Steel met steel as Bai Shen and Mad Saber traded blows, their weapons clashing in a flurry of sparks under the midday sun.
"You're stronger than I expected, brat!" Mad Saber growled, swinging his giant saber in a wide arc, trying to use the weapon's sheer weight to overpower the younger man.
Bai Shen merely sidestepped, his Agility allowing him to dodge with ease. "And you're slower than I expected, old man."
Gritting his teeth at the mockery, Mad Saber tried to press forward with a series of heavy strikes, but each one was either parried or dodged effortlessly.
Behind them, Lin Ruoxi and the twins were handling the remaining guards, their combined efforts making quick work of the few who dared to interfere.
"Stay out of this!" One of Mad Saber's subordinates shouted, charging at Ruoxi with a spear.
