Shredica's POV
I was woken up by someone throwing a bucket of cold water straight at me, and the sudden shock of the freezing liquid hitting my body made me open my eyes almost immediately.
For a few seconds, I could barely make sense of what was happening, but once my vision cleared and I managed to look around, I quickly realized that I was trapped inside a cage.
My entire body was tightly bound by chains, with layer after layer wrapped around me from practically every direction. Whoever had captured me had clearly anticipated that I wouldn't be easy to restrain, considering the ridiculous number of chains they had used to keep me from moving freely. They hadn't simply tied me up and hoped for the best. Instead, they had gone out of their way to make absolutely certain that escaping would be a serious challenge, even for someone like me.
And judging by my current situation, their preparations had worked surprisingly well.
