Adam didn't hear the conversation between the Silver Weaver and Silvana, but it would become an important part of his journey after he left the Gray Sea.
If what the Silver Weaver had said was true, then he would have to return to the Hollow Lands very soon, or, more precisely... to a place beyond its borders.
But before that, he had to finish his business in the Gray Sea, he had to find and kill Breydar.
Adam no longer saw this as an opportunity to grow stronger or test his strength, since Breydar was merely a Baron, which was in no way comparable to Midgar. But Adam had promised Farla he would do it, so he couldn't return to the Citadel empty-handed.
