Ray had never heard of a broken memory so he had no idea what this was, but their wasn't any reason to not absorb it as anything from the terminal couldn't be harmful.
"Yes"
Ray suddenly started having a headache, everything started vanishing from his sight until he found himself floating in void. Just as Ray started getting out of shock the void around him twisted and turned several cracks seemed to appear in the void and all of a sudden the void shattered.
Ray was very terrified at this moment, first he was transported to a void and now he was standing in middle of an apocalyptic event. Their was fire and blood everywhere, and in the middle of all this a huge wolf arrived at the border of the city. It had its eyes wide and bloodshot and stared at this hell with rage that seemed to be able to destroy this world.
The wolf looked at the sky, their two angel like beings with wings could be seen flying in the sky.
Ray found those two beings quite familiar but he couldn't pinpoint where he had seen them.
"Why?... Why have you done this?, What have they ever done to you"
Mixed with a lot of pain and anger the wolf screamed.
Hearing the wolf exclaim one of the angles formed a bolt of lightning in her hand and made a throwing posture.
"Wretched dogs like you don't get to ask us questions"
Saying so the angel threw the bolt with all her strength and added.
"You should have happily followed your master to death"
But before the lightning bolt could reach the wolf it suddenly turned into smoke. And from the smoke a girl appeared appeared, she had wings similar to those of the other two angels. She had a murderous look in her eyes as she glared at the angel who spoke.
The mysterious girl vanished from her spot, seeing this the two angels became stunned and a expression of fear seemed to appear on their faces. They tried to make a defensive stance but were too late as the girl appeared in front of the foul mouthed angel and kicked her face. that angel was thrown off with high momentum and crashed on the ground.
"My master is not dead"
As the girl spoke the atmosphere seemed to get chilled by several degrees.
"You!, How dare you attack one of the zodiacs"
The other angel finally back to her senses seemed extremely angered at the audacity of that wolf girl. She raised her sword and charged at the girl. As the mysterious girl saw her charging she raised her hand and a massive scythe appeared appeared in her hand, it was gleaming with cold light, It seemed to be thirsting to reap someone's soul.
Ray who was watching from below shuddered when he saw that scythe appear. By now Ray already knew what he was seeing was just a vision and nothing was real. Their was no way that those strong people hadn't noticed him. Their also was a possibility that they simply chose to ignore him seeing how weak he was. Now the only problem was why was he here and how could he get out. But their was nothing Ray could do now then to watch things get unfolded.
The mysterious girl and the angel finally collided. The angel thrust her sword towards the girl. The girl spined her scythe creating a gap between them immediately followed by a hooking motion. Before the angel could retrieve the sword it was hooked by the scythe and she was pulled along with the sword. The girl swung her scythe aiming to cleave the angel's head but just in time the angle was able to react and and flapped her wing to retreat. But the angel was still left with a shallow cut in the neck.
The angel looked at the mysterious girl with a solemn look. A deep fear could be seen on her eyes.
"You-"
Before the angel could speak anything else the mysterious girl spined her scythe again and created a momentum to charge at the angel. The angel made a half-sword stance, and she suddenly radiated with golden light.
"Divine Skill Cross blade strike"
The angel suddenly lunged at the mysterious girl slashing at her alternating its direction from time to time. The mysterious girl seemed to struggle at the flurry of blows. The girl was trying to parry the blows using her handle as much as possible. But the blows were getting faster and faster. A slight frown appeared on the mysterious girl's face as she already started getting shallow cuts all over her body.
"Do you see the difference wrench"
As the angel started getting the upper hand she started laughing maniacally, she had a vicious grin plastered on her face.
"This is the divine power you have rejected, do you regret it now?"
The angel's attacks became more and more vicious but what she didn't know was that the mysterious girl had been waiting for an opening which she just got when the angel's attack became chaotic. She was using the handle to block the strikes for a reason. she suddenly pulled her scythe which made the sword getting hooked, As the angel thought the mysterious girl would use the same trick of pulling her she loosened her sword. As she had an upper hand on strength and agility she had nothing to worry about. or at least that was what she seemed to have thought.
Instead the mysterious girl made a sweeping arc that deflected the sword and suddenly made a backhand strike. The reaping blow hit the angel and suddenly the angel screamed as if her mind had been shattered. The reaping strike seemed to damage the soul rather than physical body.
Seeing the opening the mysterious girl started making an overhead chop with the scythe wanting to cleave the angel in half. But her eyes widened as the girl tried to make a retreat. But she was too late and she got pierced by a lightning bolt. She seemed to have become paralyzed and blood started flowing from her nose and ears. The angel who had gotten her soul damaged seemed to have recovered a little and pierced the girl with her sword. The mysterious girl seemed to lose all her strength started falling to the ground.
"What took you so long?"
The wounded angel complained as seeing her sorry state.
"The wrench hit me on my head too hard, I seemed to have become unconscious for a moment"
As they were quarreling they seemed to have relaxed a lot. That girl almost got them, if they were alone they were sure they couldn't have defeated her. Glancing at the unconscious dying girl she gloated.
"That dog thought it could beat us, she's too naive to have thought we wouldn't use any underhanded methods"
The sword wielding angel cursed at the girl, but the other angel was still worried, the mysterious girl was too strong for them they couldn't let her recover at any costs.
"Let's finish her.. before.. before she can recover"
The wand wielding angel's jaws were still dislocated from that confrontation. She was still scared of her.
They both landed near the unconscious girl. Coincidentally they were where Ray was. Ray had been observing the situation from the start to finish. He was now sure that no one could see him as even this close they didn't even seemed to notice his presence. He thought he should take the side of angel but when he saw the wolf girl getting stabbed his heart also panged with pain, he didn't know why but he now wanted the wolf to win. But alas this seemed to be an end for her.
As if to prove him right the sword wielding angel raised her sword. But just as she was about to swing the mysterious girl's body shined and suddenly she became smoke yet again. And a huge wolf was revealed below the smoke. the astonishing part was she looked unharmed.
With grim expression both the angel got to an offensive stance.
"Curses why is she back to normal again"
The sword wielding angel muttered.
"No!, look at her eyes she has gone berserk, that means she is just using her instincts to fight"
The wand wielding angel grinned.
"You confuse her I will attack"
The sword wielding expert nodded, and charged at the wolf.
