Three months had passed since the conclusion of the Monster Cores Hunting Competition. Ye Feng immersed himself in cultivation, frequenting the library to study a wide range of texts. Yet, above all else, he prioritized cultivation comprehension notes, eager to accelerate his progress and strengthen himself against the looming threat of the Zhang clan's followers.
During those three months, Ye Feng was attacked repeatedly by the Zhang clan's followers. Each time he was pushed to the brink, Senior Zhao and his men intervened and saved him.
Acting on Rou's instructions, Senior Zhao and his men would create a loud disturbance whenever they face the Zhang clan's followers. As soon as the headmaster showed up, the followers of the Zhang clan were expelled from the academy.

Ye Feng opened his eyes at the sudden knock. Rising from his lotus position, he stored the remaining monster cores back into his spatial belt. He then walked over and opened the door.
He was surprised after he opened the door and saw his first brother. Ye Long smirking at him, "Fifth Brother, aren't you going to invite me in? That's rather rude, don't you think?"
Ye Feng smiled at Ye Long's words and stepped aside, allowing him to enter his dwelling. After Ye Long went in, Ye Feng closed the door and sat down across from him.
Ye Long looked at his brother and smiled. "Fifth Brother, I can see that your cultivation has increased by leaps and bounds."
Ye Feng smiled at Ye Long and nodded lightly. "Yes. Thanks to the monster cores I obtained during the competition, my cultivation speed has increased by leaps and bounds. I'm only one step away from breaking through to the Saint Master Realm."
Ye Long froze for a heartbeat after hearing Ye Feng's words, then threw his head back and laughed.
"HAHAHA! I don't know whether I should envy your talent or feel proud to call you my youngest brother."
Ye Feng returned the smile and retrieved a gourd of wine from his spatial belt. Without exchanging another word, the two brothers began drinking together.
After drinking for a while, Ye Long looked at Ye Feng seriously and said, "Fifth brother, I've come to tell you that I'll be going back home for some time."
Ye Feng was surprised. "Why are you going back home, First Brother? You're already in the Saint Realm, isn't staying here in the academy is the best option for you to advance your cultivation?"
Ye Long smiled faintly at the concerned tone in Ye Feng's voice and replied, "I lack combat skills and experience. I nearly died in the Dragon Forest when Zhang Bo and Zhang Wei's team ambushed me. I've decided to return to the Ye family to improve my combat abilities and gain more experience."

Ye Long smiled and replied. "Tomorrow."
Ye Feng nodded again and pulled more wine gourds from his space belt.
"Well, let's continue drinking, first brother. It will be a while before we see each other again."
Ye Long laughed and nodded to Ye Feng. The two siblings resumed drinking and chatting, sharing stories and laughter late into the evening. When they had grown drunk, Ye Long finally bid Ye Feng farewell and made his way back to his own dwelling.

Two Weeks later
In Rou's Dwelling
Two weeks had passed since Ye Long left the Azure Dragon Academy. Rou sat in a lotus position, lost in deep thought about the current situation, while her five maids stood silently behind her, ready to carry out any order she might give.
'The Zhang family's followers stopped attacking Ye Feng. According to the report I received, their numbers in the academy had been drastically reduced, though they were not eliminated completely. Right now, my only option is to either strike a deal with Ye Feng or form an alliance with him to remove them entirely.'
She sighed in her heart. 'I think it's time for me to meet Ye Feng as the Third Princess of the Hidden Dragon Kingdom and see how things unfold. In our meeting, I can only hope everything goes smoothly.'
After making up her mind, Rou turned to one of her maids and said, "Mei, bring me an empty scroll, ink, and a brush." Mei nodded and hurried to fetch the items Rou had requested.
Mei is the most trusted maid Rou has; they have known each other since childhood.
Mei had long dark, silky hair and deep onyx eyes. Her skin was smooth and silk-like, complementing her curvy, feminine figure. She had full, plump, shapely breasts, long slender legs, and a delicate waist. Her face was irresistibly cute, almost doll-like in its perfection.
Mei carried the scroll to her mistress, along with the brush and ink. Rou wrote a letter to Ye Feng and handed it to Mei. Then, she scribbled something on a blank sheet of paper and gave that to Mei as well.
She looked at Mei and said, "On this paper, I've written the address of Ye Feng's dwelling. I want you to give him the scroll and wait for his response. If he accepts my invitation, bring him here immediately."
Mei cupped her fist respectfully before departing to carry out her mistress's command.
Rou then turned to her other maids. "Ya, Xiu, I want you to clean the lounge and prepare wine, tea, and some delicacies for our guest as quickly as possible. Move swiftly—I want everything perfect and ready by the time I am fully ready."
Ya and Xiu cupped their fists. They were twins had their hair tied tightly in buns, brown eyes, exquisite noses, creamy skin, small lips, round breasts, and round, cute faces.
They quickly set off to carry out the order they had just received from Rou.
Seeing this, Rou addressed her remaining maids. "Ling, Fang, assist me in getting ready for my guest." In unison, they cupped their fists. "As you wish, Princess."
Ling's eyes were large and dark as night, her lips soft and rosy. Her figure was graceful, with a slender waist and full, rounded chest, framed by crimson hair neatly tied in a bun, and an elegant, refined face.
Fang had purple hair neatly tied in a bun, a curvaceous figure, and long, slender legs. Her face was strikingly pure and beautiful, capable of turning heads wherever she went, and her black eyes sparkled with a playful, mischievous glint.
Rou, accompanied by her two maids, left to prepare for her meeting with Ye Feng.

In Ye Feng's Dwelling
Ye Feng sat in a lotus position in his dwelling, concentrating on absorbing the monster core cradled in his hand. Suddenly, a sharp knock on the door interrupted his focus.
"KNOCK!, KNOCK!"
He inhaled deeply, steadying his mind. Carefully, he returned the monster core to his space belt, rose from his meditative stance, and walked toward the door before opening it.
Mei couldn't help but blush when she saw Ye Feng. 'So handsome… '
She quickly cupped her fist and spoke, "Young Master Ye, my lady sent this letter to you and requested that I wait for your answer."
Ye Feng narrowed his eyes at Mei's words. 'Is this some scheme by the Zhang family's followers?' He took the scroll from her and began reading, his brow furrowing with each line.
"Dear Young Master Ye Feng, my name is Su Rou, the third princess of the Hidden Dragon Kingdom. You saved my life during the recent Monster Cores Hunting Competition. If that does not ring a bell, perhaps this will: I am the one who assisted you in the library while you were searching for the Saint-Weapon condensation method."
Ye Feng's eyes widened in surprise. 'I never imagined she was one of the Hidden Dragon Kingdom's princesses,' he thought, before returning to his reading.
"I am aware of the difficulties you are currently facing with the Zhang family's followers. I wish to meet with you regarding a proposition that I am confident you will find intriguing. My maid will escort you to my residence, where we can speak in person—if you have no objections. Thank you for your time, Young Master Ye Feng."
Ye Feng furrowed his brow and thought, 'Why is she interested in the Zhang family's followers? What's going on between the Zhang family and the Royale family? Something's not right. If I want answers, I need to meet the princess.'
After making up his mind, Ye Feng looked at Mei and said, "Take me to the princess." Mei cupped her fist respectfully. "Right away, Young Master Ye."
Ye Feng locked the door to his dwelling and followed Mei to meet Rou.
