While walking, she entered Nathan Leafcastle's number and was about to call when a text message came in—from Nathan Leafcastle.
She quickly opened the message. It was extremely concise.
"Those shares are crucial to Barker's situation. In my hands, they'll just be taken by someone else. You must accept them. I've hurt Barker; this is the only thing I can do. I hope you understand. Wishing you happiness!"

The elevator doors opened, and the assistant gently called her name, bringing Sally back to her senses. She hugged the documents in her arms and walked out of the elevator.
She walked out of the Barker Building, and Bernardy Dalton immediately came over when he saw her standing by the car door.
"Why are you so slow, girl!"
Sally couldn't speak; she just clutched her phone and sat in the back seat.
Bernardy got into the car, noticing she was in a bad mood, and asked with concern.
"What's wrong?"
