...
Then, slowly, Bobby Lashley turned around. He took two massive steps forward and stood entirely shoulder to shoulder with Sandro. The visual was absolutely terrifying. The billionaire prodigy, holding his three massive championships, standing alongside a completely fresh, utterly dominant powerhouse who had just successfully taken out the most dangerous man in the company with a single move.
Sandro simply smiled. He reached up, entirely unbothered by the chaos unfolding around him, and calmly adjusted the World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder. He had masterminded the entire trap. He had intentionally provoked the Beast, fully knowing that his brand new enforcer was waiting entirely in the shadows to deliver the kill shot.
"Look at the absolute brilliance of Sandro Zhang!" JBL cheered wildly, completely losing his mind at the commentary desk. "He baited Lesnar into the trap! He knew Paul Heyman couldn't control the animal! The Undisputed System isn't dead, King! It has just evolved into something far more dangerous!"
"It's a cowardly setup, John!" Cole argued passionately, absolutely disgusted by the manipulative tactics. "Sandro couldn't fight his own battles, so he hired a mercenary to take out the Beast! This is an absolute disgrace!"
With Brock Lesnar entirely incapacitated on the steel stage, and Paul Heyman still clutching his back in agony near the commentary desk, Sandro Zhang turned his dark, triumphant gaze back toward the squared circle.
Drew McIntyre was still standing in the center of the ring. He had watched the entire trap unfold, but the Scottish Psychopath did not look afraid. He didn't scramble out of the ring to run away. He didn't beg for mercy.
McIntyre simply cracked his knuckles, entirely rolling his broad shoulders, and settled into a heavy, defensive fighting stance. He knew exactly what was coming.
Sandro gestured slightly with his head.
The God King and The Almighty immediately began to walk down the entrance ramp together. The three Queens remained entirely on the stage, watching the execution unfold with toxic, arrogant smiles.
Sandro and Lashley reached the bottom of the ramp. They didn't hesitate. They climbed the steel steps in perfect unison and stepped completely through the ropes, entering the squared circle.
The twenty thousand fans in the Tingley Coliseum began to chant, "DREW! DREW! DREW!" desperately hoping that the Scottish warrior could somehow overcome the impossible odds.
"Drew McIntyre is trapped!" Cole panicked, entirely reading the terrifying geometry of the ring. "It's a two on one assault! The God King and Bobby Lashley have him completely surrounded!"
As Lashley took a massive step forward, Drew McIntyre violently initiated the brawl!
McIntyre didn't wait to be attacked. Operating entirely on pure, unadulterated Scottish aggression, McIntyre launched himself at Bobby Lashley!
The Scottish Psychopath threw a heavy, looping right hand that connected flush with Lashley's jaw!
Lashley stumbled backward, entirely surprised by the sheer ferocity of the strike. McIntyre didn't stop. He immediately pivoted, grabbing Sandro by his pristine suit jacket, entirely hauling the billionaire forward, and delivered a devastating, skull cracking Glasgow Kiss headbutt!
CRACK!
Sandro let out a sharp cry of pain, staggering backward into the turnbuckles, dropping the United States Championship onto the canvas!
"He's fighting back!" Lawler cheered wildly! "McIntyre is taking the fight to both of them! He's an absolute warrior!"
McIntyre grabbed Lashley again, hooking his massive arms around The Almighty's waist, and violently executed a beautiful, high angle overhead belly to belly suplex that sent the returning powerhouse flying across the ring!
The crowd absolutely exploded! For a brief, shining moment, it looked like the mutiny was actually going to be entirely successful. It looked like the Scottish Psychopath was going to clear the ring and stand tall over the broken empire.
But the sheer numbers game, and the terrifying power of Bobby Lashley, were simply too much to overcome.
As McIntyre bounced off the ropes, loading up for his devastating Claymore Kick aimed directly at Sandro Zhang, Bobby Lashley entirely recovered. The Dominator exploded off the mat with terrifying speed, intercepting McIntyre in the dead center of the ring!
Lashley grabbed McIntyre around the waist, lifting the massive 260 pound Scotsman entirely into the air, and violently planted him into the canvas with a catastrophic, spine shattering Spinebuster!
"Oh no!" Cole groaned, entirely heartbroken by the sudden momentum shift. "Lashley just broke McIntyre in half! The sheer power of The Almighty is absolutely overwhelming!"
McIntyre gasped for air, his eyes wide in agony. He frantically tried to push himself up to his hands and knees, refusing to stay down.
But Sandro Zhang had entirely recovered from the headbutt. The God King's eyes were completely black with sociopathic fury. He had promised that he would beat McIntyre until his own psychological trauma forced him to fall back in line, and he was entirely ready to collect his pound of flesh.
Sandro backed into the opposite corner. He waited entirely until McIntyre managed to push himself up to his knees.
Sandro sprinted forward, launching his body into the air, and delivered a sickening, pinpoint accurate Last Note entirely directly into the side of McIntyre's jaw!
SMACK!
The impact was absolutely horrifying. McIntyre's head violently snapped sideways, and the Scottish Psychopath instantly collapsed onto the canvas, completely, utterly unconscious.
The boos from the Albuquerque crowd were absolutely deafening, a massive wave of pure, unfiltered hatred washing over the ring.
"This is disgusting!" Cole shrieked, entirely disgusted by the 2 on 1 beatdown. "They have entirely mugged Drew McIntyre! Sandro Zhang couldn't do it alone, so he brought in a hired gun to do his dirty work!"
"It is absolute, definitive judgement, Michael!" JBL celebrated, standing up at the desk and clapping his hands. "The God King promised that there would be hell to pay, and he delivered on that promise! Brock Lesnar is laid out on the stage! Drew McIntyre is unconscious in the ring! The Undisputed System has been completely reborn, and it is more dangerous than ever!"
Inside the ring, Sandro Zhang stood tall over the broken, unconscious body of his former enforcer. He was breathing heavily, his bruised ribs aching, but his sociopathic smile was entirely restored.
Bobby Lashley stood beside him, completely unbothered, acting as the ultimate, impenetrable shield for the Triple Crown Champion.
Sandro reached down, slowly picking up his United States Championship. He slung it casually over his shoulder, entirely ignoring the deafening boos of the WWE Universe. He had proven his absolute, terrifying point. He didn't need Wade Barrett. He didn't need Dolph Ziggler. He didn't need the numbers.
Lashley, The Dominator, stood like a statue carved from pure, unyielding obsidian. He rolled his massive, heavily muscled shoulders, testing the seams of his highly expensive, custom tailored suit. He looked down at McIntyre with a completely blank, detached expression, displaying absolutely no remorse for the spine shattering Spinebuster he had just delivered.
Lashley slowly turned his gaze. He looked down at the canvas near McIntyre's unconscious boots, where the live WWE microphone had been dropped just moments before the violent brawl initiated.
With incredibly slow, deliberate movements, The Dominator bent down. His massive, thick fingers wrapped entirely around the microphone, scooping it up from the mat.
Lashley didn't immediately bring it to his lips. He was an elite professional, an absolute apex predator, and he understood the hierarchy of the ring he was standing in. Lashley slowly turned his massive frame to look directly at Sandro Zhang.
The Dominator raised the microphone slightly, offering a subtle, silent physical gesture, silently asking the God King for permission to speak in his ring.
Sandro looked at the massive powerhouse. The billionaire prodigy's sociopathic, bruised smile widened. He gave a slow, definitive nod of his head, gesturing gracefully with his free hand, granting his brand new enforcer the floor.
Lashley turned back to face the hard camera, slowly raising the microphone toward his mouth.
But before The Dominator could even utter a single syllable, the Albuquerque crowd violently revolted.
The boos that erupted from the twenty thousand fans were not just loud, they were absolutely deafening, a visceral, physical wall of pure sonic hatred. It was nuclear heat. The fans completely recognized that Bobby Lashley had just single handedly assassinated their two greatest hopes for taking down the Undisputed System in the span of five minutes.
He had Speared Brock Lesnar into a state of absolute unconsciousness on the steel stage, and he had broken Drew McIntyre in half inside the ring.
The booing was so incredibly intense, so profoundly aggressive, that it completely drowned out the stadium's PA system.
Lashley didn't speak. He simply lowered the microphone slightly, a cold, incredibly arrogant smirk spreading across his face. He slowly looked around the massive coliseum, turning his head to take in the furious faces of the fans in the front rows. He didn't look angry. He didn't look flustered. He looked entirely, perfectly at home in the absolute center of their hatred.
He waited. He forced the crowd to exhaust their own vocal cords, establishing a terrifying, alpha dominance over the entire building without saying a word.
Finally, as the boos began to slightly, marginally taper off into a low, angry rumble, Lashley brought the mic back to his lips.
"I have finally returned to the WWE," Lashley stated, his voice incredibly deep, smooth, and laced with absolute, unshakeable confidence.
The boos immediately spiked again, an overwhelming wave of vitriol crashing against the ring!
Lashley entirely ignored them. He completely no sold the crowd's reaction, pacing slowly across the ring, his dark eyes scanning the arena.
"Now, I know exactly what everyone is thinking," Lashley continued, his massive chest expanding as he spoke. "I know the journalists in the back are furiously typing on their keyboards. I know the dirt sheets are going to have an absolute field day with this. Because anybody who knows anything about the combat sports industry... anybody who knows anything about the boardrooms, the independent circuits, and the mixed martial arts world... you all know that Sandro Zhang and Bobby Lashley have a very, very bitter past."
Lashley stopped pacing, looking directly at Sandro. The God King maintained his cold, detached smile, listening intently.
"For the hardcore fans who actually pay attention," Lashley said, addressing the camera, "you know exactly how bad our encounters outside of the WWE truly were. We have crossed paths before. We have engaged in incredibly hostile match and wars. We have absolutely despised one another. There was a time when if Sandro Zhang and I were in the same room, only one of us was walking out under our own power."
The commentary team immediately jumped on the incredibly dense lore being established.
"He's absolutely right, Michael!" Lawler noted, his voice hushed with realization. "The history between Lashley and Sandro outside of this company is incredibly dark and completely hostile! They have actively tried to ruin each other's careers in the past!"
"Which makes this alliance even more terrifying!" Cole replied, shaking his head. "If Sandro Zhang can actively recruit a man who legitimately hated him, what hope does the rest of the roster have?!"
Inside the ring, Lashley let out a dark, booming laugh.
"But you see," Lashley declared, his voice echoing with absolute authority, "all of that bad blood, all of those bitter rivalries... all of it is completely, entirely in the past. It is dead and buried. And do you want to know why?"
Lashley slowly raised his right hand, rubbing his thumb and his index and middle fingers together in the universal, undeniable gesture for cash.
"Because Sandro Zhang came to me like a man," Lashley revealed, the smirk returning to his face. "He sat down at a table with me, he looked me dead in the eye, and he initiated a conversation with a topic that absolutely any man with a functioning brain will agree with. He spoke the universal language. He spoke about money."
The fans booed even louder, completely disgusted by the sheer, unadulterated mercenary nature of the alliance. They hated corporate sellouts, and Lashley was actively, proudly admitting that his loyalty had been entirely bought and paid for.
Lashley just smirked wider as the hatred washed over him. He thrived on it.
"You can boo all you want," Lashley mocked, entirely dismissing the crowd. "But Sandro pays me very, very well. He pays me incredibly high. In fact, Sandro utilized his massive corporate influence and the endless pockets of Nexum Core to negotiate a highly specialized, completely unprecedented contract deal directly with the WWE Board of Directors."
Lashley pointed a massive finger at himself.
"I am not a standard roster member," Lashley clarified, his voice dripping with superiority. "I am an independent contractor. I don't answer to the referees. I don't answer to the backstage producers. I was brought into this company for one incredibly specific, highly lucrative purpose. Sandro Zhang hired me to be his personal, premium, entirely uncompromising 'Anti Lesnar Insurance Policy.'"
On the opposite side of the ring, Sandro actively nodded his head in absolute, complete agreement. The God King actually lifted his hand and began to slowly, arrogantly clap for The Dominator, fully validating the mercenary's statement.
The fans completely lost their minds. The boos reached a deafening, fever pitch. The Albuquerque crowd was entirely furious, loudly chanting "COWARD! COWARD! COWARD!"
directly at the Triple Crown Champion.
They felt that Sandro was entirely acting as a pathetic coward, actively hiding behind a hired wall of muscle because he was legitimately terrified to face the Beast Incarnate in a fair, one on one fight.
Sandro heard the chants. He heard the insults. And he absolutely did not care. He simply smiled wider, adjusting his designer suit, completely unbothered by the opinions of the peasants. He was alive, he was still the champion, and his enemy was currently laid out on the entrance stage. As far as the God King was concerned, his corporate cowardice was simply brilliant tactical genius.
But Bobby Lashley was not finished.
The Dominator's smile slowly faded, entirely replaced by a look of sheer, terrifying intensity. He gripped the microphone so tightly his knuckles turned white.
"But let me get one thing absolutely straight with everyone in the back, and everyone sitting in this arena," Lashley commanded, his voice dropping into a dark, aggressive growl that commanded total silence. "Sandro's money is phenomenal. It is life changing. But I did not return to the WWE to be a glorified bag boy. I did not return to hold Sandro's titles while he walks down the ramp. I am not the new Drew McIntyre."
Lashley pointed a heavy finger at the unconscious Scotsman lying at his feet.
"I returned to this company for two specific, entirely selfish reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with Sandro Zhang's bank account," Lashley declared.
"Number one," Lashley said, holding up a single, massive finger. "I am entirely sick and tired of watching the professional wrestling industry, the combat sports media, and you pathetic fans treat Brock Lesnar like he is the only legitimate, crossover biological beast on the face of the planet."
The sheer intensity of Lashley's words sent a shockwave through the commentary desk.
"Listen to the passion in his voice!" JBL yelled, entirely captivated by the promo. "Lashley isn't just here for a paycheck! He has a massive, undeniable chip on his shoulder!"
"Brock Lesnar and I share almost completely identical physical and career profiles," Lashley explained, his voice echoing with raw, unadulterated pride. "We are both elite, Division 1 NCAA amateur wrestling standouts. We are both incredibly massive, unparalleled powerhouses. We are both legitimate heavyweights who successfully crossed over into the brutal world of mixed martial arts and dominated the octagon! We are the exact same breed of monster!"
Lashley turned his gaze entirely up the ramp, looking at the broken, groggy body of Brock Lesnar, who was just barely beginning to stir under the frantic supervision of WWE medical personnel.
"But for the last decade," Lashley growled, his eyes narrowed with pure hatred, "all I ever hear is the myth of the Beast. All I ever hear is how Brock Lesnar is an unstoppable conqueror. Well, tonight, I entirely shattered that myth! Me sprinting out of the back and Spearing Brock Lesnar into the steel wasn't just a job. It wasn't just me fulfilling a contractual obligation for Sandro. That was me, Bobby Lashley, permanently planting my flag on Monday Night RAW! That was me publicly proving, once and for all, that I am the superior combat athlete!"
The crowd let out a mixed, chaotic reaction. They hated Lashley for joining the Undisputed System, but the sheer, undeniable reality of a legitimate, heavyweight dream match between The Dominator and the Beast Incarnate was incredibly intoxicating.
"And the second reason," Lashley continued, holding up two fingers, his voice suddenly shifting back to a cold, calculated business tone. "The second reason I agreed to come back to this circus is because I negotiated a very specific, golden clause into my contract."
Lashley slowly turned his massive body, looking directly at Sandro Zhang. The God King's smile did not falter, entirely aware of what his enforcer was about to say.
"You see, my contract with Nexum Core comes with an absolute, legally binding guarantee," Lashley revealed, dropping an absolute bombshell on the entire WWE Universe. "Once my job is complete... once Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre are permanently, violently exterminated from the WWE title picture... I get the ultimate payoff. My contract guarantees that I get the very first, mandatory shot at Sandro Zhang's World Heavyweight Championship."
