Adam Jones instinctively wanted to stop her, but when he saw her swallow the solution, his heart was filled with both fear and a bit of anticipation.
Elly Campbell gave him a relaxed smile and said,
"Don't worry."
She held Adam Jones's hand and said,
"You said he lacks nothing, and has no grievances with us. Why would he want to harm me then, right?"
If Leo Hall is as she suspects, merely seeking recognition from his brother and parents, he wouldn't choose to harm her at this time.
Adam Jones let out a cold snort, not responding to Elly's words, though he was slightly convinced by what she said.
"Actually, the person who drugged me wasn't him. If he hadn't come to me about it, I might never have known what happened to me, even in death, I'd have died without understanding."
"Since he doesn't want anything, he must truly want to detoxify me by telling me all this."
Listening to her words, Adam Jones let out a cold snort and said,
