Opening the diary, André could not help but lament. This diary was very deteriorated and he could only read some fragments of it, such as the timeline and other scattered things that lacked sense.

His Majesty told me that I only need to contain the rebel army for six months, regardless of the losses. I cannot let them advance to the north. At this order I can only nod without asking for explanation.
Then André could not understand more. So, carefully, he searched for more interesting things and found something that left him very surprised:
We are losing the war, but His Majesty does not intend to send his legion of witches. This afternoon I saw how a witch arrived before His Majesty, always with her scarlet hair. I believe they are all the same; I have not seen a different hair color among them. After she left, His Majesty seemed tired. I dared to ask if he would finally send them to the front, but he only smiled, shook his head, and told me that they had a much more important mission.
After not being able to read more, André was in shock. He had not expected that magic existed in this world. Then he looked at Rose, who was next to Alicia, and could not help but have a strange conjecture. He decided to find a moment alone with her and then ask if she knew anything about it.
He continued reviewing anything he could understand and went directly to the end, where there was a message:
Whoever reads this diary, I hope you know that the World Empire was wronged. On the last day of the empire, His Majesty told me everything and I could not help but feel a terrible fear for what this world has to face. The covering of the book has a map attached: if you manage to arrive there you will know everything. If you do not feel ready to face terrible things, never look for this map. I write this because the capital city is under siege. In this situation, His Majesty charged me with hiding this map. I believe I am already ready for death. The legion of the witches is nowhere to be found, but I believe their mission must be more important than the fate of the World Empire.
André put away the diary with great regret. According to the little he had read, the fall of the World Empire had a hidden background that no one knew, even the first emperor of the Liberty Empire at that time.
Now André was processing this information. This world was not as simple as it seemed. He set as a priority finding out what happened at that time, for he did not want to fall suddenly without knowing what had occurred.
That was right: André, who at the beginning only planned to have great power in order to live a quiet life, had decided to follow the path of conquest after thinking about it all these years. He did not have a special motivation; he only wanted to know what there was at the end of the path. After all, he had already lived quietly in his previous life, so this time he planned to do something transcendental.
But what happened with the World Empire gave him a reminder: something large and dangerous had occurred on this planet previously. The worst was that it seemed it was still here. So he decided to investigate this thoroughly in order to know what he would face on his path of conquest.
"What does that diary have that put you so melancholy and you are sighing there?" Alicia, who came out of her previous stupor, asked again.
André was about to refuse to tell her anything. Suddenly he thought and decided to tell her everything, although obviously he hid his plans to conquer the world. He only related what he knew about the World Empire and that he had perhaps already found the destination of said map.
"Are you sure you will not regret looking for the place named in the diary?" After reading the diary together with André's explanation, Alicia asked very seriously.
She had decided to support André in whatever he did. So she would no longer oppose any of his decisions and would support him in everything she could.
"I am sure, sister. But I believe you would be surprised about the legion of witches named there," André asked her with doubt.
"Hey, in Green City there are many writings that detail the existence of the witches. Although no one knew their origin, I am a little surprised that they were part of the World Empire." Then Alicia looked toward Rose, who always felt something special in the gaze of both.
"I believe I know what you are thinking, but let me tell you that I know nothing about that. According to my mother, my hair is the same as my father's, but he disappeared when I was born. I never met him. My mother also did not tell me his name; she only asked me to forget about that." Rose, who had read the diary together with Alicia and listened to André's explanation, almost knew what they wanted to know. Unfortunately, she knew nothing.
"Then we will return to Solomon City. When the book has been restored we will know more. Right now there is nothing we can do."
