[3rd POV]
As it turns out, Daenerys was a huge fan of pineapple pizza. That was something that the girls had seen as blasphemy, but none of them had commented on it. They all knew that Daenerys could not understand jokes and stuff like that, not really.
Lucifer had thought it was kind of funny. The first pizza that Daenerys had found herself truly enjoying, had been the one pizza that a lot of people despise. The pizza that people argue about in pretty much every single universe where pizza actually exists.
It was honestly hilarious.
At the moment they were all sat around the dinner table, each of the children munching on their pizza with happy groans leaving them. It had been what felt like forever since they had last had their moms cooking, and it had been even longer since they had eaten pizza.
But now that their parents were back, they were going to have a lot of chances to eat what they love. And they were all going to take advantage of that fact, which they had to be a bit careful about, as none of them wanted to annoy their parents by asking for too much food or something.
Even though they all should know by now that Lucifer and Alice would never ever get mad at them for something like that. Them wanting to eat snacks was fine to them, it was only when it went truly overboard that it can become a problem to them. And "Overboard" in their eyes was a metric shit ton of food, way too much for them.
Of course this was "Translated" in accordance to the child. Some of them just naturally had to eat more thanks to their traits, abilities, and other factors. Like if one of them was more saiyan than anything, then they would naturally eat more.
Which funnily enough, Lucifer was pretty confident that out of her children, Vi was the most likely to develop that aspect once Lucifer herself did. Vi just had the natural compatibility with the species, and that made it the most likely of the species for her to develop.
She had already been blood adopted by her, but it was still possible for her children to develop future species that she gets. But so far, this had rarely happened, and had only happened to Rose so far. She imagined it was mostly going off of species that were truly in tune with her children.
It just meant she needed to start getting more species for herself, and in return that would allow for her children to potentially get new species for themselves, therefore strengthening them, and increasing their safety further. She hoped to have them all capable of destroying universes by the time they each left the den, so that they would be able to safely protect themselves in most universes they visit.
She wondered what species her other children would be in tune with, but she imagined that it had to be taking so long because the species were stronger ones. Which would then make her children even stronger than just getting a new but somewhat weak species.
She hoped they were interesting, at the very least. And she imagined that with their family vacation coming up soon, there would be plenty of moments that she could use to visit other universes and get some new species. Dragon Ball was of course at the very top of that list, with there being so many unique species that she desperately wanted for herself.
There were a number of other universes, but none that compared to Dragon Ball in her eyes. And some of them were ones that she would want to stay in for a longer time span, like Invincible, which could be an interesting universe to live in for a little while.
Or My Hero Academia, which could be an excellent place to live, as it would be great for Vi to attend the school and learn from some of the heroes. And Lucifer truly could see her enjoying it too, which was the most important part of it in her eyes.
Watching Daenerys bite into her pineapple pizza, Lucifer could barely withhold her laugh when she saw the way the other girls were looking at Daenerys. None of them were outwardly saying anything, not wanting to freak her out or anything, but their eyes were telling the entire story.
They were barely hiding their disgust with the fact that she liked Pineapple pizza. Not true disgust or anything of course, just that teasing type, finding her taste to be weird.
"Have you ever had pineapple before, Daenerys?" Beatrix asked all of a sudden, trying to figure out why she liked that type of pizza of all types.
"No, I have never heard of it before this time. It seems quite exotic, so it was probably incredibly rare in my world, as well as expensive" The Little Girl said in response. The girls all glanced at each other upon hearing her words, realizing that she truly was incredibly well spoken for her age.
But they all understood that it was thanks to her awful world, and the way they raised children there, especially noble children, or children in a situation similar to her own. And in her case, it was mostly due to her brother and his desire to literally sell her to the highest bidder if need be, all for power to take back Westeros.
In her world pineapples truly were very rare, and from what Lucifer knew, they were only really found in the summer isles and a few other very specific islands. Had they been more widely known, she was quite confident that they would have been worth a fortune. Especially back in Westeros, where they spend coin like it was nothing, on even the most minor things that they thought was good or nice.
"Wow, so you guys don't even have stuff like strawberry's or grapes then?" Bloom asked with a tilt of her head, truly curious to hear. She had never even thought of how life would be when some of the best fruits out there, were that rare and that expensive.
But she supposed that it was only natural. Earth was likely the same back when there wasn't proper ways to transport them long distances. And they probably weren't even the same type of strawberries that she knew, due to a lot of biological engineering going into a lot of fruits (primarily bananas and watermelons).
"Oh I've had both of them. Grapes are used in wine a lot I think. But they're still both quite expensive, even in Essos" Daenerys replied after hearing her, a little surprised that those fruits existed here as well. The more she heard about this new world, the more impressed and interested she was in it.
"Interesting"
"So, girls, what do you want to do tomorrow, now that your mother and I are back?" Alice asked, as she looked over at her daughters who all glanced at one another, having a silent conversation like they had earlier when Lucifer and Alice had first gotten back home.
Eventually Vi responded.
"Can we maybe go into New Orleans? We thought it'd be a good place to show Daenerys first, a proper introduction of sorts" Vi replied, as Alice and Lucifer both raised eyebrows at her words, while noticing the other girls were all nodding.
"All right then, tomorrow we'll take a little family trip into New Orleans" Lucifer said, a small smile on her face as the girls let out small cheers, while Daenerys just looked more confused.
And as she watched their reactions, she had only one thought on her mind.
'...That'll be interesting'
