looked down at Aizawa and spoke in a more calm voice, but it was still very deep, -"Come down, teach. It's me."

After looking at the symbol on his chest, Aizawa realized who it was. -"Tennyson?" and then got angry, -"I told you to stay there."

-"I'm just as much of a hero as you, and I'm tired of pretending I'm not. I'm not running away." he pointed at the pro with his giant finger, -"So you can either fight with me or against me."

The pro looked at the villains surrounding them, then at the determined face of his, now giant, student and considered his slim options at the moment. Reluctantly, he sighed and made the hard choice, -"Alright. But you follow my lead."

Humungousaur finally smiled, -"I can work with that. Now that's what I'm talking about!"

Aizawa turned to the crowd of villains that were still perplexed by that feat of strength, -"So which one of you gutter punks is next?"

Humungousaur brought his fists together to intimidate them, -"I've got a whole lot of frustration to take out."

They both engaged everyone.

- Kazumi's Building -

The Detective pulled up to the street across from the building of his suspect about 20 minutes after leaving the station. Naomosa adjusted his jacket as he stepped out of his vehicle, gazing upon the brick structure and sighing annoyed.

He looked down at his notepad that he had scribbled the surprising information on the suspect he found out in the database back at the station. He lived in apartment 2D which was on the second floor, above the woman he had spoken to the day prior.

He walked to the right floor and door number. Making sure he mentally prepared for anything, he rang the doorbell and waited…

And waited…

And waited a bit more…

Worried, he rang the doorbell again.

Still no answer. That's not good.

This time he knocked loudly three times on the door -"Mr. Chikara? This is the Police Department." the detective called out to the man.

Nothing. Not even a sound of movement inside.

-'This is why I should always bring a warrant.' Naomasa sighed, annoyed at the fact he couldn't just burst in.

Since he couldn't do anything about it, as he didn't want to just burst in and risk someone seeing him, the detective decided to go back to the station and try it from another angle.

But right as he was going down the stairs, a sound surprised him. The sound of glass breaking.

CRACK!

Running down the stairs faster and getting out of the building, he saw shards of glass scattered around the sidewalk. And looking up, sure enough, the window from Chikara's apartment was broken, from the inside out.

Naomasa could not see anybody on the street. This didn't make any sense to him. He had read in Chiraka's file that his Quirk was to release small electrical charges, close to a regular taser in power, not flying, invisibility, or teleportation.

-'This isn't good at all.' He ran back to the apartment while trying to call back to Sansa and have him try to track Chiraka's phone.

-"Hello sir, everything okay?" Came the voice of his cat-like co-worker on the phone.

-"Sansa, I need you to track someone's phone for me! Fast!"

The officer did not take the time to question it, he trusted Naomasa -"Who is it?"

-"Arata Chikara. He's a resident at 2-7-3, apartment 302! I'm at this address at the moment." He said as he was running up the stairs.

-"Alright, I'll get you back in a few minutes."

-"Thank you." He hung up. Finally reaching the door, he grabbed his gun, took cover and knocked again, more aggressively this time -"Open the door, this is the police!"

Since nobody was answering again, he simply kicked the door open and entered the apartment.

But what he saw there was… gruesome -"Oh my god…"

- U.S.J. Central Plaza -

From far away, the blue haired pale villain was watching Ben and Aizawa making quick work of his lackeys. He started to scratch his neck a little in annoyance.

-"Dammit…" he looked on -"If it was just Eraser Head here, this would have been easy, but that giant besides him is making things difficult."

The two heroes continued to beat up their adversaries. Aizawa was erasing the Quirks of as many people as possible while Ben one-punched them to get them out-of-commision.

One villain who seemed to be made out of paper runes and had large red eyes perfectly displayed in his body raised his hands and launched sharp shards from his square fingers towards Humungousaur.

Obviously the shards weren't able to penetrate his Vaxasaurian form, in fact the hero could barely even feel them. He simply turned to look at the villain, and when noticing his paper-like body he just smiled and blew air to make him fly.

-"They're both strong." The pale leader said while analyzing them, -"That dinosaur looking student is way physically stronger than any of these guys. And since Eraser Head is hiding behind those goggles, you can't tell whose Quirk that might work on him he's erasing."

The onslaught of the two heroes from different universes was extraordinary to watch. Aizawa's agility and power combined with the raw strength of Ben's Vaxasaurian form was an unmatched duo.

-"How annoying. The worst thing about dealing with pros is when they live up to all their hype. It's worse when you know that kid's not even a pro, but he sure fights like one." Then he noticed someone behind the two heroes coming down the stairs -"Huh? A new player?"

One of the henchmen, who had a leach-like face and body, tried attacking Humungousaur from behind while he was distracted by the ones in front of him. He laughed and powered up his mouth to shoot but was interrupted by someone shouting, -"LOOK OUT!"

Ben recognized the voice and looked behind him, seeing Midoriya coming down the stairs and the villain charging up. -'Izuku?' he thought.

Using his tail, he hit the leach guy far away, most likely knocking him out.

-"What are you doing down here?" Ben asked, while defending him from anyone trying to come too close.

Aizawa saw the commotion and his eyes widened more than they are used to when he saw Midoriya there with them -"I ordered you to go with Thirteen!" he said while still paying attention to the villains.

-"I couldn't just let you two fight all of them alone." Izuku remembered the day he met All Might. The action that by his idol's eyes made him worthy of One For All. The feeling true heroes get when seeing danger. -"I just… acted on instinct."

-"It's a nice sentiment…"

-"But now you're in danger. Tennyson, get him out of here." Aizawa ordered.

-"And leave you here fighting everyone alone?"

-"No way we leave you!" the green-haired boy stood his ground.

-"You already helped enough. You shortened my load by a lot, now get him back there." he gave the order again.

The alien hero quickly realized they were still surrounded by a bunch of villains, all together closing in fast on them, probably feeling really threatened by their force. But Ben had an idea -"I have a better idea. Jump on my back, Fast!" he crouched down for them to get up.

Aizawa and Izuku trusted the boy after seeing him fight and jumped on Humungousaur's back. -"What's your plan?" Midoriya said right in his ear.

-"You two hold on tight." With that, Ben gave it one second before gathering his strength and jumping as high as he could!

Everyone looked up, thinking they were trying to run away, -"Ha ha! They're scared!" said one man with claws for fingers and eyes bugging out of his head.

-"Yeah! You better run heroes!" a woman with gorilla arms shouted.

As soon as they both hit the highest altitude before falling, which was almost touching the sealing, Ben warned them -"Now hold as hard as you can!"

-"Wait, Ben-" but Aizawa didn't have time to finish his sentence as they started falling fast. He just kept looking at the purple mist guy so that he didn't try anything.

While falling, Humungousaur increased his size to 60 feet, making his dinosaur features become more pronounced, including growing plates on his back, a crest on his forehead, and a set of spikes on his tail. The plats on his shoulders and arms also separated and grew.

None of the villains below realized fast enough what was going to happen before Humungousaur came crashing down feet first, creating a MASSIVE shockwave, cracking the entire Central Plaza.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

-"AAAHHHHHH!" their screams were heard.

…

…

The giant shockwave sent most unprepared villains through the air while incapacitating almost all of them as well.

The only one who saw it coming was their handy leader and his second-in-command. The pale villain quickly ordered the big bird-like villain next to him to come into the front and protect him from the blast.

When the initial smoke cleared, the battlefield was silent as only a couple of thugs weren't blown away by the shockwave.

And right in the middle, there was only Humungousaur left standing, back to his base form and with his two passengers still intact. -"No… they ruined my army." the pale leader said.

-"Do not fret Tomura Shigaraki, our plan can still work." said the purple mist villain next to him.

The villain leader, now identified as Shigaraki, stopped panicking and put his trust in his comrade.

Meanwhile, Ben caught his breath a little and asked to see how his friends were, -"Are you two okay?"

-"I'm fine, just a little d-dizzy." said a clearly disoriented Midoriya.

-"I'm… okay." said Aizawa, trying to get his bearings straight, while getting off of Ben.

-"Hold on, I'll clear the dust." He put his hands apart and then clapped them together for a powerful shockwave that spread and cleared all rest of the dust in the area.

But now that they could see, their worries increased as in front of them there were only two villains, Shigaraki and the big bird guy.

-"Wait, where did the teleporting guy go?" Izuku worried, -'If he tried to intercept our class, they won't be able to get reinforcements! The teachers won't know we're under attack!'

Aizawa meanwhile was blaming himself for that, -'Damn! I couldn't see him with all the dust and he got away!'

-"Where did your little buddy go?" Humungousaur asked Shigaraki from a distance -"Seems like he abandoned you."

-"Oh don't worry. He's doing his job." Shigaraki said, smiling under that hand.

On the top of the stairs, the students and Thirteen all ran as fast as they could towards the exit. But they all stopped once they heard what sounded like an explosion from behind them and the ground shaked.

-"Wh-What was that?" Mina asked, scared while looking at the giant cloud of dust that rose from the center of the facility.

-"I… don't know." said Thirteen, -"But we should keep going." She tried to encourage the students.

-"But what about them?" Uraraka asked, worried about her friends and teacher.

-"I would be disgraceful to just leave them there!" Iida tried to argue.

And Momo backed him up, -"They might be seriously hurt!"

-"If more of us try to go down there, we may be caught in a fight we can't escape! Getting far away from the signal blocker and contacting the school is the safer choice." Thirteen argued back.

The class took a second to think about this. Going back might lead them all to a fight they can not win, maybe even to their demise. There were some who didn't want to run, like Bakugou and Kirishima, but the rest were scared.

-"Your friends know how to fight, I've seen the clips from the Battle Trials. And Aizawa is a pro. We have to trust them."

They all thought about the possibilities for a moment and reluctantly agreed, with Uraraka talking for everyone -"Alright…"

Thirteen sighed in relief that they wouldn't try to run back like Ben and Izuku did, -"Good, now let's escape before they get into more trouble."

-"There's no escape for you." said a voice from seemingly nowhere.

Right in front of the class, blocking the passage to the exit, the purple mist villain materialized. With his deep, sophisticated and calm voice he introduced himself.

-"It's a pleasure to meet you. We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves into this haven of justice to say hello."

Thirteen started to back them all up and stood in the front to protect them from anything the villain might try to do.

-"And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath?"

The students gasped at that revelation. Being able to All Might was an unthinkable thought!

-"I believe he was supposed to be here today, and yet I see no sign of him. There must've been some sort of change in plans we could not have foreseen."

Thirteen opened one of her finger hatches in preparation to use her power. The villain was also extending himself for the same reason.

-"Ah, well, in the end, I suppose it doesn't matter. I still have a role to play."

Before any of the adults could act, they were both interrupted by Bakugou and Kirishima jumping in to try to attack the mist villain.

-"AAARGH!" Both of them screamed while punching and generating a big explosion.

BOOM!

-"Did ya think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds?" He may have sounded quippy and confident, but Kirishima was really scared at the moment.

Him and Bakugou were.

-You live up to your school's reputation. You and your friends down there are a worthy annoyance." the mist villain said while reforming himself. It appeared that he had some sort of metal case protecting his body from inside the mist -"But you should be more careful, children. Otherwise someone might get hurt."

-"You two, get out of the way, right now!" Thirteen called out.

-"I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades, and your deaths!" He said, making his purple teleporting mist spread everywhere to encompass all the people there.

-"Crap. What is this?!" Asked Kirishima.

Tenya wanted nothing more than to make sure his friends were okay, -'Can't let this villain separate us! I'll try to grab as many people as I can!'

He ran and grabbed Uraraka and Yaoyorozu, pulling them outside the mist and thus saving them from being teleported somewhere else.

-"I'll go back in!" Iida said, already entering the bubble again.

The people still inside were confused and scared. Shoji was protecting Kaminari and Tsuyu with his large arms.

Iida could barely see, there was only one person in his field of view. He grabbed them and ran trying to pull them out.

But as soon as he got out, he noticed that they were in another place entirely, close to a mountain.

-"Oh no…" he realized, holding his head in frustration, "I wasn't fast enough… we got separated."

-"It's okay." A voice came from behind him -"All we need to do is figure out their plan, regroup and stop them."

It was Todoroki. He understood that they couldn't freak out at the moment, so Iida put himself together and started formulating a plan in his head, -"You're right." looking around he recognized where they were, -"It seems we ended up in the Mountain Zone."

Not even a minute later, a bunch of villains started showing up and attacking them -"Get them boys!" one of them said.

The two students got ready to repel the attack and protect themselves.

The three heroes at the center did not like not knowing what the warp villain was doing, but they needed to end this quickly. Aizawa's eye was getting dry and the man himself could not keep this up for too long.

Looking at the big boss villain in front of them, Ben recognized the blue hair, black clothes and pale skin he saw the day before at the UA Entrance -"So, you're the guy that invaded our school yesterday, right? Why don't you tell me how you did it and why you're doing all of this."

-"I would love to talk more, but you're not our main objective here. You're just the tutorial." Shigaraki said.

-"Oh you like video games? Did you learn nothing watching the bad guys always losing?" Humungousaur rhetorically asked.

-"That's the one issue with them. But I'll fix that right now. This is my friend, Nomu." He gestured to the big bird-like guy on his left. -"Nomu… Kill that one." He pointed to Humungousaur.

Without even hesitating, the Nomu charged forward faster than anything could believe and ended up in front of Ben.

-"Huh?" was the only thing he was able to say before getting a strong punch to the face, making him fly backwards until he hit the bottom of the stairs.

-"Ben!" shouted Izuku.

-"Tennyson!" Shouted Aizawa.

-'Ugh… That guy is strong.' Ben tried to get himself up again, but Nomu was already right in front of him punching him down more and more, breaking the stairs and the ground in the process.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Each punch accompanied a minor shockwave. Nomu was not letting Ben take a second to get back up. He picked up Ben and threw him high and far away. Crash!

The pro and the student could only watch them. Aizawa tried erasing Nomu's Quirk, but he didn't know why it wasn't working. -'I'm positive I'm erasing his Quirk, that means he's super strong even without powers. You have to hold on Ben, use your head!'

Shigaraki brought their attention back to him. -"He's bioengineered to be the anti-Symbol of Peace. He's as strong as All Might, and will be the one to kill him."

-'So that's what their true goal is with all of this. To kill All Might.' Izuku thought about everything happening up until now. Them stealing the plans for today's class, having an easy way in with that warp Quirk, gathering this many villains to kill the students and teachers, and making sure the class couldn't contact the outside world -'If they thought all of this out, then that means what he said could very well be true.'

The green haired boy thought about all those months he spent finally getting to know and work with his idol. How they fully trusted each other since then. Midoriya could not let it all go to waste before his mentor got to experience a world of peace and make him proud!

-'I won't let them do it, no matter what!' Izuku looked at his teacher with new-found determination in his face and voice, -"What's the plan, sir?"

Aizawa looked at Deku and noticed how serious he was, -'I can see on his face that he won't back down on this, no matter what I say. But I can't let him get too close to that main villain without even knowing his Quirk.' Aizawa then formulated a plan in his head, -"Tennyson's out there fighting that Nomu thing by himself and there are still some thugs around us. I want you to use one of those fingers at max power on my signal. Got it?"

-"Got it!" came the response from the student.

-"What's the matter, Eraser Head?" Shigaraki tried to taunt them, -"Afraid to fight us and leave your little brat there defenseless?"

The remaining ten or so minor villains all gathered right in front of Aizawa and Izuku. Just like they thought they would.

Aizawa then activated his Quirk, making sure that everyone in front of him had their Quirk erased, including the pale leader.

-"Wait, what happened to my power?" one of the villains asked himself.

Before any of them could figure out their plan, Aizawa called out to his student -"Now!"

Izuku then steadied himself, crouched down, activated One For All and positioned his fingers pointing right at everyone -"Delaware Smash!" he shouted while flickering his fingers, creating a powerful shockwave that even broke the ground!

-"AAHHH!" you could hear the scream of the villains getting thrown again, this time for good.

Shigaraki could not predict such a powerful move from the kid and was blasted as well, hitting his back and landing right inside the fountain. The hand in his face had fallen off in the water.

-"I can't believe it… it worked!" Midoriya was relieved. Sure, one of his fingers was broken, but it was a small price to pay for beating everyone there, and he could get that fixed with Recovery Girl… alongside a scolding from the same woman.

But before wasting any time, Aizawa went to work in making sure all the henchmen were indeed taken out for good, hitting the heads of everyone who even slightly moved. Eventually he set his eyes on the man that planned all of this, who was still inside the fountain, -"Final boss…"

Going back to Ben's fight against Nomu… it wasn't going well.

Humungousaur was clearly not strong enough to beat the bioengineered menace in front of him, so he had to think smarter than this. -'I can't draw this out, everyone else might need my help. That purple villain could have caught up with the rest of the class and prevented them from escaping. We probably won't be getting reinforcements soon, so we're on our own here.'

His thought process was interrupted again when Nomu threw its body against him with enough force to send him far away and fracture the dome wall from the Downpour Zone.

-'I need to switch to someone more effective!'Humungousaur got up and saw Nomu heading for him faster than before. -'Please give me something good, Omnitrix.' He only had enough time to slap the dial of the Omnitrix, switching to a new alien that hopefully was strong enough to beat Nomu.

Luckly, the watch gave him someone even better. Ben's body now resembled a humanoid, moth-like alien, with four wings and two antennae-like wing folds. He had a black body with blue patching on his slender chest, and running along his legs and arms, the latter reaching up to the back of his neck. He had cyan patches that resembled ice chunks on his legs and arms. Thick black lines border the back end of each wing, which also contained three cyan patches of their own.

His face was now blue, but with harsh black lines surrounding his eyes and mouth, which all met at the center of his face. He also had a black marking on his head that extended over his scalp, forcing the remaining blue parts of his forehead into a Y-shape. His eyes were bright green, with small darker spots inside. His mouth was a frown showing four blueish-white teeth. He had three pointed fingers and a thumb on each hand, and three toes on each foot: two in front and one behind.

He wore the Omnitrix symbol on his chest like usual. This was Ben's Necrofriggian form… -"BIG CHILL!" he said in a raspy cold voice.

Before Nomu could actually hit Ben, he simply turned intangible, making his body almost invisible to the eye and Nomu's hand to just pass through him like nothing.

Without wasting time, Big Chill passed through inside Nomu's body, instantly freezing its entire being on the outside, just not his head.

-"Now let's see how well you do against this." he said with much confidence in his voice.

But his confidence quickly ran out when he saw Nomu's strength surpassing his ice casing, breaking it and his arm alongside the process. And in just a few seconds, his arm grew back, muscle by muscle.

Big Chill widened his eyes and worried a lot, -"Regeneration? Aw man." Making sure his enemy wouldn't get the best of him, he breathed a beam of temperature below zero, freezing Nomu completely this time. But even then, he didn't think it was enough, -"I have to go back to the others."

With that, he sprouted his wings more and flew off towards where Aizawa and Izuku were. He never saw the ice slowly breaking apart.

- A Few Minutes Earlier -

At the top of the stairs, there was still a group of seven students alongside Thirteen, including Momo, Uraraka, Mina and Mineta. They were relieved that they were still alive and together, but didn't know where most of the class ended up.

What saved them from being transported, was a thin line of ice covering what appeared to be the villains real body that was obscured by his shadowy purple mist. And he noticed this.

-'That pest froze me before I could teleport the rest. If I knew his power I would have sent him to another area of the facility. No matter.' He easily broke the ice at his feet, -'I still can't allow them to pass through.'

-"What do we do? The guy's not affected by physical attacks and can apparently teleport stuff." Said the student with weird round elbows.

Thirteen worked overtime on her mind to formulate a plan, -'If the class rep was here, I could send him to go warn the school while we distracted this villain, but none of us is fast enough on our own to reach the main campus before he caught up with us. We need to take him down, but how?'

Thirteen then thought of something that might work. It was a risk, but one that she needed to take. If his power worked the way she thought it did, then it was worth it.

She turned to her students, -"Class, stay far behind me and don't engage unless I tell you to!"

-"What is this?" the villain mocked, -"You think that keeping them away from me is protecting them? I'll just teleport them to their deaths!" he launched his misty tendrils to try to cover them all again.

But he was interrupted when Thirteen opened up two of her fingers and activated her Quirk, -"Black Hole!"

She sucked up every bit of purple mist that was coming off him. His 'body' mass was slowly getting smaller and smaller.

-'Damn it! She's powerful!' he thought while in minor danger, -"Using such a powerful and deadly Quirk right besides your students? I thought you were a rescue hero, Thirteen."

He was trying to get under the hero's skin, trying to make her stop using Black Hole, but she would not falter. Her students were holding on to the railing at the intense gravitational force of her power.

The villain thought a little more and almost chuckled to himself when finding such an easy solution -"I recognize and admit you're skilled at saving people from disasters. But consequently, that means you have little fighting experience or battlefield awareness."

At that, he opened a small portal in front of him, leading to right behind Thirteen, making her yelp in surprise at such a trick, -"He opened a warp gate!"

Her costume started to rip out from the back and the gate only grew larger and more powerful, making her rip apart her own body.

The students gasped as they watched Thirteen get taken out by her own power.

The villain breathed a sigh of release and closed the gate, -"How unfortunate. You've turned yourself into dust." it was clear it took a lot of him to do that.

-"Thirteen!" Uraraka called out worried about her idol and teacher.

-"I'm sorry. He got me." she said, deactivating her Quirk and falling to the ground, injured.

Uraraka and Yaoyorozu went up to the ground by her side to see if she was okay, -"Thirteen! Can you speak?"

-"I… I'm so- sorry my… students." she tried to say while grunting and in pain from having her skin peeled off -"I… failed you…"

-"Don't say that! We'll get you out of here!" Ochaco cried out. That last thing she would do was abandon her friends or make her teacher feel disappointed in her. -"We can make a plan, right Momo?"

Yaoyorozu looked at her thinking about what to do. She then saw everyone there with them looking at her as well and the villain ready to attack. Her mind drifted back to when her classmates complimented her ability to quickly formulate plans. She would not fail them now.

The girl looked at the villain that was still gaining his strength back -'If Todoroki was able to freeze him, then he must have a real body somewhere hidden behind all that mist. It's clear that Black Hole disintegrated a lot of that, so he stopped just for a moment. That's his weakness.'

-"What do we do, vice-president?" the muscular boy in the yellow suit asked worriedly.

Momo got up and put up a determined face. She looked at everyone and made a signal to get closer to her while still keeping an eye on the villain. She whispered to them her plan.

The purple mist villain finally felt like his strength got back to him and saw that the students in front of him were dispersing a little.

-'I can finally warp these ones to the other areas. Then nobody will come to save them.'

He heard a student shout, -"Alright Tokoyami! Let's go before he can stop us!" Momo started running and the boy with the bird head, Tokoyami, nodded and went along.

They both ran towards the exit, trying to avoid the villains in front of them. He noticed they were running past him and instantly tried to stop them -"You petulant children! Be gone!"

Both students were encased by his mist, but something different then what he had planned happened.

-"Huh?" He felt lighter, like his mass had disappeared, -"What?!"

Turns out that while distracted, Uraraka had touched the exposed metal part of his body and made him float.

-"Now!" Yaoyorozu shouted.

Tokoyami then turned back and released his Quirk -"Dark Shadow, Go!" Then from within his body, a shadowy, monster-like being with yellow glowing eyes emerged and went to pick up the floating villain.

It threw him up spinning fast, making him extremely disoriented. Then Momo shouted again, -"Now, Sato!"

A boy with spiky brown hair wearing spandex jumped high until reaching the altitude of the villain. -"Take this!" He then flexed his muscles and punched him on that same weak spot really hard, making him fly down fast and hit the ground hard!

CRACK!

-"Ugh…" He groaned -'I should have not underestimated them. They got the best of me while I was weak.' he tried getting up, but suddenly stopped. -"What?"

He could not see, but his neck metal armor had been caught stuck in Mineta's purple sticky balls.

-"What is this?" He tried to get out, but he just couldn't. Before he could try to open a warp gate, four hands touched him and started to hold him down. It was Mina's and Sato's.

-"If you don't want me to melt this little thing and expose your real head, then you better not open a portal OR move a muscle." Mina said, trying to be threatening.

The villain could only growl in annoyance. -'How did they beat me?!'

Yaoyorozu got up to his face, -"You are the one who won't be escaping today, villain."

THUMP!

Out of nowhere, a sound echoed through the facility. -"What's that?" Uraraka asked.

THUMP!

It sounded like someone heavy was climbing the facility from the outside.

Thump!

The sound started to drift far away more and more, like it was aiming at the middle of the USJ.

-"I don't know, but it can't be good."

- USJ's Central Plaza -

Back towards the center of the action, Aizawa was narrowing his eyes at the downed Shigaraki and getting close to him. Izuku was just watching from a safe distance.

He looked to be down for the count, but as soon as Aizawa got just a little bit relaxed, Shigaraki, with his creepy hand back on his face, opened his eyes and threw a lot of water right at Aizawa's gaggles.

-"Ahgr!" It might not have hit his actual eyes, but it was enough to make him blink in confusion and impair his vision for a few seconds. Tomura took that opportunity to try to use his Quirk on the pro by grabbing his arms.

And that single second cost him greatly, because as soon as Shigaraki touched one of Aizawa's forearms, it started turning gray and disintegrating.

-"AAHHH!" Aizawa screamed and kicked Shigaraki in the gut to get him away, but that didn't stop what came next.

Thump.

His hand fell off.

Shota looked at it, then at his forearm, then at Shigaraki. He was in great pain, but still used his Quirk to erase Tomura's. The pro started backing away from him.

But the villain slowly followed, -"You and those two brats won't stop me from achieving my goal today."

Midoriya could not believe what he just watched -"Mr. Aizawa..." he said in a low voice. The boy wanted nothing more than to help his teacher, but he didn't know what to do at this instant. He thought about just jumping in, but that could lead to both their deaths.

Lucky for him, his friend just came back -"Izuku!" Ben called out.

-"Huh?" Midoriya turned to see the form of Big Chill -"Ahh!" He got ready to fight.

-"Wait, wait, wait, it's me! Ben!"

-"Ben?" Deku questioned. In his mind, there was no animal on Earth that even resembled what Ben was transformed into at the moment.

-"No time to explain. Where's Aizawa?" He asked.

Midoriya's mind went back to the present, -"He's fighting their leader!" Then he pointed at both of them.

Ben saw how the pro hero was clutching his arm and the fallen hand on the ground -"Oh no. Come on!"

He quickly flew to meet the two and help his teacher, with Midoriya following him.

Shigaraki was still walking slowly towards Aizawa. He could see that the pro was tired and losing a lot of blood like that made him dizzy. In his mind, it was only a matter of time.

-"I wish you could live long enough to see me kill at least a few of your students. Such a shame. You may have a useful Quirk, but without that, you're just like quirkless nobody. And now, you won't even be able to fight well!" He said that last part with glee.

Shota could not let that distract him. He knew what Shigaraki was doing, trying to get into his head, but nothing was going to stop him from making sure his students were safe.

-"He won't need to." said a disembodied voice.

Tomura looked around, but there was nothing there, until someone just materialized in front of him. He was so surprised at the appearance that he was not able to evade the large mass of cold breath that came from this person's mouth, freezing him instantly, leaving only his head out.

-"Don't worry sir, it's me, Ben." Big Chill said to calm Aizawa and not have him attack the boy.

He finally breathed a sigh of relief. Ben then picked him up and took him away from Shigaraki and right beside Midoriya, so he could have some support. Big Chill then transformed back to Ben, with the usual Omnitrix sound and green light.

-"Sir, are you okay?" Deku asked, extremely worried for his teacher's health.

-"I'll live. Thank you." He then looked at Ben -"Both of you."

The teen nodded -"That's what we're here for. Come one Izuku, let's get him away from here."

But then, all three of them heard the sound of ice breaking. They turned around and saw Shigaraki getting free.

-'Shit.' He looked at his two students, -"Don't engage! He can disintegrate you with a touch."

-"How did you beat my Nomu?" Shigaraki screamed in anger at Ben. -"He was crafted to be able to beat All Might! You're just a child!"

-"You mean big, mean and ugly back there? I'll do to you what I did to him if you don't back down right now!" Ben shouted back. If he could avoid a fight with someone who can kill with a touch, then he would. Especially with two other people not as fast or powerful as him.

-'Where's Kurogiri? He should have been back by now!'Tomura thought, getting frustrated that his plan had fallen apart, -"You know Eraser Head? Maybe I will get that wish fulfilled!" he smiled as he was about to attack the three of them.

BOOOOM!

But right before he could do so, the ceiling of the USJ right in the middle of the confrontation of both sides was totally destroyed by something crashing in.

CRASH! Thump!

It landed right in between Shigaraki and Ben. And when the alien teen saw what it was, he just couldn't believe it. -"No… it can't be here… how is it here?!"

-"What is that thing?!" Izuku asked Ben.

Aizawa looked afraid, this was spiraling out of his control -"Ben!" He tried calling out, but the teen was in a trance.

That was because right in front of them, stood a giant alien robot, colored brown and orange, with a handful of parts being white, grayish-blue and a bunch of other colors, with red and black circuitry. It almost looked like it was built with a lot of parts and mechanisms from different vehicles.

Ben was entirely familiar with this type of machine. It was one of Vilgax's old mechadroids!

It had two red eyes on its small head at the top, and looking right at Ben, it said in a mechanized voice…

-"OMNITRIX BEARER FOUND! ENGAGING TARGET!"

Ben gulped, and said the only thing he could muster, -"Oh crap!"
