The news of Alpha Park being wounded didn't hit Chang Zhu in the same exciting way as he had expected.
For the past six hundred years, he had made it his mission to eliminate Jiminie, and yet now that Jiminie was dying in Helia, he couldn't help but feel a different kind of resentment for that reality.
He knew his brother would never forgive me for this, but Chang Zhu had never wanted Xiao Zhu's forgiveness.
To him, he was always right.
And if Jiminie's leaving was the cost of saving Xiao Zhu from himself, then Chang Zhu would do it without question. It was just a boring sentiment he was having at the moment anyway.
"How true is the news?" Chang Zhu had asked right as Jung Hyuk walked through his front door, reeking of the alpha's blood, reeking of the oath that the alpha needed.
