We have to stick together! Luna you're the youngest and will have access to a pokemon last. But you will have seen enough battles by that point, that you will have an experts eye. That being said, I know enough to know, that we are about to deal with one of the strongest people in the world. Samuel Oak was a former Pokemon League Champion. He is a major part of the reason the Pokedex exists to begin with.
This man is an actual living legend, please respect his home, property, and pokemon as such. King Level Trainer *shudder* we will all learn EVERYTHING we can from this man before we actually set off into this world. This is our school and training for this world. It's the only way! I refuse to take any of you out there blindly. Every one chorused YEAH! Ok, ok, let's go then. As I was putting the van into gear (DJ) umm uncle? There's an Officer Jenny behind us! I giggled, the fanboy in me just found the humor in this.
She walked up to my side (Officer Jenny) How are you folks doing today? (Abe) Oh, hello Officer! We are the Uman family and this is our first time in Pallet. (OfJ) Oh, I see! Her demeanor instantly changed. We were told to find a professor Samuel Oak for our requirements. Would you happen to know where we could find him? A bright flash *Ki-i-i-iiddle* (OfJ) OH MY GOODNESS HOW CUUUUTE! what is that pokemon!? I've never seen it before. May I scan it? (Abe) Him, he's a male, and you're welcome to scan him but you'll see.
Officer Jenny pulled out a Pokedex, and scanned Kiddle. *No data is available* while she was doing that I noticed this woman was simply beautiful. WHAT!? She scanned him again, *No data is available* before she could ask anything. (Abe) Now you understand why we need to get to Samuel Oak. (OfJ) OK! OK! I'll take you there, follow me. I took off after her and she led us to a gorgeous ranch on the other side of Pallet Town. We drove up to the sign reading Oak Labs: Pokemon Reserve and Research.
(OfJ) I called the Professor while we were in route. He's very interested in meeting your Kiddle. Just after she said that, the gate to the ranch opened up for us. We drove up to the doors and parked in the designated spot. Out came a young lady about Estrella's age. Followed by thee Samuel Oak, again I found myself giggling. We off-loaded the van and Pichu woke up in Estrella's sling. Raltz teleported out, taking in the view of Oak Labs. I pulled the bag with the three eggs in it. (Abe) Hello I am Abe and we are the Uman family. This is my nephew DJ, and his son Joey.
This is Estrella my oldest daughter, and her Pichu. PICHU! *Hey, I'm here too* yes little lady, I remembered you. I chuckled at her antics, this is Quentin and Luna my youngest in order. Each of them raised their hands to him as I called their names. Kiddle walked up to Professor Oak *Hello* with his head tilted inquisitively. Oak said; Well hello there little one! He got down to his level, How are you? *Fine thank you, oooh Daddy I like his Aura* That's what we're here about Professor Oak, I said to him. I take it you can enlighten me? He responded.
*Clears throat* (Abe) Kiddle the mountain flame pokemon. Kiddle is a Fire, Rock, and Normal Type. He will eventually evolve once into Flammabilly; The guardian of the Mountains. He can easily survive in a snowy climates as long as he collects enough wood during the year to keep his internal fire going. His secondary and terciary typing gives him many natural advantages. I pulled out the eggs (Abe) these 2 are Wattkey I said holding up the egg. This is Aguana, I held up her egg, they are special. Along with Kiddle, the first of their kinds! This *flash* (Oak) A Shiny Pichu! Professor Oak said out loud. The Pichu that my daughter carries is this one's older sibling. He was the first to hatch I said patting Kiddle. (Oak) you speak pokemon? (Abe) I can understand them, it kind of just translates in my head. Does that make sense? (Oak) I suppose it does. He stood up and dusted himself off. Well now, shall we go inside and we can get them checked. The eggs need to be put in a proper incubator. (Abe) I grabbed the ball in my pocket, Haunter you're free to explore. Pichu woke up and climbed on to my shoulder
(Oak) Oh? I see you have pokemon already. (Abe) Haunter he's my buddy but also my partner. Kiddle is one of my children, Pichu is my second poke-son. As we started to make our way inside (Oak) Why don't you kids explore the ranch? You'll have lots of time to get use to it, why not make friends with the Pokemon? (Abe) maybe we should get this out of the way and I know they're curious about the other two eggs. I know we're not going anywhere Professor. They should know about these 3 at one point or another they will end up with an egg from one of them. Maybe even all of them I said looking at Luna.
Jenny had been a bit stunned and was silent until just then. (OfJ) Okay then, I'm gonna get back to the station. You're a handsome one Kiddle! I'll see you soon, Ugh! So cute! (Oak) Ok Jenny, we'll see you soon. Abe, children, shall we go talk about things? We made our way into the Lab (Oak) Well now, let's see those eggs we'll get them into the incubator. (Abe) pulling the eggs out I passed them to Professor Oak, Here you go Professor. He put the eggs into the incubator and hooked the sensors up. Leaving them be, he turned around (Oak) You're definitely not from this world! The plates on your vehicle speak volumes to that account. There's a story behind this, and I'm willing to listen.
Picking up Kiddle and passing him to Oak so he could give him his first check up. (Abe)
Ok, I turned around to my children, Im going to talk and you're going to listen and learn. Understand? (Abe) I watched Estrella put a hand on DJ's shoulder. She's wiser than you think DJ, listen and learn. *Sigh* You're right Samuel, we are not from this world. On our world the infrastructure is falling apart. Our animals are just that, animals, no powers. There is war humans on humans, and what is left is kind of survival of the fittest.
Tears in the fabric of time and space led Celebi to the doorstep of my business. He was hurt and I was reunited with Estrella the day we met him. Celebi popped into existence at that moment. (Celebi) *Hi Sam, long time no see* unraveled in my head. Sam looked at Celebi and smiled. (Oak) Hello old friend, you brought this person to me? (Abe) Actually Samuel, I know a lot about Pokemon. I was a huge fan of the anime and lore that was provided. (Oak) ANIME!? (Abe) Yes, on our world this is an animated series, comic, videogame, and card game.
That's how I know about you and them.
My only requirement for taking to this arrangement, was to be able to work directly with you. (Oak) I see *deep sigh* I take it Arceus put his hoof on this as well. These eggs? (Abe) I and Arceus are their progenitors, they come from here. I said pointing at my head, I created 3 pokemon, Arceus gave them life. These are my children, no different than the ones behind me. We want to make our life here! That being said I'd like to run a mobile restaurant. I wouldn't want to put all the monetary weight on your shoulders Samuel. Maybe a Research fellowship, giving Oak Labs the exclusive discovery rights for the Kiddle/ Flammabilly, Wattkey/Monwattage/Apewire, and Aguana/Aguagon/Junglagon breeds.
(Oak) WOW! You really thought this out, didn't you? Ok based on the names, I'm going to assume that this *picks up Wattkey's egg* is the Wattkey egg? (Abe) Yes this *clears throat* Wattkey: The sparking pokemon. Wattkey is an Electric/Fighting and Rock Type. Wattkey spends time in higher elevation forests, and mountainous terrains where thunder and lightning are common. The Wattkey line, like the Elekid line have the ability Motordrive. Wattkey is inquisitive, energetic and loyal, their packmates are everything to them.
Monwattage: The evolved form of Wattkey. Monwattage is the only other Pokemon that is capable of naturally learning the move Volt Tackle. Apewire: this is the final evolution of the Wattkey line. Apewire has a permanent feud with Electivire, there can only be one Alpha. (Oak) *opens his eyes wider* (Abe) She is direct competition to Salamance/ Dragonite/ Garchomp/ and Drudigan lines. Almost to blood fued levels, I shrugged. One more thing, Aguana does not and cannot ever fly! So her disdain for flying dragons makes her meaner than expected. She has something to prove to all other dragons.
(Oak) impossible, how can that type of dragon possibly be competition for those monsters!? (Abe) I am quite proud of her *sigh* Aguana: The natural pokemon, a Water/ Grass/ and Dragon type. With no need to worry about flight, all of Aguana's abilities are channeled into speed and overwhelming power. (Oak) That is indeed powerful, on paper. I see, he paused for a few moments to collect his thoughts. Tell me Abe, you say you love them like your children. I take it you will cultivate all this power out of them? (Abe) With everything I have Sam, with everything I have. Give me about a week and I can have paperwork made for your family. The incubator was open and Pichu made her way towards Wattkey's egg. She nuzzles up next to it and her passive static electric power synced up with the egg. (Abe) would you look at that she's already looking after her little brother. Wattkey's egg shook, the spark of electric power arced over the egg. The professor was looking at the monitor studying the readings.
(Oak) Looks like Wattkey will be joining us shortly. He said with wonder in his eyes, Samuel Oak still enjoyed the birth of a new life. He said as he opened a drawer, pulled out a pokeball and tossed it to me. This will help you complete the bond. (Abe) grabbing Wattkey's egg I sat down on the floor. His egg between my legs, the egg making my arms tingle a bit. I began to meditate gathering the force as his energy and mine began to synchronize. Using his electrical output to change the nature of the force to match. Soon his energy and my own were moving in synchronicity. I kept my eyes closed as this was happening.
I can feel the energies merging and resonating with one another. As this synchronicity comes to a head, the egg begins to crack. (Abe) Wattkey, you're safe son, it's time to come into the real world. I noticed this energy swirling in the room. I could feel my children, and then there was Sam. Impressive is what I thought, that's a lot of power you hide. The Aura of a King Ranked trainer is terrifying. My own power was working at about 30 percent. And it felt like I could be roughly as strong as Samuel Oak. I take pride in that as Wattkey's egg cracks again. I could feel the destabilizing, so I poured more power into keeping it stable. (Oak) What power! The flash grew so bright it blinded everyone.
When the flash cleared, there was a small ape pokemon with rocky protrusions on its head, knuckles, and the tip of his tail. His bottom jaw and fingers were the typical electric yellow. It made it look like he wore a pair of gloves. The rest of his body was a dark brownish gray. Watt? *Papa?* (Abe) Yes son, welcome home. I said taping the pokeball to his crown. Ding! The ball took no time in accepting the bond. I called him back out as Kiddle walked up to us, Pichu joining the fray.
(Kiddle) *welcome little brother* (Wattkey) *brother, you and me?* (Black) *Who are you?* (Wattkey) *Me? I'm Wattkey* I pick him up, hey little one I'm Abe smiling at him. I said let's get strong together. Watt *Papa!* As he hugged on me. (Oak) that is a beautiful coat, such a bright yellow, he seems lively and observant. He sat as his desk and typed in the basic measurements taken from Kiddle, and now Wattkey entering them into a Pokedex he created a program for me. Then he copied the program 4 times.
Into 4 different devices, (Oak) Quentin you're 10 and you little lady you're younger than he is. So it's a bit too early for you to become a trainer. I'm sure your Dad will make sure you have a good knowledge base. So when you're ready you start off strong. He handed Estrella a purple Pokedex for you miss. (Estrella) Thanks Professor Oak! I won't let you down. He handed a green Pokedex to DJ and he could only stare at it, he declined it (DJ) Thanks Professor Oak, I appreciate this opportunity, but I think Quentin will benefit from the Dex more than I would.
(Luna) *jumps for joy* thank you! thank you! thank you! Hugging her new pink dex, just understand that it's essentially useless to you until your journey officially begins. Finally he handed me a black Pokedex. (Oak) I trust you, you can't fake what I just witnessed. That Aura of yours is something else, I've only ever seen that in well disciplined, seasoned trainers. (Abe) Sam, I shook my head, I don't have any Aura power. It doesn't exist on my world, what you see is the result of a lot of physical training. Meditation to touch the force, I assume they are essentially the same.
The next few days was spent with Professor Oak getting our paperwork settled. Now we had a way to identify ourselves here. Squirtle! Squirtle wait up, I'm not as fast as you are! Squir-tle! Squirtle squirt *Come on DJ catch up* a quarter mile to the north of those 2 was Luna. (Luna) mmmm this is nice! I love laying in the grass with you Bulbasaur. (Bulbasaur) *I like you too Luna, you're the nicest* The humans couldn't understand their soon to be partners, yet. DJ and Estrella would help around the Lab taking care of the pokemon.
Pichu was becoming better and better at moving around and Estrella was already directing her in speed drills. Recently Raltz and DJ were working on their telepathy more and more. He discovered that he too could use the energy to lift and move things. Luna was learning with Professor Oak directly. She loved the Lab and all it's equipment. I would help with the heavier work and larger pokemon. In the Lab and anywhere else pokemon related.
-2 Months Later-
There was a Dratini in the lab and she had taken to wrapping herself around Aguana's egg. A shiny golden Charmander would also climb in the incubator to sleep with the Dragon types. I was checking Aguana's egg readings and cleaning the Lab equipment for Sam. He really took a liking for my cooking, I told him again, I planned to open a mobile restaurant. The kids can help me run it, and we can do business in the cities we stop in. We will probably make the trip a few times so these places will remember us. If we also happen to be competent, adept, or even masterful trainers.
Well that's just a plus, I was thinking as Aguana decided it was finally time to meet her. Her egg started to wiggle scaring off her incubator mates. I picked her egg up and I could feel it, her aura was big. I mean, damn! Her aura was already a dark forest green and darkening. I sat down and meditated with her like I did with both Kiddle and Wattkey. As I thought about them they made their way into the Lab. They chorus: *Papa, what's going on?* (Abe) It's almost time, she will be born soon.
(Kiddle/ Black/ Watt) *Little sister, little sister* Sam came into the Lab to do what I was already doing. When he saw me already meditating with Aguana's egg. (Oak) I see she is finally ready to show herself, I am very curious about her. *Crack* the egg wiggles again the green became an aquamarine color creeping into light blue. (Abe) Sam, check the screen? The color of her aura settled at just short of cerulean blue. I wanted to see if the machine picked this up as well. (Oak) Incredible, what potential this little lady has! Her egg cracked again, as her energy and my own synchronized, she too was born.
Beautiful aquamarine colored scaled Dragon that shone in the sun. A hooked beak style maw, a crown of leaves and a tail bush as well. She had nice thick claws made for hunting. And blue tones to denote her water typing. (Oak) We're looking at an extraordinary pokemon here. (Aguana) *I'm sorry I made you wait Papa* (Abe) That's ok babygirl, you're here now. *Tap* *ding* Well, I guess that makes four and Haunter. (Oak) That's a good start if you ask me. (Abe) come on out Aguana! *Flash* (Aguana) *Papa! Brothers!* *Flash* (Haunter) *You're here now! WOW! You have such pretty colors little sister.*
(Abe) They're great aren't they Sam? (Oak) Yes, yes they are Abe. I picked up Aguana, now little lady. It's time for your first check up with Professor Oak. Sam hooked her up to the machines and checked all the things he needed to. He then made her entry into the system, and I handed him my Pokedex. A few moments later *Ding* my reprogrammed Pokedex back in my hands (Abe) Thanks Sam, I really appreciate your hospitality. I've really learned a lot just from being one of your research assistants. I feel like it's time to get more hands on, wouldn't you agree? (Oak) *handing Aguana back to me* I do, that's a fine idea.
Get acquainted with what your partners can do. (Abe) yeah, that's the way to go. I'm gonna take them outside to get use to being around others. Come on, let's get some sunshine! We're going to walk the grounds and introduce her to the Pokemon. We made our way outside and took in the sun. My pokemon enjoying the feeling of the warmth on their fur and scales. Aguana's leaf crest separated and fluffed out making her head look bigger. Her hooked beak snapping at leaves she would munch on during our walk. The boys were racing or Kiddle was chasing Wattkey is more like it. I brought them out to an open area, I then had them run around chasing each other trying to activate their Quick Attacks.
I spent the next week making that happen with varying degrees of success. Kiddle and Wattkey cracked it on the 3rd day, Aguana on the last. Kiddle also learned Sand Storm, Wattkey learned Discharge. For Aguana the last day gave us Razor Leaf and Vine Whip. That day we learned she had all four of the whips I had in mind when creating her.
(Bulbasaur) *You're the best Luna* the shiny Bulbasaur had become attached to Luna. *Quentin wait up* This was a special Charmander, his mother was a Dragonite. His father was one of the strongest to ever come out of the Charicific Valley. (Oak) Would you look at that! That little rascal doesn't like anyone, he must be quite special indeed. Turning towards me he continued, you should be proud of them. They're all quite unique yet still so very much your children.
(Abe) I smiled at Sam, thanks. I know they are, I spent so much time away from them. Now all I can do is be there for them. So we'll take this journey together and make a good life here. Samuel? How hard is it to open a business here? (Oak) A business? (Abe) Yeah, I want to open a mobile kitchen so we can make extra money. At least while we visit the Gyms around Kanto. Maybe I can make a name for myself here!? (Oak) is everything thing you cook similar to the dishes you've made so far? (Abe) I have tricks up my sleeve Sam, I intend on taking a crack at the Coordinatior Circuit. The Pokemon Leagues are also something I want to take a crack at. I want my children to experience it all.
(Oak) I can help you with all these things Abe. It's good to have connections, I know a lot of different people. (Abe) You have no idea how much I appreciate your help Sam. (Oak) Nonsense Abe, you've got a real gift for exactly the things you want to do. I think you have your niche found. (Abe) Sam, Can I borrow Hitmon Lee? He can use Focus Blast, right? (Oak) Yes, he can! But, why do you need his Focus Blast? (Abe) I'd like to see how it fares against my Rasengan. (Oak) Rase?(Abe) It's an old dialect from my world it means Spraling Sphere. It's compressed energy spinning violently in an energy shell. It's like getting hit with a ball shaped grinder I shrugged.
(Oak) I'd very much like to see this, would you mind if I got some readings off you? While you use your force, I want to see how much like Aura your power is. (Abe) Sure, I'm curious about that myself. He set the sensors on me, I moved the force around inside my body, allowing it to move everywhere. (Oak) Amazing! I can see where it has similarities to Aura. But you're right Abe, this is a unique power of it's own. I began to create a Rasengan, allowing the force to gather into my palm. The sphere making Sam's eyes widen to dinner plates.
(Oak) if these readings are correct this technique is on par with Dragon Pulse.
(Abe) Hahaha funny thing is, it's incomplete, it can be made stronger. I haven't figured out the nature change for the 5 main elements. So far I believe I'm closer to the Electric change. Maybe Fire after that, but well worth the time it'll take to work the kinks out. I named it after an anime move of roughly the same concept. I think that Lord Arceus sought me out for a reason. I think we're almost there, the little ones should be ready to go in the next 6 months. Removing the sensors (Oak) I can see physically the why. The way you dote over all of your children. It warms my heart when I get to see it. You know? You treat the pokemon the same way, I don't know if you noticed that.
(Abe) hmmm yeah, those pokemon came from my brain. My heart, they are my children Sam. Proving the point Wattkey made his way into the Lab. He jumped into my lap, Waaatt *Papa* (Abe) yes little one, what can I do for you? Watt *hugs* curling up in my lap he just enjoys being there. When I got up he climbed onto my shoulder. Hugging my head, Watt key *Papa's great* (Abe) they're gonna be strong Sam, so very strong. I'm aware I have a tall order ahead of me. Unfortunately for me this is just another day at work. Adversity is the story of my life, I shrugged. (Oak) I think you'll do just fine. I see that? Luna and the shiny Bulbasaur have been spending a lot of time together recently.
(Abe) yeah, I think she's sweet on her, couldn't wish for a better partner myself. The kids made their way towards the area the Pokemon were running around in. They gasped at intervals as they laid eyes on Agauana sunning herself. (Estrella) Dad! Did the egg hatch? (Abe) She sure did, beautiful isn't she? Say hello to your siblings Aguana. Aaaguanaaa *Hey guys, the sun feels good* (Luna) her scales are so shiny! (Quentin) Beautiful like my Gold. (Aguana) *snorts* (DJ) Hey Uncle, she really is a beautiful dragon. You say she's part water type? He nods, very interesting indeed. Soo pretty! Quentin, and Luna chorused.
-Time Skip: Two Years-
I've taught you all I can, you can handle the brick and mortar business from here DJ. I'll make our name bigger the further out we go. I'm sad I don't get to spend more time with you. But I'm glad you'll be there to take care of Joey. I ruffle Joey's hair, Uncle is gonna miss you kiddo. He jumps into my arms and hugs me with all his little strength. Bye Papa! We miss you! He then went back to DJ's arms and cried on his shoulder. I had the van checked out, most parts were roughly the same, we rigged the thing to work in this world. This tank of gas should last us for quite some time thanks to the atomizer.
We drove for about 45 minutes before I pulled off the road and closer to a tree. Using a map we had I made a grid for us to walk and we set off. (Abe) Everyone, keep your eyes moving in all directions including up. We're not at Oak Labs anymore. This is the real world now! Stick together, Estrella take point, I'll cover the rear. As we moved the length of the grid I maked the edges of it so we knew where we had been. I spread out my senses and took in the forest where we stopped. There's a few Nidoran, an Ekans, Caterpie, Weedle, is that a Kaskoon? In Kanto?? Oh man, nothing is the way it seems. A shiny black mass rocketed by just above the tree line. Is that a CORVIKNIGHT!?
Keep your eyes peeled everybody! We're probably going to see things that you would deem impossible by the knowledge we already came with. (Luna) Ok well, I see something I want! (Abe) Alright lead the way love, this is her fight! Luna pulled her pokeball out, (Luna) Let's go: Pinky! A bright flash later and her shiny Bulbasaur came into view. Her green tones were inverted and her flower was a fuscia pink. Weedle! I challenge you to a battle! I want you to be on my team. Having trained in the use of Aura sight, I used my vision to look at this Weedle. A nice solid orange borderline red aura, this will be a good partner for her.
Suddenly another Weedle jumps down, in front of the one Luna challenged. Angry eyes set on our group, this Weedle insisting it wasn't going to let his sister be taken by some worthless humans. Quentin's aura was strong to begin with. The language became easier to decipher the longer he got to hear it. (Quentin) My sister is not worthless! He hissed out almost inaudibly. This Weedle had a lime green aura, I nudge Quentin forward. (Abe) Looks like you're both adding a new friend to your teams. His partner let's himself out in a bright flash, Chaaarrr! Alright Gold! Weedle was surprisingly fast. Barely making it away from quite a few Razor Leaf attacks. Pinky evaded the String Shot, (Luna) Pinky: Stun Spore, Let's go! (Quentin) Alright Gold: Use Headbutt! Weedle was surprisingly fast and used Poison Sting again. (Quentin) Ember, Let's go! Weedle's Poison Sting not making past the flames of Gold's Ember. I'm glad that things worked out like this.
