...

As Booker T set Dolph Ziggler up for a devastating Scissors Kick, and Randy Savage slowly dragged himself back to his feet amidst the absolute carnage, and the fans in the Time Warner Cable Arena remained standing on their feet, completely captivated by a fourteen man main event that was spiraling wildly out of control, a true instant classic that was far from reaching its final, definitive conclusion.

Booker T bounced off the ropes, accelerating to maximum velocity, and launched his body high into the air. He drove his massive leg down across the back of Dolph Ziggler's neck with a catastrophic, picture perfect Scissors Kick!

The impact echoed with a sickening thud over the roar of the Charlotte crowd. Booker, entirely exhausted from the sheer physical toll of the chaotic brawl, threw his arm over Ziggler's chest, hooking the leg tightly as the referee dove to the mat.

"Scissors Kick!" Cole shrieked, his voice cracking. "Booker T has him! This war could be over right now!"

One!

Two!

From out of absolutely nowhere, Kofi Kingston vaulted himself over the top rope, soaring through the air with terrifying precision, and crashed down with a double axe handle directly onto the back of Booker T's head, breaking up the pinfall at the absolute last microsecond!

"And the Undisputed System survives again!" JBL cheered, throwing his hands up in relief. "That is the awareness of a former Intercontinental Champion! Kofi Kingston just saved the match, Michael! That is textbook tag team wrestling!"

"It's textbook interference, John!" Lawler fired back, his face red with frustration. "They can't win a fair fight, so they have to constantly resort to this chaotic numbers game!"

The referee, his face flushed and his voice completely hoarse from screaming, finally reached his breaking point. The official stepped into the center of the ring, physically shoving Kofi Kingston backward. He pointed aggressively toward the ring aprons, threatening to throw the entire match out as a no contest if order was not immediately restored.

The threat of a completely unresolved main event finally forced the twelve illegal men to begrudgingly back down. Slowly, the ring cleared, leaving a battered Booker T and an unconscious Dolph Ziggler to begin the agonizing, dramatic crawl toward their respective corners.

"The official is finally laying down the law," Cole noted, catching his breath as the broadcast settled back into the structure of a traditional contest. "Both teams are retreating to the aprons. We are about to see this match reset, and with the sheer talent standing on the outside, this is going to turn into an absolute wrestling clinic."

Booker T lunged forward, slapping the outstretched hand of Chris Jericho. At the exact same moment, Ziggler blindly tagged Xavier Woods.

The dynamic of the fourteen man war instantly shifted gears. Xavier Woods springboarded over the top rope, utilizing his incredible cruiserweight agility, but Jericho, operating with the cold, calculating veteran instincts of the Painmaker, was ready.

Jericho ducked a wild flying clothesline, caught Woods by the waist, and executed a flawless, high angle bridging Tiger Suplex!

One! Two! Woods managed to kick out, scrambling to his feet. Woods threw a rapid fire combination of martial arts kicks, but Jericho blocked them, responding with a blistering, echoing knife edge chop to Woods' chest that silenced the arena.

Jericho hit the ropes, caught Woods with a running bulldog, and immediately sprang to his feet, hitting his signature Lionsault!

"The Painmaker is putting on a masterclass in ring generalship!" Lawler applauded. "Woods has the speed, but Jericho has the experience!"

Jericho dragged Woods to the hostile corner, slapping the taped hand of CM Punk. The Voice of the Voiceless entered the ring like a man possessed. Punk ascended the top turnbuckle with lightning speed, launching himself into the air and connecting with a devastating flying clothesline that turned Woods inside out.

Punk immediately transitioned the momentum into the Anaconda Vise, locking the submission hold in dead center of the ring!

Woods screamed in agony, desperately clawing at the canvas.

"Punk has it locked in!" Cole yelled. "Woods is going to tap! The Undisputed System is going to lose!"

"Woods has too much heart for that!" JBL argued frantically. "Look at him fight!"

Unable to reach the ropes, Woods used his incredible core strength to roll his body backward, forcing Punk's shoulders to the mat for a pinfall attempt. The referee dropped to count, forcing Punk to break the submission at two to save himself. Both men scrambled to their feet.

Woods hit a desperate enzuigiri kick to the side of Punk's head and launched himself toward his corner, tagging in the bare knuckle brawler, Wade Barrett.

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champion stepped over the top rope, immediately targeting the heavily taped ribs of CM Punk. Barrett unleashed a brutal, methodical assault, driving stiff knees into Punk's midsection and delivering heavy, measured right hands that completely grounded the Chicago native.

"Barrett is a brilliant tactician," JBL praised as Barrett locked Punk in a punishing abdominal stretch. "He knows Punk is compromised. He is dismantling the rebellion piece by piece!"

"It's hard to watch," Lawler winced. "Punk is in absolute agony, but he refuses to give up."

Punk, fueled by the sheer, deafening chants of his name from the Charlotte crowd, bit his lip and managed to hip toss his way out of the abdominal stretch.

Barrett charged forward, looking for the Bull Hammer elbow, but Punk ducked, catching Barrett with a high knee to the jaw in the corner, followed immediately by a swinging neckbreaker!

Punk crawled to his corner, reaching out, and tagged the reigning Intercontinental Champion, Sheamus!

The Celtic Warrior entered the ring like a localized hurricane. Barrett threw a right hand, but Sheamus absorbed it, responding with a brutal European uppercut, and another, and another!

Sheamus backed Barrett into the ropes, delivering a catastrophic running double axe handle that dropped the Englishman to the mat. Sheamus pounded his chest, letting out a primal roar that echoed through the arena.

Barrett, realizing he was entirely outmatched in raw power, scrambled to his corner and tagged the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre.

"Oh, business is about to be deadly!" Cole shouted in absolute delight. "The Celtic Warrior against the Scottish Psychopath! Two of the biggest, baddest, most physical men in this entire industry are about to collide!"

The two behemoths met in the center of the ring. They didn't wrestle; they brawled. McIntyre threw a massive right hand. Sheamus threw one back. The impact of their fists hitting flesh echoed through the arena like sledgehammers hitting concrete.

McIntyre hit the ropes, looking for a shoulder block, but Sheamus didn't budge. Sheamus hit the ropes, and McIntyre stood his ground. Finally, McIntyre changed tactics, hitting a devastating Glasgow Kiss headbutt that staggered Sheamus!

McIntyre quickly tagged in Ryback. The Big Guy entered the ring, looking to capitalize on the dazed Intercontinental Champion. Ryback hoisted Sheamus onto his shoulders, looking for the Shell Shocked, but Sheamus fought out with sharp elbows to the side of the head, sliding down Ryback's back and violently shoving him forward.

Sheamus lunged to his corner, tagging Big Daddy Cool, Diesel!

The WWE Hall of Famer stepped over the top rope, towering over the entire ring. Ryback, enraged and refusing to back down from anyone, charged the seven foot giant. Diesel simply raised his massive boot, catching Ryback perfectly under the chin with a catastrophic Big Boot that folded the World Tag Team Champion in half!

Ryback stumbled blindly into his own corner, accidentally tagging Kofi Kingston.

Kofi springboarded into the ring, utilizing his incredible high-flying offense to stay away from Diesel's massive grasp. Kofi hit a beautiful dropkick to the knee, bringing the giant down to size, and followed it up with a rapid fire Boom Drop. But as Kofi geared up for Trouble in Paradise, Diesel reached out, caught Kofi by the throat, and effortlessly tossed the former champion across the ring!

Diesel turned and tagged The Great One!

The Rock vaulted into the ring, and the Time Warner Cable Arena absolutely lost its mind. Kofi scrambled to his feet, but The Rock was right there waiting.

The Great One ducked a wild clothesline, hit a blistering sequence of right hands, spat into his palm, and delivered a massive smack that sent Kofi spinning. The Rock caught Kofi on the rebound, planting him with a spine shattering Samoan Drop!

"The Great One is electrifying Charlotte!" Lawler screamed.

Kofi, completely disoriented, desperately rolled toward his corner and tagged the powerhouse, Big E.

The Rock turned around, finding himself face to face with the 285 pound enforcer. Big E sneered, slapping his massive chest. The Rock smirked, raising his iconic eyebrow.

Big E charged, but The Rock sidestepped, grabbing Big E by the tights and tossing him shoulder first into the steel ring post!

The Rock turned to his corner, pointing at the man who had started the rebellion. He extended his hand, and the Macho Man Randy Savage tagged in!

Savage entered the ring, the Madness burning brightly in his eyes. Big E stumbled backward, clutching his shoulder. Savage climbed the turnbuckles, pointing to the sky, and launched himself into a devastating double axe handle that dropped the massive powerhouse to his knees.

Savage hit the ropes, rebounding with incredible speed, and connected with a running knee strike to the side of Big E's head!

"The Macho Man is a one man wrecking crew!" Cole cheered. "He is taking the fight directly to the muscle of the Undisputed System!"

But Big E was a physical anomaly. Operating on pure, terrifying strength, Big E caught Savage during a suplex attempt, reversing the momentum and driving Savage into the mat with a massive belly to belly suplex that sent the legend sliding across the canvas!

"The power of Big E is undeniable!" JBL roared. "He just suplexed a future Hall of Famer like he weighed nothing at all! The Undisputed System is taking over!"

Big E dragged Savage to his feet, looking to end the match with the Big Ending.

But suddenly, the fragile order established by the referee completely shattered. Dolph Ziggler, seeing an opportunity to end the war, illegally rushed the ring, looking to hit Savage with a superkick while he was held in Big E's grasp.

CM Punk saw the blatant cheating. He didn't wait for the official. Punk leaped over the top rope, intercepting Ziggler with a catastrophic running knee to the jaw that knocked the Showoff out cold!

Xavier Woods ran in to attack Punk, but Chris Jericho followed, hitting Woods with a brutal Codebreaker!

Wade Barrett rushed the ring, but Sheamus was waiting, nearly decapitating the Englishman with a devastating Brogue Kick!

Drew McIntyre hit the ring, wiping out Sheamus with a brutal Claymore kick that nearly took the Intercontinental Champion's head off!

The Rock stepped in, catching the recovering McIntyre with a spine shattering Rock Bottom!

Ryback charged The Rock, leveling the Great One with a massive Meat Hook Clothesline!

Diesel stepped forward, grabbing Ryback by the throat, hoisting the Big Guy high into the air, and driving him directly into the mat with a catastrophic Jackknife Powerbomb!

Kofi Kingston springboarded off the top rope, catching the giant Diesel with a beautiful, twisting Trouble in Paradise that finally brought the seven footer crashing down to the canvas!

"It's a complete breakdown!" Cole screamed at the top of his lungs, his voice entirely giving out as the camera panned wildly to capture the unmitigated chaos. "Finishers are flying everywhere! Every single man has entered the ring! It is an absolute, fourteen man pier six brawl!"

"This is madness!" Lawler yelled, clutching his headset. "It's pure, unfiltered warfare in Charlotte!"

The ring had become a completely localized warzone. Fists were flying, bodies were crashing into the mat, and the referee had completely retreated to the corner, entirely powerless to stop the carnage.

But as the brutal, chaotic brawl raged on, the sheer physical toll began to force the combatants out of the squared circle. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler tumbled over the top rope, trading stiff punches on the ringside floor.

Jericho and Woods fought their way up the steel entrance ramp, utilizing the steel grating as a weapon. Sheamus and McIntyre brawled violently over the barricade, completely disappearing into the sea of screaming fans in the front row.

The Rock and Barrett fought their way toward the timekeeper's area, while Diesel and Ryback threw heavy, concussive blows near the announce desk.

Slowly, methodically, the fourteen man bedlam cleared the ring, spilling the war out into the broader arena.

When the dust inside the squared circle finally settled, only two men remained.

The legal men.

Big E and the Macho Man Randy Savage.

The Charlotte crowd, realizing exactly what was happening, directed all of their deafening, chaotic energy back into the ring. The volume swelled to a pitch that physically vibrated the floorboards.

Big E pushed himself up to his feet, his massive chest heaving, his eyes burning with absolute determination to secure the victory for the Undisputed System. He looked across the ring at Randy Savage, who was using the ropes to pull his battered, exhausted body back to a vertical base.

"It comes down to this!" Cole yelled, gripping the edge of his desk. "The muscle of the Undisputed System against the absolute heart and soul of the Rebellion! Savage and Big E are alone in the ring!"

Big E let out a primal roar, dropping the straps of his singlet, signaling the end. He charged forward with terrifying velocity, looking to take Savage's head off with a massive running clothesline.

But the ring awareness of the Macho Man was legendary. Operating on pure instinct and adrenaline, Savage dropped entirely flat to the canvas. Big E's massive arm swung wildly over Savage's head, hitting nothing but empty air. Big E's forward momentum carried him completely off balance.

As Big E stumbled into the turnbuckles, Savage popped back up to his feet. The Madness had fully taken over.

Savage lunged forward, catching the stunned powerhouse from behind, and executed a desperate, beautiful, high angle back suplex that drove Big E's shoulders hard into the mat!

"Savage with the counter!" Lawler shrieked. "He used Big E's own momentum against him!"

Big E clutched the back of his neck in agony, completely grounded in the center of the ring.

Savage didn't hesitate for a single microsecond. Ignoring the screaming pain in his own back and legs, the Macho Man sprinted to the near corner. He scaled the turnbuckles with the speed and agility of a man half his age.

He stood tall on the top rope. The neon fringe of his jacket hung still for just a fraction of a second. He looked out at the massive sea of eighteen thousand fans, pointing both of his index fingers high into the Charlotte sky.

The arena reached a crescendo of noise that defied human comprehension.

"He's up top!" Cole screamed, completely losing his mind. "This is the moment, King! This is the moment!"

"Do it, Macho Man! Do it!" Lawler begged.

Randy Savage leaped high into the air, his body perfectly horizontal, his elbow tucked tightly against his side. He hung suspended in time, a flawless, breathtaking silhouette of professional wrestling royalty.

He crashed down with devastating, pinpoint precision, driving his elbow directly into the sternum of Big E! "DIVING ELBOW DROP!" Cole screamed. "THE MACHO MAN HITS THE ELBOW! HE HITS THE ELBOW!" Savage immediately hooked the massive, thick leg of Big E, hooking it as deep as he possibly could, burying his face into the canvas as the referee scrambled into position.
