William Campbell looked a bit hesitant.
Daddy and Mommy said I shouldn't just leave with anyone.
Grandpa Thompson saw William didn't immediately agree, thinking this little brat was still quite wary, so he continued to scare him:
"Anyway, your family already has a little brother. It's the same whether Daddy and Mommy have you or not. Do you really not want to play this little game with Grandpa Thompson?"
Upon hearing "it's the same whether Daddy and Mommy have you or not," William's face showed obvious panic.
Looking again at how pretty Grandpa Thompson was, and how nice she was to him usually, she definitely wasn't a bad person.
After all, he was just a five-year-old child. After some simple analysis and judgment, and eager to know if Daddy and Mommy really didn't love him anymore, he nodded and agreed.
"Okay."
"Then follow Grandpa Thompson now, and don't tell anyone. If others find out and tell Daddy and Mommy, it won't be fun."
"Mm-hmm."
