And So Hee stiffened.
Agust saw it instantly. The giveaway that his enforcer wasn't telling him more about the situation they were in. Maybe he was over his King, but he had known this enforcer almost their whole lives.
"There is more, isn't there, So Hee?" Agust asked.
"Ming Xiao…"
"It's better for you to tell me than for me to find out on my own, don't you think?" Agust said, and So Hee sighed. The day was unfolding completely differently.
Agust was predictable where betrayal existed. There was no telling what he would do, yet with Jiminie here, a part of So Hee was daringly hopeful that the alpha would keep the king in check.
