Soon, it was lunchtime, and Owen Lewis had not appeared at MC Group all morning.
Nia Mitchell had already sent a text to the CEO, telling him she would go to the Underground Garage first to wait for him.
So, she packed her things, left the Office Room, and headed to the Underground Garage.
To her surprise, when she arrived, she found Maxwell Peary already sitting in the car.
"Did you leave work early today?"
Nia Mitchell looked at him oddly; this was rather unlike the CEO's usual style.
"Well? Mrs. Peary, do you feel exceptionally flattered?"
Seeing his rare good mood, Nia Mitchell played along.
"I do indeed feel exceptionally flattered. Mr. Peary deserves a handsome reward."
She beamed, her radiant smile making Maxwell Peary, in the driver's seat, feel a bit captivated.
So, he leaned over and whispered close to her ear.
"Reward me tonight."
