Chapter 30 - Chapter 030: The House-Demolishing Babies

The manor was already a bit stifling in early summer, but for Shawn and Mira, this temperature was just right.

"Hmm..."

They were sunbathing in the yard under the bright sun, snatching a moment of leisure to embrace and kiss.

As the passion grew, Mira's full, graceful body hung entirely on Shawn, her breath hot as she whispered: "Darling, while the babies are asleep, should we..."

Shawn was also getting carried away, just about to do something more, when he suddenly paused, a wry smile on his face.

"What's wrong?" Mira asked, puzzled.

'Bang~~!'

A sound of a small explosion came from the direction of the indoor room.

"This again..."

Mira immediately lost all interest, her whole demeanor wilting. She left a kiss on Shawn's face and quickly stood up to walk inside.

Muttering: "Twenty minutes? Can't you guys just sleep properly?!"

Walking quickly into the room, what came into view was the spacious crib used for both resting and playing. The armrest had been broken into two, with one section hanging from the chandelier on the living room ceiling.

"Alexander!!"

Mira looked at her eldest son, who was sitting there eating his hand, while he waved the other half of the armrest around, causing her a headache.

The younger son, Christopher, was sitting pressed against the inner wall of the crib, clutching a pillow, and watching his brother with vigilance.

Seeing his mother finally appear, Christopher pointed at his brother with his finger, complaining: "Iya, iya~~!!"

"Pfft, pfft pfft..."

Alexander was still giggling, puffing out his cheeks to blow air at his brother, spraying saliva everywhere.

"Sigh, can you not be so naughty?"

Mira walked over, clutching her forehead, unable to resist giving Alexander a light tap on the head.

She took the broken armrest from her eldest son's hand, picked him up, and turned to wave at Christopher: "Little Christopher, your brother knows he was wrong. Come, Mommy will hold you..."

Christopher didn't come over, but he put down the pillow, found a comfortable position for himself, and lay down. He pointed his little finger towards the door: "Iya, iya~!"

Mira asked: "Do you want to find Benjamin?"

"Iya~!"

Mira smiled: "Alright, alright, Mommy will go find Benjamin now."

She touched Christopher's little cheek, patted Alexander's back, and put him back down.

Why did her eldest son suddenly make such a big commotion?

Of course, it was because their brother Benjamin had snuck out of the room again.

While everyone else could only sit and play, Benjamin was the first among them to learn to crawl, and he mastered it quickly. Now, he was no longer content being trapped in the crib and was always sneaking out.

Mira activated her 'Super Senses'; the movements in the house could not escape her perception. She then scanned with her X-ray vision.

In the laundry room, a scrawny little boy was curled up, sneaking clothes out, his little face full of the joy of exploration.

"Sigh, neither one of them is easy to look after."

The second son, who had been well-behaved just over three months ago, had now become the naughtiest one.

Mira dashed towards the laundry room, raising her voice: "Benjamin, where are you? Are you not sleeping properly again?!"

"Iya hahaha~~!"

Hearing the commotion, the little guy Benjamin giggled.

Seeing his mother coming, he quickly dropped the dirty clothes in his hand, and using both hands and feet, as agile as a big rat, he slipped out of the room first.

Benjamin's crawling speed was outrageously fast, but how could he be a match for his mother?

However, Mira didn't catch him immediately. Instead, she played along, chasing him several laps in the spacious living room before scooping up her excited second son.

"Gotcha~!"

Mira grabbed Benjamin by the back of his collar, lifted him up, pinched his cheek, and said with a smile: "Game over, little Ben, it's time for you to rest."

"Iya~"

Benjamin buried himself in his mother's arms, twisting his butt, not knowing if he understood or not.

Returning to the bedroom, Shawn was already holding Alexander and Christopher, rocking them from side to side.

The two little guys were extremely energetic, laughing excitedly.

Mira: "Why did you pick them up? They haven't slept enough today."

"I don't think they can sleep either."

Seeing Mira come back holding the little rascal, Shawn smiled and said: "The weather is nice today, how about we take them out for a ride?"

Mira was tempted upon hearing this.

Since getting pregnant, she had gone out less and less, and the few months since giving birth had been spent entirely at home accompanying them.

Now that the children were getting naughtier, going out for a change of scenery and letting them see more of the outside world would be very beneficial.

Thinking this, Mira shoved the second son into Shawn's arms and turned to leave: "I'll go change my clothes first."

Shawn held the three babies, looking left and right; even with his broad chest, it felt a bit crowded.

Fortunately, the three brothers didn't think so at all; they huddled together, happy as could be.

"Mua~!"

He planted a kiss on each of them, leaving saliva on their faces, and said to his sons: "It's time to start a new adventure, Daddy is taking you guys to expand the map!"

Shortly after.

Mira had changed into jeans and a short-sleeved casual shirt, shouting from outside the door: "Let's go, darling."

They grabbed the baby carrier and the stroller, and drove off in the pickup truck.

Actually, if they wanted to save trouble, they could completely just hold the children and fly into the sky, letting them experience the feeling of soaring through the heavens.

But considering the children were only over three months old and still too small and fragile, and flying into the sky might easily lead to being accidentally observed by others, which would ruin the mood of the ride.

This idea was naturally postponed.

Since the children were born, the people they had come into contact with the most were the families of Jonathan and Connelly, plus Dr. Wendy at most.

It was time to let them see more people and things.

Cruising at eighty miles per hour, the mood was free and easy.

The three little guys were riding in a car for the first time, and they each behaved differently.

Alexander was interested in the decorations in the car and couldn't help but pick at them with his hands; occasionally, when a car came from the opposite direction, he would squeal.

Benjamin giggled as he watched the scenery receding outside the window, his little legs kicking excitedly, seemingly enjoying the sense of speed.

Christopher was much quieter, looking inside the car for a while, then outside, his eyes darting around as if he was memorizing the route his father was driving.

About forty minutes later.

The pickup truck drove through the country roads and soon entered Rendell Town, arriving at the outskirts of the lively 'House of Superman'.

With development, Dalton and Brad had also acquired the adjacent shops and built a plaza on the open space, making the 'House of Superman' even larger.

Shawn parked the car and, together with Mira, placed the children in the stroller.

They strolled along and saw the huge statue of 'Superman with his hands on his hips, looking forward' in the plaza from afar.

In the bustling crowd, many people were checking in and taking pictures nearby.

"Look, darling."

Shawn smiled proudly at his wife: "This is reputation."

Because Superman had been here more than once, and had even accepted his first interview of his life here.

At this moment, the 'House of Superman' had gained great fame and had become a pilgrimage site that many fans longed for.

Mira looked on with envy: "What do you think about putting a Supergirl next to Superman? When the kids get a little older, I can be a superhero who helps the weak, just like you."

Shawn had no objections to this; he said: "Before that, your strength needs to be improved a bit more."

"Iya, iya~~!!"

"Iya, iya~~!!"

The children sitting in the stroller were coming to a crowded place for the first time.

They were extremely excited, holding up their little hands and reaching forward, as if they wanted to pull all the fresh things into their arms.

"Isn't it beautiful?"

Shawn smiled gently, pushing them forward, saying: "Let's go in and take a look~~!"
