After a moment, the elevator door opened. Seeing that there was no one inside, she stepped in, ready to press the floor button, when she heard someone outside urgently call out.
"Wait!"
Memoria Campbell moved her finger and pressed the door open button.
Footsteps sounded softly as a tall man in a suit stepped into the elevator. Seeing her, he politely expressed his thanks.
"You're welcome," Memoria replied with a smile, reaching out to press the button for the sixth floor. "Which floor are you going to?"
This man was none other than Kasper Edith, who had rushed over from another section of the hospital. When he saw Memoria asking, he courteously responded.
"I'm also going to the sixth floor, thank you!"
Memoria smiled and withdrew her finger.
The elevator ascended quickly to the sixth floor, and the elevator doors opened. Memoria pressed the door open button, politely inviting Kasper to go first.
