Chapter Three
"Honey..."
"Arthur?"
She called out a few times, but no one responded.
Aurelia felt strange, what was he doing?
She had no choice but to take the hairdryer and walk in together.
Once in the bedroom, she saw him standing on the balcony outside, making a phone call.
Aurelia walked up, ready to call him.
But she heard him say, "I assure you, she won't have any entanglement with your son, so you don't need to deliberately call to remind me."
Arthur frowned, completely unaware of Aurelia's approach.
"If there's nothing else, I'll hang up. I think it's best if we communicate less. You probably don't want more people to know about our deal, right?"
After saying that, he hung up the phone.
He turned around and discovered she was standing behind him.
In that instant, Arthur's heart tightened as he carefully observed the expression on Aurelia Wood's face.
Aurelia stepped forward and asked suspiciously, "Who were you talking to?"
