...

"Bobby Lashley may have won the battle this past Saturday at Over The Limit... but Brock Lesnar is making it very clear that he intends to win the war. Will these two monsters ever be contained? We will find out as Monday Night RAW continues!" The screen gracefully faded to black, leaving the Seattle fans and the millions watching at home completely breathless.

After commercial, the show returned and what welcomed the fans are the chaotic images of the loading dock slowly melted away from the broadcast screens inside the KeyArena, before being replaced by a wide, sweeping shot of the roaring Seattle audience.

The fans were still buzzing, caught somewhere between shock and pure adrenaline after witnessing Bobby Lashley hijack a vehicle to escape the wrath of Brock Lesnar.

At the commentary table, Cole took a deep, shaky breath, straightening his tie and adjusting his headset. "I... I honestly don't even know how to transition back to the ring after what we just saw, guys. This broadcast is barely an hour old, and we've already had a parking lot brawl that resembled a Hollywood action movie."

Lawler shook his head, a nervous smile playing on his lips. "You just have to strap in and hold on, Michael. When the Beast Incarnate is in the building, the rulebook gets thrown right out the window. Lashley got away tonight, but he's going to have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his life."

"He deserves to live in fear!" JBL barked, his face flushed red with lingering anger. "The man is a menace. He ran away like a coward because he knows he can't beat Brock Lesnar in a fair fight, just like he couldn't beat him without resorting to low blows on Saturday. Good riddance."

Despite the chaos hovering backstage, Monday Night RAW had a schedule to keep. For the next hour, the broadcast settled back into a sense of normalcy, delivering a string of high quality singles and tag team matches that kept the live crowd heavily invested.

A fast paced cruiserweight bout brought the fans back to their feet, and a hard hitting women's division match showcased the rising talent on the roster. It gave everyone a chance to breathe and recalibrate.

But as the third hour of the broadcast approached, the atmosphere in the arena shifted once again. The lights dimmed, and a heavy, rhythmic tribal drumbeat began to pulse through the stadium speakers.

The Seattle crowd instantly let out a massive, sustained cheer as the vibrant lights flared.

Stepping out onto the stage, radiating an undeniable, infectious energy, were the brand new World Tag Team Champions, Jimmy and Jey Uso. But they weren't alone. Walking proudly just a few steps behind the twin brothers was the imposing, fierce figure of Tamina.

She had been sidelined for months nursing an injury, and the fans gave her a warm, loud ovation for her long awaited return. Dressed in her signature black leather gear, she looked tougher than ever, providing a dangerous insurance policy for her family members.

Jimmy and Jey didn't walk down the ramp immediately. They stopped at the top of the stage, flanked by Tamina, and performed their traditional, high energy Samoan war dance. They slapped their chests, hyped themselves up, and screamed their signature battle cry before throwing their arms in the air.

"U-SO!" the brothers yelled in unison.

"O-OH!" the Seattle crowd screamed back, playing right into the palm of their hands.

"Look at the gold around their waists!" Cole cheered as the trio marched down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans in the front row. "For the very first time since they debuted on the main roster, Jimmy and Jey Uso are at the top of the mountain. And having Tamina back in their corner makes them a much more formidable unit."

"They earned every single ounce of that gold, Michael," Lawler agreed. "They survived The New Day in an absolute classic at Over The Limit. These boys have the lineage, they have the talent, and now they have the hardware to prove it."

JBL scoffed loudly, adjusting his microphone. "They beat three clowns who were wearing plastic horns on their heads. Forgive me if I don't throw them a parade. Let's see how long they can actually hold onto those titles when real competition steps up."

Jimmy and Jey slid gracefully under the bottom rope, standing tall in the center of the ring. Tamina stepped over the ropes and stood behind them, crossing her arms with a stern, unsmiling glare that dared anyone in the locker room to come out and ruin the moment. A ringside crew member quickly scurried over and handed a microphone to Jey.

The crowd's cheers swelled, chanting "You deserve it!" as the twins looked around the packed arena, genuine emotion visible in their eyes.

"Man... it feels so good to finally say this," Jey began, a wide grin spreading across his face. He held the microphone close, letting the cheers wash over him. "Seattle, Washington... you are looking at your NEW World Tag Team Champions!"

The crowd popped loudly, throwing their hands in the air.

Jimmy took the microphone from his brother, resting a hand on the shiny center plate of his championship. "It has been a long, hard road to get to this ring right here. A lot of miles, a lot of bruises, and a lot of people telling us that we were just going to be another tag team lost in the shuffle. But we grinded. We put in the work every single day. And Saturday night, we proved that the Uso bloodline is the strongest force in this business."

He paced a few steps, locking eyes with the hard camera. "And let's get one thing straight. This might be our first reign here in the WWE... but it sure as hell isn't going to be our last. We didn't fight this hard just to hold these titles for a month and fade back into the background. Nobody in the RAW tag team division is going to topple us from this spot. We are setting up shop, and we plan on reigning for a long, long time."

Jey grabbed the microphone back, nodding emphatically. "That's right, Uce. But we also know that a championship reign can get boring if you just sit in the back and hide from the competition. We aren't built like that. The Usos are fighting champions."

Jey paused for dramatic effect, looking over at Tamina, who gave a firm, approving nod.

"So earlier today, we took a little trip down to the administrative offices," Jey continued, a sly smile crossing his face. "We knocked on Paul Heyman's door. Since the God King is currently busy hiding under his bed somewhere in Florida, Heyman is still handling some of the paperwork around here. We told him that we want to put these titles on the line against anybody in the locker room who thinks they have what it takes. So starting next week on RAW... The Usos are officially issuing a World Tag Team Championship Open Challenge!"

The fans cheered loudly at the announcement, though a slight ripple of disappointment murmured through the building. The Seattle crowd had been hoping to see a spontaneous title defense right then and there. But the prospect of a weekly open challenge was refreshing, injecting much-needed unpredictability into a tag team division that had felt stagnant for months.

"An open challenge starting next week!" Cole praised. "You have to respect the confidence of these young men. They have everything to lose, and yet they are daring the locker room to step up."

"It's a bold strategy, Cole, I'll give them that," Lawler added. "It keeps you sharp, but it also paints a massive target on your back."

Jimmy and Jey raised their titles high into the air, soaking in the adulation. They handed the microphone back to the ringside crew and prepared to exit the ring alongside Tamina.

But their celebration was suddenly interrupted.

"AWESOME!"

The arrogant, grating intro of The Miz's theme song blasted through the speakers, instantly transforming the crowd's cheers into a deafening chorus of angry, guttural boos.

Stepping out onto the stage, dressed in incredibly expensive, tailor made suits and hiding behind dark sunglasses, were The Miz and R-Truth, The Awesome Truth. The two arrogant heels strutted down the entrance ramp as if they owned the building. Miz held a microphone, shaking his head in mock pity as he looked down at the ring.

"Now that is what I call a true main event team!" JBL cheered, his mood instantly improving. "The Awesome Truth is here to inject some actual star power into this segment!"

"Give me a break, John," Cole sighed. "These two have been nothing but a thorn in everyone's side for months."

Miz slowly lowered his sunglasses, peering over the rims at the champions in the ring. The boos from the Seattle crowd were so loud that he had to wait a full twenty seconds before even attempting to speak.

"Congratulations, boys," Miz said, his voice dripping with condescending sarcasm. "You finally won the big one. It only took you years of being completely irrelevant to finally grab a brass ring that nobody else wanted to hold. Enjoy your fifteen minutes of fame, because the reality check is standing right in front of you."

R-Truth chimed in, looking genuinely confused as he adjusted his blazer. "Hey Miz, did they say next week? Why are they waiting for next week? We are right here, right now, in... whatever city this is. We accept the challenge! We'll take those shiny belts right now, dog!"

Miz held up a hand to calm his partner. "Truth, Truth... relax. They need a week to prepare. They need a week to call their family members and say goodbye to the championships. So, Jimmy, Jey... consider your little open challenge graciously accepted. Next week, The Awesome Truth will step into that ring, we will embarrass you on national television, and we will take those World Tag Team titles to a level of prestige that you couldn't even dream of."

In the ring, the Usos simply stared at the two men on the ramp. Jimmy reached out, signaling for the crew to hand him back the microphone. He brought it to his lips, a look of sheer amusement dancing in his eyes.

Jimmy let out a loud, mocking laugh that echoed through the arena.

"Let me get this straight," Jimmy chuckled, looking at his brother. "You two actually think that when we issue an open challenge, we would voluntarily choose to face you?"

The fans let out a loud "Ooooh!" of approval, sensing the incoming insult.

Jey grabbed the mic, leaning over the top rope. "Miz, Truth... you two are delusional. You are completely undeserving of a championship opportunity. You haven't won a meaningful match in months. You just walk out here in your cheap suits and expect things to be handed to you. Honestly? We would rather face a couple of local, unsigned talents from the Seattle independent scene than waste our time stepping into the ring with a pair of Hollywood wannabes."

The crowd burst into a massive wave of laughter and cheers. The insult hit its mark perfectly.

On the ramp, The Miz's smug smile instantly vanished. His face turned bright red, the veins bulging in his neck. R-Truth stopped looking confused and suddenly looked deeply offended, aggressively pulling his blazer off and throwing it onto the steel ramp.

"You think this is a joke?!" Miz screamed, his voice cracking with rage. "You think you can disrespect us like that? We are A-listers! We are main eventers!"

Miz dropped the microphone. Without another word, he and R-Truth charged down the rest of the ramp, their fists clenched, fully intending to rush the ring and beat respect into the new champions.

Inside the ring, the Usos didn't back down an inch. Jimmy and Jey quickly unhooked their championship belts, handing them carefully to Tamina for safekeeping. They stepped forward, bouncing on their toes, raising their fists as they prepared for a fight. Tamina stood her ground holding the gold, her glare locked onto the incoming challengers, looking perfectly willing to throw a superkick of her own if they crossed the ropes.

The crowd was on their feet, screaming for a brawl.

Miz and Truth reached the bottom of the ramp. They marched right up to the ring apron. Miz grabbed the top rope, putting one foot on the apron, ready to slide under.

But as he locked eyes with the fiery, ready for war expressions of the twin brothers, Miz suddenly stopped.

He looked at Jey. He looked at Jimmy. He looked at the intimidating presence of Tamina standing in the background. The sudden realization that rushing into a three on two fight against highly trained Samoan athletes was a terrible business decision washed over him.

Miz slowly lowered his foot back to the floor. He tapped R-Truth on the chest, shaking his head.

"Not tonight, Truth," Miz yelled over the noise of the crowd, pointing a warning finger at the Usos. "You aren't worth getting my suit dirty. You have one week to enjoy those belts. One week!"

To a deafening chorus of disappointed boos, Miz and Truth slowly backed away from the ring apron. They kept their eyes on the champions, retreating backward up the entrance ramp, opting for the classic, cowardly retreat rather than facing the music.

"Typical!" Lawler laughed, highly amused by the backpedal. "The Awesome Truth talks a massive game, but the second the Usos take off the gold and raise their fists, Miz suddenly remembers he left the oven on at home!"

"It's called being smart, King," JBL defended, adjusting his tie. "Why fight for free on a Monday night when you can force management to sign a lucrative contract for a title match next week? Miz is a businessman. He knows exactly what he's doing."

Jimmy and Jey leaned over the top ropes, laughing and taunting the retreating heels. Tamina handed them their titles back, and the trio posed for the fans one last time as their music played them out. The tag team division felt alive again, and the promised clash for the following week gave the fans exactly the kind of stakes they had been asking for.

As the Usos eventually made their way to the back, the broadcast seamlessly shifted gears. Video packages played, summarizing the grueling war that took place on Saturday night, leading the audience directly toward the final segment of the evening.

It was time for the main event showcase.

The lights in the KeyArena went dark. A heavy, expectant hush fell over the thousands in attendance.

Suddenly, the haunting, powerful wail of the Scottish war pipes sliced through the silence.

The crowd erupted into a massive, thunderous roar that shook the very foundations of the building. The fans leaped to their feet, aggressively cheering as the heavy guitar riffs kicked in.

Stepping out onto the stage, radiating an aura of pure, undeniable confidence, was Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath wore a tailored leather duster over his tartan trunks, but nobody was looking at his jacket. All eyes were glued to his waist.

Secured tightly around his midsection, gleaming brilliantly under the bright arena spotlights, was the WWE United States Championship.

Drew didn't march to the ring with his usual aggressive scowl. Tonight, a proud, satisfied smile rested on his face. He walked down the ramp with the swagger of a man who had finally proven his worth to the world. He high-fived several fans in the front row, embracing the massive positive reaction he was receiving.

"Look at the new champion!" Cole shouted, his voice filled with genuine admiration. "Drew McIntyre went to war with a four hundred pound giant at Over The Limit, and he walked out of Seattle as the United States Champion!"

"He looks like a million bucks, Michael," Lawler agreed. "The man fulfilled his destiny. He broke away from Sandro Zhang, he bet on himself, and it paid off in gold."

JBL sat rigidly in his chair, looking at the monitor as if it were coated in poison. "It's a tragedy. A complete tragedy. That championship used to represent excellence. It represented the dominance of the God King. Now, it's just a prop strapped to the waist of a traitor. Drew McIntyre stabbed his employer in the back, and you two are treating him like a hero. He's a usurper."

Drew climbed the steel steps, stepping over the top rope with ease. He walked directly to the center of the ring, unhooking the United States Championship from his waist. He raised it high above his head with one hand, letting the Seattle crowd get a long, clear look at the prize he had shed blood to obtain.
