Half an hour before the wedding, Emma Moreland felt bored and left the wedding venue. Behind the castle was a stretch of woodland, lush with trees and a floor covered with grass and small flowers she couldn't name,
Relieving some of her frustration. She took off her shoes and held them in her hand, lifting her skirt as she walked into the woods. The soft grass felt wonderful underfoot.
The deeper she went, the better the scenery became, and she found it hard to tear her eyes away.
"I told you, don't come looking for me again."
Suddenly, she heard a voice. Emma Moreland was startled. Wasn't that Nick's voice?
She looked toward the sound but only saw a thick bush. Jonathan Wilson's voice came from behind it.
"Nick, how can you be so cowardly? Are you willing to live like this forever? Always in Callum Wilson's shadow? The future power and wealth of The Wilsons won't belong to you. How can you be content with that?" A female voice Emma had never heard before spoke up.
