Agust was torturing Jung Hyuk when he felt it lift.
His blood ran cold, his heart hammering in his chest. A promise he had made had been broken, and he was going to make sure he figured out what had happened.
"Someone went after Jiminie. Pray that it is not to harm him, because if otherwise, I will bring your head to him," Agust said to an unconscious Jung Hyuk who was covered in blood and so bruised and broken.
It was almost hard to tell that this man here was once the king's favorite. It was crazy what had become of them, but then what was the point now, right?
"You can't protect him forever," Agust heard in the hallways as he passed by Ho Jung's chambers in the cruel dungeons.
"That is not your business," Agust bit back.
"No. But if you keep protecting him, he will hate you for it," the former Helia King, Ho Jung, said as he looked at how bloodied Agust looked. He reeked of everything Jung Hyuk, and it was not helping his case right now.
