Chapter One
Kevin Gregory intentionally described vividly, "The fruit inside the layer cake is fresh too, like strawberries, mangoes..."
Just listening to his description made Aurelia Wood's stomach grumble with hunger.
She had stayed up all night without rest and hadn't even had a sip of water since yesterday; how could she withstand his deliberate temptation?
Aurelia glared at him, "If you want to eat, eat. Stop babbling, when did you become a food commentator?"
Her impatience amused Kevin.
Kevin curled his lips, "Mainly, I'm not that hungry. How about you help me eat it?"
"I wouldn't eat it."
She turned her face away in a huff, but he placed the cake in front of her, "Just do me a favor and eat it?"
"If you don't eat it, watching it will make me feel bad. You know, I don't like wasting food."
"..." Aurelia was amused, her eyes filled with a hint of laughter, "How come I didn't know Young Master Gregory is so thrifty?"
