Chapter 46 - Alex no demon volume 4 chapter 46(The return of the war god)

Zodia was within his inner mind, witnessing fragments of his childhood and the countless wars humanity had waged throughout history. As he observed these memories, he spoke to himself.

"This reality… it needs to be destroyed. For centuries, humanity has been given powers and special abilities, but instead of using them to protect the weak or even themselves, they have only been used for fighting and suffering. All humans know is war. From one plane of existence to another, it's nothing but war, death, and destruction, that's all beings from different worlds know. But I'll change that. I'll destroy all humans, take away every ability and concept of power that exists in other worlds, and I'll become the one true god."

He emerged from his inner monologue as lightning tore through every soldier on the battlefield. Some soldiers screamed in terror as they fled for their lives, desperately trying to escape. Soldiers from the City of Kagahara quickly regrouped, weaving hand signs as they summoned massive water dragons and sent them flying toward Zodia. At the same time, soldiers from the Iron Country created enormous daggers and hurled them at him.

These waves of attacks surged toward Zodia at top speed, yet he remained completely unfazed. The water dragons slammed into him first, followed by the gigantic daggers and shurikens, triggering a massive explosion that devastated the battlefield with water and debries. A colossal wave of water spread across the mountains and wasteland surrounding the area.

However, the water meant to engulf Zodia was blown away instantly. His hands were still in his pockets, and he stood there without a single injury. Suddenly, he looked up and saw massive spheres of energy flying toward him.

Boredom filled Zodia's eyes as he sighed.

"These people are trash."

As the attacks were about to strike him, he spoke a single word.

"Still."

Time froze.

The entire battlefield was locked in place, dyed blue by Zodia's time stop. Calmly, he walked past the frozen soldiers.

"If this is the level of power the soldiers of the world's strongest nations can achieve," he muttered, "then I'm disappointed."

The time stop ended.

Instantly, the soldiers began tearing apart while screaming in agony. The energy beams they had fired rained down upon their own army, triggering a catastrophic explosion. As their attacks wiped them out, Zodia sighed.

"One hundred and fifteen thousand soldiers against me, and they're still being wasted. Funny thing is, I'm only using twenty percent of my power. These people aren't even worthy of the power bestowed upon them. What a bunch of wasted fodder."

Zodia leaped back onto the hill where Ukina stood and casually stretched. Ukina's eyes shone with excitement as she watched him.

"Lord Zodia, you are amazing!" she exclaimed. "You alone took down thousands of soldiers! You truly are the god of war and destruction!"

Zodia turned toward her.

"I'm glad you unsealed me, Ukina, but tell me—how did you manage it? That must've been difficult."

"It was quite easy, Master," Ukina replied. "I created a criminal organization filled with powerful and extremely skilled assassins. They all shared your ideals, Lord Zodia. They were victims of this tragic world and wanted to erase everything that caused them pain. I gathered them one by one."

Her expression darkened with sadness.

"But… they're all dead. They each had crucial roles to play in this war. Some died before it even began, while others made it to the battlefield but still perished. They were loyal… and kind-hearted people."

Zodia nodded.

"I see. They were that important to you? Don't worry. After this war, I'll bring them back to life. I'll strip this world of its powers and correct it. After that, I'll absorb the power of everything in existence—the energy within every celestial body and every universe. I'll take it all and become the one true supreme being. Just watch."

Zodia looked up and spotted two helicopters, about 90 jets, 90 powerfull drones and about 12 massive warships approaching from above, ready to attack.

"MERE TOYS WONT STOP ME!", he shouted "YOU INSIGNIFICANT MONKEY!".

He gathered energy in his hand and fired it at the warships, causing them to explode instantly, pilots and solidiers who haven't even been deployed, died in the explosions. Moments later, over a thousand more warships from Kagahara advanced toward him. Zodia smirked.

"You want more? Very well. I'll put you in your place!"

He unleashed a massive wave of flames, obliterating every battleship in sight. Laughing menacingly, Zodia burned everything around him as his flames grew larger and more destructive, engulfing the sky itself "AHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAAAAAAA!", he laughed like a madman. The amount of power Zodia was unleashing was so powerful, mountains below caught fire, vallies heated up, giant rivers that stretched up to 500 miles burned and boiled. The weather changed, the sky immediately turned dark.

Below, a thousand soldiers fled in panic. Zodia noticed them—but didn't care.

After destroying the warships, he formed a tiny sphere of energy and hurled it toward the soldiers. As the beam raced toward them, one soldier muttered to himself,

"I knew I should've been a scientist instead."

The beam incinerated them all, reducing them to ashes in a violent explosion. When the smoke cleared, only one soldier remained. His eyes were wide with disbelief. He was frozen in terror, fully aware that he was already doomed.

Zodia looked at him "Ah? Just one solider left? Looks like luck carried you this far.", fired the same attack again at the solider.

A nuclear explosion erupted.

As the smoke dissipated, three figures stood before the trembling soldier: Lady Najenda (Lord of the Lightning Country). Lady Shinra, (Lord of the Country of Raijin) and Lord Yamamoto (Lord of the Iron Country.)
