The next morning, sunlight streamed through the windows as we gathered for breakfast. Mother and Anna would be departing tomorrow, returning to their responsibilities in Calo City. The thought left me with mixed feelings. I'd miss them, but their absence would also give me more freedom to experiment with my abilities.
"I've been thinking about the dungeon," I said, carefully cutting a slice of cheese. "There's something I didn't mention before."
Mother looked up from her plate. "Oh? What's that, darling?"
"When we were at the fountain, I noticed something in my blessing." I glanced around to ensure only family members were present. "It offered me the chance to override the dungeon reset timer."
Mother's fork paused midway to her mouth. "Override it? What does that mean?"
