The two got off the car together. Olivia Parker walked up the steps, and Kasper Edith followed her inside, walking with her to the food counter.
Olivia ordered a takeout for Osbert Montgomery.
"These are too unhealthy," Kasper reminded her at her side, "Kids shouldn't eat this kind of stuff, you're spoiling him too much."
Olivia ignored him, "Add a bowl of porridge too."
Kasper reached for his wallet to pay, only to realize he hadn't brought it.
Olivia finished paying, and carrying the paper bag and the bowl of porridge, she found a seat for two and sat down. He immediately followed.
Holding the bowl, she took a spoonful of porridge, glanced at him across the table, "Is there something else, Mr. Edith?"
The matters regarding Osbert had already been discussed, she had nothing more to say to him.
"I think..." Kasper's dark eyes locked onto hers, "We really need to talk."
"Do we really need to?" Olivia countered.
His tone was deep, "It's very necessary."
