We arrive at the shop, and I enter and can see the tape measure measuring Draco and i noticed that the shop owner seemed to be in the back.
I heard her say that she would help me in a few moments and to please wait so I sat in the waiting area.
it is as I sit down, I noticed that the measurement for Draco is done he noticed me and introduced himself as Draco malfoy. unaware that he is speaking to Harry Potter, makes a few derogatory comments about Muggles and Hagrid. He also mentions his belief that some wizarding families are better than others.
after he said that he left the shop not even letting Leo talk to him as he thinks of him as a lowly muggle born thanks to his father teachings Leo thought 'man I bet that Lucius taught him that, I bet he is gay and is still in the closet I mean it will explain a lot of his actions and why Draco doesn't have a sibling I wonder if he has a crush on good old voldy maybe he is a secret masochist.
after a few minutes the owner came out from the back and introduced herself to Leo she said.
"Helo dear I am the Miss Malkin's I will be taking your measurements and fitting your clothes you order I take it you are here for school shopping for Hogwarts."
Leo "yes miss it is verry nice to meet you my name is harry potter I will be starting my first year this year I would be needing the regular things for school."
miss Malkin's seemed a little shocked but showing her experience she quickly changed her expression to a warm smile as she said, "Alright dear I will make this quick so that you can be on your way." and so she did, she was done with the measurements Pretty fast and told me that the cloths should be ready in the afternoon.
As I left hagride took me to the bookstore Flourish and Blott's and asked me if I was ok to do this myself and that there was something he needed to do my reply was a yes and so after a quick explanation of what to do he left.
I entered the store and looked for the books I needed for school after finding them I grabbed the books that I would need, and I looked around at the other books and found the book that Hermione refenced when she got into the dining hall of the school, I read it for a little while, it is not a bad read very interesting I see why she read it other than the fact she is a book worm no idea how she ended up in Gryffindor I swear she at the time should have been in Ravenclaw but later as she grew up she did change which I find interesting she is still a genius.
after wasting some time, I pay for the books and leave as I see hagride with Hedwig and I find it amusing that this is so like hagride to gift a pet as a present He sure loves animals magic or not very interesting, I can understand though they are loyal once you gain their trust, they won't betray you unlike humans they will be with you and love you for who you are.
when I get to him, he said "surprise harry happy birthday."
I smile warmly and ask "thank you hagride does she have a name."
he seemed a little surprised that I knew it was a She but he just said
" no you could name her she is a present for you, so it is your choice."
"thank you I will name her Hedwig, I love the present hagride thank you I don`t get many of them for any of the holidays or my birthday." he seemed a little sad along with anger although he didn`t show it he decided to take me to a sweat shop and told me pick a few and that he would get it for me so I picked a chocolate frog, sherbet lemon, sugar quills and pumpkin pastry and boy they were good hagride had a quill and got himself Bartie Botts Every flavor bean`s
after that we head to Ollivander to get my wand hagride waited outside when I entered the store, I sensed Ollivander was Hiding under a disillusion charm and was trying to startle me and so when he removed the charm and spoke, I jumped slightly he started talking about how he remembered giving my mother and father their first wands which was made of mahogany, measured 11 inches in length, and was described as pliable. It was said to be a little more powerful and excellent for transfiguration for his father and for his mother it was made of willow, measured 10¼ inches in length, and was described as "swishy". it was good for charm work.
he then went and said sadly he also sold the wand to the person that gave me the scare that is on my forehead he asked which hand i will use for the wand Leo said his right hand he then measured his arm and his Hight after he put a few boxes in front of me he took out the wand and gave it to me I feel that all the wands in the store are willing to let me use them the wand I hold is no different but Ollivander used magic to mess with the wand and made it look like it rejected me.
seeing him do that I knew what he was doing so I decided to get back at him for wasting my time he gives me another wand and does the same thing this time I aimed it at the shelf right above him the wand shot a blast and hit the shelf it breaks and wand and boxes fell toward him he was fast and cast a levitation spell though he missed one and it hit him in the head giving a bump on his head I look at him looking innocent and apologetic and said "sorry sir I didn`t mean to do that are you ok" I looked into his eyes and they looked slightly embarrassed and confused slightly he looked at me and said "I`m ok though this is definitely not the wand for you"
he gave me another wand to try and did the same thing, so I pointed the wand slightly to another shelf and it fired and broke the shelf more wands fell making a mess he looked at me and said definitely not and took the wand he gave me another wand and told me to point it at the other side of the store and he still messed with the magic of the wand so I moved it and the wand cast a stinging hex that was facing the entrance secretly I manipulated the magic to ricashay off the bellcand it hit Ollivander in the same spot as the wand box earlier he yelped slightly not expecting that but playing it off he said definitely not the wand for you.
then he started acting mysterious doing his whole thing of I wonder rubbing his chin he brings to me another wand and gave it to me he did not mess with it this time it fired a beautiful phoenix made of light that flew through the room he said interesting and said the wand was 11 inches" long, made of holly, and possessed a phoenix feather core and that it is very interesting that you would get the brother wand very interesting Leo knew he wanted me to ask who`s brother wand so I did and Ollivander said well it is the same person who gave you that scare I acted a little scared and slightly repulsed but right after I just paid and said I would need to get going now I still have to get my school clothes.
so I left meeting hagrid me and hagrid left to get my clothes and leave I ask hagrid is there any place I could stay till school that is not my aunts place hagride looked a little conflicted but then said that i could stay at the leaky cauldron and stay there but he would not be allowed to go into the ally and mainly stay in the room hear until school is about to start and he would head to the train station that is a 14 to 18 minute drive from here.
but that i would not have someone to watch him and keep him safe so he would be confined to the pub no one should start something in here because Tom would not stand for it.
I answered that "I was ok just staying here and not going anywhere it would help me get used to magic and the norms of the magic world and it would keep away from my aunt and uncle who would be lived if I went back to them now as the train would leave for school on September 1 they would not be very nice to me if I went back now and they could just make me miss the train"
hagride looked sad and guilty so he just said.
"ok I will talk to tom and you should be ok here just listen to him"
so he got me a room hagrid paid for it looking a little less guilty after doing that.
entering room 11 I see the room is cozy and rustic, much like the pub itself.
The rooms are furnished in a traditional style, with wooden furniture and warm lighting and has a charming old-world feel to it.
after hagride saw that I got to the room I saw him off so he could do the things he needed to do as school was starting soon and it should be Pretty hectic.
after he left, I went to my room and laid down on the bed and slept for a while it was tiring interacting with all of them after not getting any sleep last night as hagride took me here.
