Olivia Parker smiled, then connected the call.
"Hello?"
"Olivia darling, did you miss me?"
On the other end of the line was Kasper Edith's voice, filled with laughter and undisguised joy.
Olivia felt a tightening in her heart.
This "Olivia darling" was enough to prove that it was Kasper Edith's second personality speaking.
Was it a side effect of the treatment, or had he appeared again?
"Where are you?"
"In such a hurry to see me?"
"Don't play coy."
"Alright." Kasper Edith chuckled softly, "Come out right now, I'm waiting for you outside the Inpatient Building."
"See you soon."
Olivia hung up the phone, grabbed her cell phone, and headed out, just as she pulled the door open.
A shadow flashed before her eyes, and suddenly she was wrapped in a pair of arms, her feet leaving the ground.
When her feet touched the ground again, her back was pressed against the door panel, and the light before her dimmed as a pair of lips came down.
