Chapter 3 - chapter 03 : Heaven is on fire

Abdul Karim Ibn Ahmad had been assassinated.

And after Jacquard Smarda revealed to us part of his secret and the shape of his next plan the death of Abdul Karim threw every calculation into chaos.

As the saying goes: the scapegoat may change, but the slaughter remains the same.

So where is he now?

Did he find another victim?

At this moment, none of that matters.

Because Heaven is burning.

Its inhabitants flee in terror while flames consume its gardens. Fire created by God to serve humankind in their daily lives was twisted by man into an instrument of murder and torture.

And now Paradise itself has been struck by that curse and set ablaze.

What are you talking about?

You sound insane.

Have you lost your mind?

And who cares, anyway?

Do you expect me to mourn for Heaven and abandon sex and adultery, deny my lust, and restrain my desires?

God will defend Heaven Himself.

That is the answer of many people.

Muslim.

Jew.

Christian.

Not all of them but I speak of those who sold their souls and values for a single dip in the river of life, a river that has already dried up while the waterfall of eternity still roars beyond it.

When Granada fell, the Islamic presence in Europe fell with it.

When the Ottoman Empire collapsed, the caliphate and much of earthly justice collapsed beside it.

When Moses died, Judaism died with him.

After Christ vanished and another was made to resemble him, and after Rome and Byzantium crumbled, the churches fashioned by men rather than by God crumbled as well.

So then, according to you, religions have vanished completely?

Wait.

Judging by the way you understand my words, you are either foolish—or thinking from somewhere far lower than your mind.

Religions do not disappear.

They transform from age to age.

But divine law remains.

The truth remains.

So stop letting a mind obsessed with lust and nonsense rule you.

Use your insight.

Awaken the mind of the heart.

Rise from your deep sleep and board the aircraft of salvation before the fire now raging in Heaven consumes you too.

We stand in the middle of the unknown we ourselves created

or inside the false image of a truth that existed long before the universe ever appeared.

So prepare yourself for the beginning of the end.

Because Paradise burning is only a miniature glimpse of the nuclear devastation yet to come.

Death is close to you.

So perform one honorable deed in your pathetic life.

A strange voice spoke from the darkness.

"What am I supposed to do?"

A young man stood in that cursed blackness, clutching a candle in trembling hands. He turned in every direction, searching, as though expecting something to leap from the void.

"Look carefully around you. You will find a message beside a corpse. Take it, and continue on your way."

The voice paused.

"And do not stop where you stand... or you will end up like her."

"You're frightening me," the young man said. "I'm supposed to be in my room not here."

A wicked laugh echoed through the dark.

"No one forced you to sell your soul to a fallen angel."

"I thought it was simple," the young man replied. "Only a passing desire... a lust... something I wanted."

"When you deal with the fallen one, you must give in order to take.

Nothing is free."

The voice fell silent.

The young man gave no answer.

He continued forward until a red door began to emerge from the darkness, appearing only as he drew near. He raised the candle to light his path.

Then the door opened by itself.

Without warning, two black hands shot out from within and seized him.

He screamed as they dragged him violently inside.

The door slammed shut behind him.

The candle fell to the floor.

Its flame rolled once, then steadied—casting light upon words newly visible on the ground beside it.

Heaven is on fire.

So tell me..

who will extinguish that fire?

And what will become of her?

Will that beautiful Paradise be reduced to ashes and ruin?
