"Metafield Space has restarted? What kind of outdated scam message is this?"
Topaz took out her phone and logged into a fairly popular social platform on the Interastral Peace Network.
To her surprise, she discovered that all of the top ten trending topics were related to Metafield Space. She could not help but remark:
"How exaggerated. Were these all forcefully pinned by hackers? Are the cybersecurity teams of these community websites completely useless?"
"Heh, unfortunately, only the one at the very top was pinned. The others are genuine popularity that came after the news started spreading."
The speaker was a young man with white hair but rather dark skin.
"So you're saying Metafield Space has really restarted."
Topaz spoke with certainty. After all, if it were not true, it would be impossible for the topic to generate such massive attention, nor would the Ten Stonehearts of their Strategic Investment Department have been summoned for an emergency meeting.
"That's right. Who the hacker is doesn't matter. Breaking into a single website isn't difficult. Plenty of people in the galaxy could do it.
"What matters is that someone manufactured a deep-dive device to try it, and discovered that logging into Metafield Space actually works."
Opal, who looked almost like a child, leaned back with his legs crossed and spoke in a slightly childish voice.
The deep-dive device was something invented by Sserkal to synchronize a person's nervous system with the Metafield Space. In order to allow mass production, the technology itself was not particularly complicated.
Recreating it was extremely simple, almost like manufacturing mass-produced smartphones.
"Don't tell me Diamond wants us to invest in Metafield Space? The system itself is already complete. All you need is a deep-dive device to log in. What bargaining chips could we possibly have to attract that Creator Weaver of the Web?"
The speaker was a woman with long red hair.
"Diamond" was the head of their Strategic Investment Department and the superior of the Ten Stonehearts, while "Creator Weaver of the Web" was Sserkal's title.
"Obsidian, from the way you're speaking, do you actually think that the twenty-ninth seat of the Genius Society has been resurrected?"
The one speaking was Pearl, the coral-haired woman seated beside Aventurine. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that she was a mechanical intelligence similar to Screwllum.
"What else could it be? Otherwise, who could restart Metafield Space?" Obsidian, appearing only as a holographic projection, leaned back in her chair and casually brushed her red hair aside.
"Compared to Sserkal being resurrected, I'd rather believe that some other Genius found a way to restart Metafield Space." The white-haired young man Sugilite let out a mocking laugh.
After all, who knew how many Amber Eras had passed.
All that remained of Sserkal were historical records. If someone could even produce a single strand of spider silk she once left behind, he might believe she had been cloned and revived.
"These guesses are meaningless. Whether we invest in Metafield Space or not, we still need to find someone to invest in. Do you have any ideas?"
Opal said. This time he no longer used the childish voice, but spoke with the confident tone of a young man.
Metafield Space, a virtual world capable of connecting consciousness across any dimension, was something no existing technology could accomplish. Its development potential was obvious, and there was no reason for the Interastral Peace Corporation not to get involved.
"Start with that hacker. The fact that they proactively spread news about the restart clearly means they know something about the inside story," said Jade, wearing a black top hat.
"Perhaps we could also contact Miss Herta. As a fellow member of the Genius Society, she might know something about the restart of Metafield Space," Topaz suggested after thinking for a moment.
"Alright. Have the company investigate the hacker. There should be news soon. As for contacting Herta…" Opal glanced around at the others. "Which of you has time to visit her in person?"
Although the company possessed Herta's remote contact information, asking for help naturally required a personal visit.
"I'm in the Molta Star System, far from the Herta Space Station," Obsidian said, shaking her head.
"I'll go. My recent work has just finished, and I'm not far from the Herta Space Station."
After thinking about it, Topaz felt she was the most suitable candidate and volunteered.
"Then we'll leave this matter to you, Topaz."
Opal nodded and continued:
"Today's emergency meeting was mainly about figuring out the situation behind Metafield Space. Once you finish your current tasks, keep an eye on it as well."
The emergency meeting of the Strategic Investment Department lasted several hours before it finally adjourned.
After all, the matter was of great importance. If handled poorly, Metafield Space might even shake the foundations of the Interastral Peace Network.
Only by bringing it under the company's control could things be considered safe.
And it was not only the Strategic Investment Department. Other departments within the company had already begun paying attention and taking action.
Meanwhile, outside Pier Point, countless merchants across interstellar society who had spotted the business opportunity had already begun rapidly building factories to produce Metafield deep-dive devices.
Back when Sserkal created the technology, she had authorized open production. Anyone could manufacture them without paying licensing fees.
As long as they could sell the devices, they would make money. Speed was everything. Whoever acted fastest would earn the profits.
No one in interstellar society could resist the allure of Metafield Space.
This unprecedented market was expected to remain unsaturated for decades to come. One could easily imagine just how enormous this opportunity was.
Wonderland Space, 7 a.m.
Perhaps because they had practiced cultivation for so long the previous night, both Lumine and Stelle were still lying beside him, exhausted and not yet awake.
Nolan gently stroked their snow-white backs. After a moment, his hands slid down to their soft hips, kneading them lightly.
Perhaps sensing something, the two girls lightly brushed his hands away.
Nolan chuckled softly, then reached out and pulled Lumine into his arms, letting her straddle him with her legs apart.
As he slowly pressed close against Lumine, he turned his head and kissed Stelle's soft lips. Gradually, both of them woke up.
Seeing Nolan, who had woken them, the two girls immediately became annoyed. Taking advantage of his strong stamina to bully them all night still was not enough!
Stelle and Lumine exchanged a glance. This time, they were determined to make Nolan surrender and beg for mercy.
However, two hours later, it was still Stelle and Lumine who admitted defeat.
Even when Noelle, who had come to call them for breakfast, was dragged in to join their challenge against Nolan, the outcome did not change.
The girls, exhausted beyond measure, fell back asleep again.
Nolan, meanwhile, got up first to eat breakfast.
Yesterday he had asked Silver Wolf to help spread the news about the Akasha Metafield, and he wondered what the current situation was like.
He also wanted to check whether she and Kafka had reunited with the other members of the Stellaron Hunters.
So while eating breakfast, Nolan used the Waymark to ask the two of them.
"Hmph. Although we were captured by you for a few days, it seems that your space and the abilities you gave us were actually useful. After we successfully completed the mission according to the script, no one noticed anything unusual.
"But Elio and our other two teammates have gone to carry out another mission. We'll have to wait until they finish before regrouping."
Revealing information about her teammates made Silver Wolf somewhat uncomfortable, but she had no choice. Under the effects of the control placed on her, she could only answer honestly.
So it seemed that if he wanted to control the other members of the Stellaron Hunters, he would have to wait a bit longer.
After hearing this, Nolan nodded lightly and continued asking:
"How is the promotion of the Akasha Metafield going?"
"I've hacked into the backends of dozens of popular community websites and apps and placed the related information in prominent positions. Unless something unexpected happens, more than half the galaxy should already know that Metafield Space has restarted."
Silver Wolf continued speaking.
"Well done. Is there any risk of being discovered?"
Nolan asked.
"Hmph. Who do you think I am? How could I possibly be discovered?"
Silver Wolf replied confidently.
For her, doing something like this was nothing more than moving her fingers. It was such a trivial task that it was hardly worth paying attention to.
Besides, she had only hacked into a few websites. She could completely erase any trace of herself. Even if Screwllum were invited to investigate, she was confident he would find nothing wrong.
Especially after that bastard Nolan had increased her strength in such an embarrassing way.
However, hackers of her level were extremely rare even across the galaxy. If even Screwllum could not find any clues, the suspects could basically be narrowed down to just a handful of individuals.
And she had once engaged in a data-domain offensive and defensive battle with Screwllum before, so the likelihood that he would suspect her was fairly high.
Even though there was no evidence, and mere suspicion would not lead to random arrests, the unfortunate truth was that the Stellaron Hunters were already wanted criminals by the company.
If the Interastral Peace Corporation learned about this, they might intensify their efforts to capture them. She just hoped Screwllum would not meddle.
After all, she possessed Aether Editing, making it difficult for the company to capture her. But her teammates did not have that ability. If the company truly decided to mobilize its forces to hunt them down, there would still be some danger.
"That's good."
Nolan trusted Silver Wolf's abilities greatly. Smiling, he said:
"Then as a reward, you and Kafka should come back for a bit. I'll help you improve your strength."
Improving their strength was secondary. The main goal was to cultivate their relationship.
Although Silver Wolf and Kafka had previously been his prisoners, after getting close with them, Nolan already regarded them as lovers just like the other girls.
So easing the tension between them was necessary.
Since he could not meet the other members of the Stellaron Hunters for the time being, he might as well let Silver Wolf and Kafka return to the Wonderland Space, get along with everyone else, and conveniently allow him to raise their affection levels.
"You bastard!"
Hearing Nolan's words, Silver Wolf's fair and pretty face turned red, and she gritted her teeth slightly. This jerk only knew how to bully girls.
But she had no choice. Because of the Command Spell, she and Kafka teleported to Nolan's side.
Nolan, who was eating breakfast, saw the two appear and immediately pulled them down to sit beside him, one on each side.
Kafka, although somewhat dissatisfied that Nolan had taken her virginity, had a rather easygoing personality. Considering that she had no ability to resist him anyway, she simply let him do as he pleased.
Silver Wolf, however, was still somewhat unwilling. She struggled symbolically for a moment before turning her head away angrily, unwilling to look at him.
Nolan pinched Silver Wolf's cheek and coughed lightly before saying:
"Sorry. Back then I was captivated by your beauty and couldn't quite hold back from bullying you. That was my fault. But since it already happened, I will take responsibility for you."
If he wanted Kafka and Silver Wolf to become his girls, the first step in easing the relationship was naturally to admit his mistake and apologize.
After all, he had indeed bullied them and forcibly taken their virginity.
"If that's the case, then remove the control over us and let us go. If you don't even have that much sincerity, what kind of apology is that?"
Silver Wolf curled her lips and said dismissively.
"That obviously won't work. I may want to marry you as my wives, but that doesn't stop you from still being my prisoners. After all, if I remove the Command Spell, you definitely wouldn't behave yourselves and do nothing."
Nolan shook his head.
"You jerk!"
Silver Wolf immediately bit the hand that was pinching her cheek. She had no intention of talking to him anymore.
Nolan laughed softly. It did not matter if they disagreed now. Living together for a long time would naturally lead to feelings developing. Eventually they would become his girls anyway.
He glanced at the notification that popped up on his character panel:
[Silver Wolf Has Developed Good Feeling Towards You. Obtained 1 Affection Point. Current Affection Level: Lv.1 (3/100)]
[Kafka Has Developed Good Feeling Towards You. Obtained 1 Affection Point. Current Affection Level: Lv.1 (3/100)]
Several minutes had already passed. Under the influence of his ability that continuously caused girls to develop affection for him, both Kafka and Silver Wolf unknowingly felt a slight fondness for him in their hearts.
As long as they spent a few more days together, their affection for him would gradually reach the maximum level. That was the effect of his ability to constantly attract girls' favor.
Thinking about it, although he had bullied Kafka and Silver Wolf, the fact that they had not developed negative affection toward him suggested that they did not truly hate him.
After all, he possessed the Beloved by Maidens specialty, affection skills that increased charm, titles that made it easier to gain girls' favor, and many other abilities that significantly boosted how much girls liked him.
With all of those combined, it was actually quite difficult for a girl to develop negative feelings toward him.
For example, Kafka already did not mind him touching her casually anymore, while Silver Wolf was still somewhat defiant. That was mostly due to her fearless, bratty personality.
When interacting with her in the future, occasionally softening his attitude should quickly improve their relationship.
These days Nolan happened to have nothing important to do, so he planned to spend time accompanying Kafka and Silver Wolf, increasing their affection levels.
Considering that constantly practicing dual cultivation with them all day would be too much for their bodies to handle,
he would spend time with the other girls, or go to the Sea of Quanta to search for world bubbles, keep track of the development of the Sweet Flower Merchant Association and the Akasha Metafield, and help with anything that required his assistance.
But at night when he slept, he would have Kafka and Silver Wolf accompany him.
Under such constant close companionship, the affection Kafka and Silver Wolf felt toward him naturally increased rapidly.
After several days passed, the two of them had already reached maximum affection for Nolan.
