Edmund Wilson hadn't seen Ruby Murphy and Ryan for almost half a month. Last time he returned to the small home they shared, before he'd even warmed the seat, Ruby found an excuse to send him away.
The time before that was the same.
Even on the phone, out of ten calls, Ruby would answer at most twice. Their conversation never lasted more than a few sentences before she hung up.
He couldn't figure out what went wrong—they had always had a good relationship.
He didn't think Skylar Wilson told Melody Sheffield anything and that Melody was scheming behind his back. If Melody knew, with her temper, she wouldn't be so quiet.
So, it might be Finn Wilson.
He understood this son well—an apparent playboy with hidden depths. Otherwise, he wouldn't manage the Wilson Group so effectively.
If Finn was secretly doing something, it was indeed possible.
But Ruby didn't say anything to him, so he couldn't be sure.
