Helen Melendy instinctively wanted to refuse, but Harry Hall seemed to guess her thoughts and preempted her, saying:
"You don't need to answer me now. Even if we don't get married or date now, I'm still your senior, and we're still friends, right?"
Seeing that he wasn't pressuring her, Helen thought about how they were already talking about marriage but she turned him down because she lost her memory, which made her feel a bit guilty. Now that he wasn't forcing her, she had no reason to deny Harry's compromise, and she nodded.
"I've witnessed your dark past, can we say we now have a revolutionary friendship, right?"
Harry added with a smile in his eyes.
"If you don't mention the dark past, we're still friends."
Helen said sternly, looking at him.
After this exchange, the atmosphere seemed much lighter.
Harry removed his hands from the arms of her wheelchair, releasing his hold on her, and said, "The discharge procedures are done, I'll send you back first."
