Kasper couldn't sit still there any longer. As soon as he saw her put down her chopsticks, he spoke up immediately.
"Why is it taking so long? Is there some problem?"
"The patient's condition is quite complicated. Maybe they're discussing it with the doctor," Memoria explained, feeling a bit worried too. "Why don't you wait a moment, and I'll go check?"
Kasper immediately stood up, "I'll go with you, is that alright?"
Memoria smiled, "Of course."
The other person was Olivia's husband, not an outsider, so it wasn't a big deal to take him along.
So, the two of them got up and walked out of the ward together.
Memoria led Kasper toward the Intensive Care Ward.
The Intensive Care Ward was around the hallway corner, where two staff members were standing. They nodded politely when they saw Memoria.
The two of them arrived at the window of the Intensive Care Ward, and Memoria looked sideways into the room.
